There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

As I know the calculator is same for alt coins so if I enter current difficult, block reward + market price:
http://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/krugercoin-mining-calculator/?h=6000.00&p=2000.00&pc=0.12&pf=0.00&d=91.92048916&r=4000.00000000&er=0.00001524&btcer=485.00000000&hc=0.00

I get 0.08004566 BTC/day/6mh
0.08004566 / 6 = 0.0133409433333333 BTC/MH/day

your site calculate it as 0.00013866 BTC/MH/day

We must be tiny hash compared to the rest of the network... just 2 hours in at 187 MH/s and no coin found yet. I haven't done my research yet, waiting to see some numbers come in (average block time, share rate, etc) to see if it's worth my time to add more hash.

The profitability question came up a few pages ago, basically the IPOminer site calculates it based on its own mining results and the price it retrieves from the exchanges. Looking at the stats page for YellowCoin the pool has only found one block so far which is not enough to provide an accurate average of YC/MH/day, hence why the profitability appears so low.

I've been having a look through the YC spec and its blockchain (http://www.yellow-coin.com:1777/chain/YellowCoin, noticed something else which may affect your profitability estimates - although the initial dev post says block generation time is 20secs with difficulty recalc every block, that doesnt really seem to be the case. PoS blocks are being generated with 0 difficulty, PoW blocks difficulty is around 200 at present and the generation time looks more like 90-120secs. Means total coin available is much lower than the "4000 per block" would suggest (and the dev pre-mine is a relatively much higher percentage), unless I have something totally wrong. Profitability figures on the IPOminer website should be getting more accurate now as they are based on coins actually mined.

Makes the 1M YC giveaway currently being advertised sound like good value tho Smiley

Sorry about the delayed BITS withdrawals. There was an invalid payout address clogging up the works and I was traveling today -- its fixed now.

YellowCoin profitability estimates should be fixed in the next 15 minutes as well. PoS coins report some information slightly differently, so they need to be added to a special case processing in our code for their profitability calculation or it will be off by 2 decimal places.
