Hopefully the next few evga que drops are decent.  Last year associate's code gave 5% discount on gpu's vs 3% now.  That was nice as it was almost my sales tax rate of 6.5%.  You get up to 10% on other products like PSU's and motherboards.

Any discount in today's market is good and the dude doing the spreadsheet deserves a bit for his time.  

Gotta to say that EVGA won a good brand perception with me due to the que and the ease of not fighting bot's even with a limit of 1 sku per household.  If I am able to land a couple more cards at the 2020 price this quarter then I will like them even more.

Well they take PayPal   So I get six months to pay.

If I got all of them it would be nice.

I think I will sell it same as the one above.  my cost for this one was 415. I think I will do same listing as above with. 525.01 as a minimum this is new sealed with full warranty.  same as the premium xfx. this is due Jan 25.

It sold out in under an hour and they were limiting it to 1 per buyer.  I picked up 1 and am hoping it ships quickly.  Figure that was $275,000 in sales in under an hour crazy.

I wouldn't just worry about hashrate stats - instead we should look at defi volume e.g. https://defiprime.com/dex-volume
as long as defi activity continues to outpace hashrate growth, mining is safe

Since we are phasing out the 4gb cards. There is no other explanation.

LOLMiner and others have added the ability to keep mining on 4GB cards, abet at reduced hashrate.
I'm sure the hashrate would be up more like 50% in that week, if enough cards were AVAILABLE.

I suspect SOME of the hashrate jump is from new ETH ASIC miners selling out fast, and part of it is from older ASICs turning profitable and getting turned back on - but availability of even 2 generation old GPUs has cratered which indicates a LOT of the hashrate jump is sale of new GPUs and folks with older CPUs turning them BACK on (if I had the power available where I'm at I'd be firing the old R9 290s back up here).

Isn't the Windows 7 --> Windows 10 upgrade still free of charge?
Why not to move to the Windows 10?

There might be some way to do that for free - but the "anyone can do it" offer expired after about a year, and is long gone.

Why not move to LINUX, which is legitimately free and tends to be a bit more efficient in the first place?

You can sell ETH directly on Coinbase, no need to convert it.
In my case, it's Ethermine > auto to Coinbase ballpark once a week or so > sell or hang on to it a bit.

I did recently sell all of it to help pay for my new place though (should close just before end of the month).
Once I move I'll have POWER to work with again!

Congrats for your new place!  I'd guess a new ASIC batch coming online on top of every available GPU put back to work.  A lot of crypto companies mooned on the stonk exchange and promised huge growth and profits...  At least we had a VERY good end of 2020, and a VERY good 2021 start.  Still amazing numbers.  Market will probably tone down a notch or two, next pump, DEFI ponzi for the masses ?  Many things to ponder while basking in the dry GPU produced heat this winter.  Now for a bit of quality sand for the feet in the garage, a long chair with a Mojito in hand, Valve Index VR with the beach on the head feeling the GPU heat wind on my body.  That would be heaven.  Enjoy friends, enjoy the sweet sweet prospects of another beautiful year.  Except of course, the pandemic and everything else...

First time in years I can profit mine in the house..

My heating bill is next to zero from Nov to now.

And I just finished an ice tea laced with homemade vanilla vodka.

I've gotten 2 cards from the que a 3080 black, a 3080 xc3 ultra.  I missed a 3070 while traveling.  I turned down a 3090 as I just couldn't justify the price for mining and resell dropped on those when I got the notification.

I sold the 3080's the same day I got them in back in late October early November.

This isn't official but you can check where you are in the que off this.  I should be getting a 3080 xc3 gaming soon and a 3070.  This time I will keep both and sell off a 1660 ti, a 1060 6g and a 5600 xt.  

I forgot to sign up for the 3060 ti's until about 2 weeks so it's gonna be a while I think on those for me.

buy a good vodka.

buy whole vanilla beans.

split length wise.

24 beans for a fifth of vodka.

I use 36 -48 beans and make a 1.5 liter bottle.

empty enough vodka from the bottle to let the split beans fit.


Let it sit in the fridge 45 days.

and boom.  High quality vanilla vodka and it also works for baking as vanilla extract.

I drink about 1.5 liter bottle every year.
