No one talks about 6800 XT why?
Is it so much worse than the 5700xt, 3080 and 3060 ti?

yeah the cheapest they are = 950 if you are lucky

this is the typical price for 1  1075-1200 on ebay

https://www.ebay.com/itm/ASUS-TUF-Gaming-AMD-Radeon-RX-6800-16GB-GPU-IN-HAND-FREE-2-DAY-SHIPPING/393109439928?

here is an evga 3060ti for $805

https://www.ebay.com/itm/EVGA-GeForce-RTX-3060-Ti-FTW3-ULTRA-GAMING-8GB-GDDR6-Graphics-Card-GPU-IN-HAND/143932805002?

please note fast ebay searches .  sellers could suck.

6800 are just way too expensive.  Plus there is no stock at all where i'm at.  A 6800 non xt brand new on newegg is 1100usd or about.  Is the GPU market rational ?  Lets have a look at "sold" North American ebay sales this week: (quick averages of what looks to be actual sales not including shipping)
-1080ti = 650 to 750 cad
-5700/xt = 700/900 cad
-3060ti = 1000 cad
-3070 = 1100 cad
-3080 = 1700-1800 cad
-6800/xt = 1200/1800 cad
-580 8GB = 200-300 cad

ETH hashrate now up 15% for the month, at least.  Still climbing.  Anybody building a mine now is either very optimistic or I am very pessimistic.  However, ETH profits have been consistently very high for very very very long now.  There are chip shortages everywhere.  Will a RX 5700 be worth the same as my 2004 BMW X3 soon?  Is that not an interesting perspective...

well it is hard to say what is going to happen a lot depends on Eth earn price per mh.

today on viabtc it is around 8.08 cents an mh

so with round numbers in a way that make profits a bit less than real

AMD 5500xt = 25 x 8 or $2.00 a day burns  2.0 kwatts at 20 cents is 40 cents  1.60 profit
AMD 5600xt = 40 x 8 or $3.20 a day burns  2.3 kwatts at 20 cents is 46 cents  2.74 profit
Amd 5700xt = 50 x 8 or $4.00 a day burns  2.7 kwatts at 20 cents is 54 cents  3.56 profit

Nvidia 3060ti = 60 x 8 or  $4.80 a day burns 3.4 kwatts at 20 cents is 68 cents 4.12 profit
Nvidia 3070   = 64 x 8 or  $5.12 a day burns 3.6 kwatts at 20 cents is 72 cents 4.40 profit
Nvidia 3080  = 95 x 8 or  $7.60 a day burns  5.8 kwatts at 20 cents is 1.16       6.46 profit
Nvidia 3090 = 120 x 8 or $9.60 a day burns  8.0 kwatts at 20 cents is 1.60       8.00 profit

5500 at 150 days 240 profit
5600 at 150 days 411 profit
5700 at 150 days 534 profit

3060ti at 150 days 618 profit
3070   at 150 days 660 profit
3080   at 150 days 969 profit
3090   at 150 days 1200 profit

based on these numbers

I found 1 3070 that may be worth buying on eBay

People are nuts about Dogecoin, look at their Reddit,

https://old.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/

The main "MEGA THREAD" at the top was created less than 2 hours ago and already over 4000 comments. Another popular thread is titled "When Doge reaches $10 ill have $10000 and give everyone $10".

Can you guys imagine $10 DogeUSD? Basically Bitcoin doesn't need to worry about the flippening by Ethereum its Dogecoin instead.

This definitely won't end well. Only reason why Dogecoin is not pumping right now is because Robinhood crypto disabled it and people are joining other brokers/exchanges but it takes a while for their fiat to hit the exchanges. Next week should be crazy for crypto especially Doge. So don't be dumb like me and try and short it.

trading reminds me of school..

i don't fall in loooong line to pay in the cashier before exams. but i can take the exams, why? professors don't want to make another test paper just for me.

and the after the exams, there is no line...zero..none. i pay with ease LOL

and i got to troll a department where i took the picture of the professor with her sidekick outside the office, then i levered up myself with the metal grills from the cashier window and place the picture as high as possible just before the school closes......and then morning comes when many people are falling in boring looooooong lines just to stare at that photo LOL..they can't take it off, they need a handyman with a ladder to remove it hehe. the case was unsolved.  Cheesy

Yeah the 580 8GB were $250-$300 cards but it seems that there are some sellers that are asking $400-$500 for them right now. $400 Cad is pretty much way more than they were MSRP about 4 years back. So I don't know whether these people are actually serious about selling or if they are just putting an offer out there and seeing if they can find someone dumb enough to pay that much for a card which had a second hand value about 1/3 of that 1 year ago.

These cards are one thing, they aren't that old and you can still game with them. However there are people selling Radeon R9 270X cards for $200. People selling Radeon 6850 GPUs for $100. Those cards are obsolete pretty much, in mining and gaming.

Looking at the ETH profitability? Are the profits high? In my opinion not really. I think back in late 2017 and early 2018, you could of pulled $5 per day per 480 and up to $15/day with a 1080Ti. Now the RX 480 pulls in slightly over $2 per day and in one week it will most likely be less due to the huge difficult.

I just add EU prices (Used my countrys most used shops and forums for info)

-1080ti = 450€ (Used)
-5700/xt = 400-500€ (Used)
-3060ti = 509€ / Can be order but no date for delivery (Used same price)
-3070 = 709€ / Long delivery, 829€ / Next day. (Used same price)
-3080 = 969€ / Can be order but no date for delivery (Used same price)
-6800 = 829€ / Can be order but no date for delivery,  949€ / Next day (Used same price)
-580 8GB = 200€ (Used), 260€ (NEW)

In my country these computer forums have rules that you cant ask for more than you paid. At least for the just released cards.

Not sure why older cards are getting that expensive elsewhere. My country is one of the worst when it comes to VAT and therefore prices of GPU as well.

1080 Ti was between 250 and 320 euros before bull run and now they are between 280 and 350 (not really a big jump).

Although, all newer cards are skyrocketing in price and it's really hard to even find them on sale.

On another note, Doge is down to 0.028 which is around 65% down from ATH of two days ago. A bit sad tbh, but I am happy that I cashed out near the top. All the profit is going back into BTC holdings.

I did okay on the doge. But I have an issue on my trezor the doge wallet is frozen which means I could have sold more coins and now I can't.

I managed to up my binance.us levels and went to send more doge to them and it is stuck.

Not sure how many more I would have sold at 4-5 cents that got stuck but at least  4 or 5 thousand usd worth (100,000 coins )

100% Trezor problem. Similar thing happened on Exodus wallet. They disabled exchanges for Doge, but they did not disable deposits/withdrawals (like binance did at certain point). I managed to withdraw it from Exodus and trade it.

I did 260,000 coins at 1.9-8.1 cents lets say 5 cent avg. or 13k usd

I now have a frozen trezor with 440,000 coins of which 15,000 are in sends to binance.us and bittex.

I did not plan to sell all 700,000 doge but would have sold more like 350,000 or 400,000.

I will just let the mess sit.

What I will do is make a core doge wallet. this won't happen again.

Have to take it all with a grain of salt.

On my birthday (27th) the 700,000 coins were worth 1.1 cents x 700,000 = 7700

I cashed 13,000 usd on the 28th and the 29th and still have 440,000 coins worth 3 cents each or 13,200 usd.

If I get lucky they will fix it soon  and maybe it will be back to 5 cents.

If I get lucky they will fix it soon  and maybe it will be back to 5 cents.

I think the DOGE pump might not be over yet. It was #1 trending on twitter a few hours back. The reason why the pump stopped at 8 cents is because Robinhood apparently disabled instant deposits and people can't buy crypto with unsettled funds. I guess too many people were buying Doge that they had to restrict some access to prevent any problems in the future in case the funds don't confirm with someone's bank and Doge loses its value in the mean time.

So every business day as people funds get settled, more and more people will buy Doge. Look at Google trends for "dogecoin"
https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=today%205-y&q=dogecoin

Apparently the wallstreetbets are also pumping silver trying to get a short squeeze there. All physical silver is sold out in stores and it jumped 7% over the weekend. So seems like this will be a crazy week.

Apparently the wallstreetbets are also pumping silver trying to get a short squeeze there. All physical silver is sold out in stores and it jumped 7% over the weekend. So seems like this will be a crazy week.

Well I am hoping for funds to move today. They are at 3.9-4.0 cents

  I have 440,000 coins

I would sell 290,000 for 6,800  and hodl 150,000.

What country would that be?

I ordered an RTX 3060 Ti yesterday, only to have the shop call me and say it was a mistake and they don't actually have it.

Last week I saw a bunch of RTX 3060 Ti, at least 6 of them, with my own eyes in a shop but they refused to sell any since "they need them to assemble gaming configurations".

Most used card ads that are over a day or two old have already been sold and/or the prices no longer apply, but the sellers didn't bother to delete the ad.

So there's a long way between seeing a card listed online and actually getting it in your hands for the quoted price. The price for a used RX 5700 (XT) is €400 only if you manage to actually get the card in your hands for €400. Otherwise it's just random numbers on the internet.
