So I login in to my old Nicehash address to get my remainder of my payout from the hack. And unfortunately can’t withdraw because min withdraw is like 0.01BTC and I only got like $20 left since I withdrew 80% earlier in the year in case they went insolvent again.
Then I notice they have an exchange now. So I figure, ok will convert to ETH and withdraw that. And again I didn’t meet the min withdraw it was like $30 or so. Even BCH or EOS had like a $30 min withdraw. Then I noticed USDC was only $10 min withdraw. So I figured might try that. So again I converted ETH to USDC and tried to withdraw and a huge fee of $5 popped up. Since I wasn’t ever going to use nicehash again i figured might as well get my $10 at least. So made the withdraw, said successful hours ago and even sent me an email it was processed but still didn’t arrive in my wallet.
Oh well. I see nicehash going KYC soon since they got an exchange running now. Seems very similar to the old shapeshift now.

did the address link to an account? i was mining with a blind btc account. and not with an email account. so they sent me the coin. you can still use simple miner and mine to an address . now maybe they change that. if they do then they are not worth much. to me.

The wallet I mined was one of the Nicehash addresses I was given. I don't know how it is now, but back in late 2017, if you wanted to mine to your own private BTC address they had huge fees added. If you mined to their own addresses and withdraw manually then the fees were lower.
So I had to manually login, sign the form that I accept the repay and won't sue them in future for any loses and the balance was there. However its so low that you couldn't withdraw the BTC due to min. withdraw fees and you couldn't withdraw ETH either. Only way was to convert to USDC and withdraw that. Which I did, but I still didn't get the withdraw. They either got bugs or they manually process USDC withdraw, who knows.

Epoch #382 just hit and pretty much killed off all AMG 4G GPUs (unless running lolminer) and Antminer E3. Looking at one pool, https://ethermine.org/statisticsIt looks like so far ~15% of the hashrate has been removed from the network. The block times are longer according to, https://ethstats.net/ so I wonder how low it will keep on going. I am assuming 20-25% or so which is crazy high. Regarding lolminer on 4GB GPUs? I will probably just remove them from my farm and sell them on Craigslist. Basically there are 3 issues with lolminer. One there is no remote monitoring, there is no GPU throttling under overheat, they crash every 3 hours on average and the worst of all is the speed reduction. Under Epoch #380, my GPUs ran at 29.5MH/s each, then #381 it ran at 28.5MH/s, and an hour ago the speed decreased even further and runs at 27.5MH/s. So basically not worth the headache. RIP 4GB. Same problem with hashrate, (HiveOS / Lolminer). First card lost even more, from 29 -> 26 Mh/s. Next drop in hashrate, first card 23.6Mh/s, rest of the cards 26Mh/s, Going down quite fast. After it drops under 20Mh/s, it might be better to mine something else. Quite nice that you can make "profit" with 10Mh/s, its only cents but still.

down a bit on https://etherscan.io/chart/hashrate lets see the 20th as they are giving the 19th if it is down 15th that is 5% if this is true and we get 3 drops of 5% the next 3 dags 6gb miners will be very happy
this belong here and in sha-256 BTC mining section. So I quoted and added it. We have a s19 pro due in 30 days. I will post how it runs.
This era is reminding me of 2016-2017.
Everything was going up and it became easier to get gpus.
Not that I advocate gpu to shit coin to btc. But today right now I am pushed in that direction.
To me I am Always looking at:
debt cash coin asics gpus
diff price profit per algo.
I then juggle all of the above.
I would love to buy some bitmain gear, but 7 month lead time for gear is almost never good.
I could justify getting a unit from bitmain on the books for 2020. For the following reasons
USA tax law allows me to have ending inventory subtracted from profits of selling gear.
I still sell a lot of gear and have been consistently do my returns to reflect my gear sales.
So ordering a s19pro from bitmain counts as ending inventory since I paid in 2020.
So it is essentially a 3500 tax deduction.
I can buy the btc from coinbase. So it is not btc out of pocket it is cash out of pocket.
It would mean a certain 1200 savings in tax for this year.
So it lower risk of buying a s19pro.
But I could also order 6x 3060ti units for Jan 15 delivery at the same cost.
same tax break and gear is on hand in under a month vs over six months.
I mention all this due to the past 2016-2017 time frame.
I will make a decision to buy a s19pro or 6 x. 3060tis this week.
To all buying a s19 pro may be okay if you report taxes. It can make your choice easier to do.

maybe I will sell it today. Elon Musk should claim the vacant CEO of DOGE.... .... imagine Tesla cars has builtin DOGE wallets and pays for tolls, parking metres automatically

Anyone else noticing a reducing in hash rate on 6GB - 8GB cards? My poolside hash rate has dropped from 5.4 GH/s to 5.15 GH/s over the last two dag increases? I'm on ethermine might switch pools.

SMSO is reporting 5,600 mh/s which has not changed and Ethrmine average hash rate is 5,175. That's a bigger then usual difference, poolside hash rate use to be around 5,300 - 5,500. Seems to have been like this for over a week and I do not have any 4GB cards. I have one 3080 running on windows not listed on SMOS.

Are you using PhoenixMiner? My observation, SMOS and poolside hash reporting is quite close using PhoenixMiner. Btw, I dual mine ZIL and good to note that ZIL went +50% this past week and added more sats to my stash. My SMOS parameters below (ethermine+rustpool and Nicehash as backup), 1080tis and Vegas -ttli 77 -rmode 2 -pool sg-zil.rustpool.xyz:8008 -wal zil135su7krsueafdgdlmrzw8ynjz5530hlvc8xt2x/0x2DC6330ffc326eF5d9878Ec99De0d9CFC07D144A@asia1.ethermine.org:4444 -pass 8G -worker $rigName -proto 2 -rmode 2 -pool2 stratum+tcp://daggerhashimoto.usa.nicehash.com:3353 -wal2 33eWrdGqmT52MtaeUce8DV7NvTcUXni7aY -pass2 x -proto2 4 -stales2 0

I'm using Phoenix for AMD and T-Rex for NVIDIA. I was a few versions behind on Phoenix, changed to the newest version and I'll see if that helps. Edit, Switched all miners to phoenix and hash rate looks like its going back up. 5,578 vs 5,150.

Yes, switched hash rate jumped and rejected shares 0 vs 15. T-Rex seemed to work better then phoenix until dag 382.
