Anyone managed to push theirs past 225? Every time I 250, it jumps up to 1275W in, but beeps constantly and eventually drops back down in 5-10 seconds.
Edit: At 225M I get 1153GH/s using 1148W using an EVGA 1300W G2 on 115V. It will probably be a little better on 240V, but I don't have per-outlet metering on my PDU and I wanted to get power measurements using my KillAWatt.
To get it running @ +225Mhz I would suggest to up the voltage to 0.85V... Get out your pencil!! Where's the rocket scientist when u need one? check the overclocking thread. There will be two resistors associated with the output voltage of the TPS53355 regulator. using a pencil mod on one will increase voltage and pencil modding the other will decrease it. Figure out which one ups the voltage and go to town - 0.9V will probably unlock ~1.25TH/1350W. 0.95V might be sufficient for up to ~1.35TH/1.6kW if you can cool it a lot better then stock

Mr Teal: You can plug a killawatt directly into 220, it works. my S2 clocked 200 volts 220.2 amps 4.72 watts 1022 hash 1020 Mine doesn't, it reads 160V and almost no current. It is an older one though, so it's entirely possible that a new revision has fixed that. After running all night, I'm now getting 1150GH/s with 1200W power draw, with the board 1 at 59C and the rest around 50C in a 25C room.

Are the fans running with 1022w being pulled? If so, what speed? Seems there is some pretty serious variance between machines. gig, there is much varience... my other S2 does not do this well.. also, this is early morning after a night of cool air.. later today I expect 1075 watts and a 4.88amp reading.

So UPS should be delivering my S2s today... I am picking up a case of red bull just in case I will need to up all night setting up all of the miners one by one...

So while I love the S2, its just not as small apartment friendly as the S1s. I have one S2 in Raleigh, NC. Looking to get rid for equivalent price of Batch 2 ($3600 USD or btc) PM if interested.

I appreciate seeing the voltage/speeds/wattage results posted for these sort of mods, so tip of the hat For me at $0.15/kwh it makes more sense to run all my gear at full tilt (under 0.7% hw errors of course) for at least until the start of summertime

Both machines arrived... all of the boards were seated (even after customs decided to open the package and the case)... Only issue I have is one of the LCD screens is not working but I feel lucky considering some of the horror stories. When people said they were loud... they were not kidding... Edit: LCD screen fixed too... It seems that keeping the Getway at 192.168.1.1 seems to work right out of the box.

Thank you for the pictures. Looks very interesting. Wonder how they came up with that design. Smaller heatsinks with more boards instead of using the S1 boards and just jamming into a case.

so fast questions. who has one mining at btcguild ? who has one getting 1th ? who has one at 950 watts or less? So far from what I read I am not that impressed. Seems to me a 2x s-1 under clocked to 300 gh pulling 300 watts would have been: A easier to make B cheaper to ship C fit in a much smaller case Frankly I think they fucked up. They will need a 1200 watt psu or sell it with out one . Here is a prediction buying these psu's at amazon will allow for one to be marked up to 400 from 290. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JG5LSN8/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 this psu is basically the same as a corsair ax1200i . after reading the thread i ordered one of these .
