I know that Barcelona had a really big victory against Real Madrid in La Liga but I think they should not get ahead of themselves and concentrate on the job at hand first.
And the first job is to reach the finals. I think Barcelona should win this Europa League title after the performance that they have shown in recent times. And if they don't, it will still be a great comeback from the team.

Yeah, that's win made Barcelona even better, I agree Xavi job should be to reach the Final first. But I don't think it's difficult because there's only one opponent left who is the best in my opinion its Lyon, on all club currently the strongest opponent. Performance improved and stable at this time, Barcelona should be able to advance to become champions if no one is injured, Xavi must be able to maintain the condition of the striker.

These fixtures have always been tough, but I believe the Spanish teams this time around have better stats against English teams and am expecting a win for Xavis boy's, but certainly not going to be a walk in the park...these lads will be given a run for their money and if luck isn't on their side the hammers could actually hit them by surprise.

And I don't even hesitate to say this because West Ham improved themselves a lot by destroying Sevilla in a really tough match. Maybe the score was not about destroying but West Ham's performance in England was really solid. As they eliminated one of the favourites in this way, the expectation level from them has become much higher as they can realize it easily now too. It would have been great to watch a West Ham - Barcelona finale but we aren't going to do so unfortunately.

Because Barcelona is already qualified for champions league in next season its not enough reason to lose to westham in the Europa. and who knows if west ham will survive the quarter finals against lyon and even if they  do  the will need to play a very classic game to win Barcelona which the chances are very slim going by how far xavi has improved Barcelona games.

I think we are underestimating Lyon here. How are we sure that West Ham will make it out of the Quarter finals. Lyon might be having a terrible season in Ligue 1, but that doesn't guarantee that they will lose against West Ham. The same thing applied to Barcelona. The  Europe League results something is usually shocking, especially in the Quarter and Semi finals. Although, they might probably be seems as the favorites.

I agree that when a goal in the form of a cup looms on the horizon, then teams that are not favorites may have additional reserves that can overthrow all the layouts. Also, let's not forget that teams like Lyon, which are not so successful in their domestic championship, can put all their efforts and even more in such a fairly prestigious international tournament as the Europa League. Moreover, Lyon's participation in the European cups next season is a big question, which can also give additional motivation to the team. In any case, I think that the tournament grid in which Barcelona is located looks more powerful than the one located on the opposite side.

There will be a draw between the favourite teams of the title next round in case West Ham and Barcelona both get past their opponents without problem. One of them isn't going to be able to reach the final in the Europa League as a result. And in this kind of a situation, I would be really curious about which team would make it. Most people would like to find out the answer to this and we will most probably figure it out as they are likely to play against each other.

I think the team that is going to advance to the next stage should be Barcelona because they have been playing great football in recent times and by seeing them play I can confidently say that they are better than the other teams in the Europa League. yes, Sevilla has actually shown good potential in this season. I think it was quiet and lucky that they will be short in the Europa League against West Ham. I think right now it should be Barcelona to win the Europa League. I don't see any other team being better than Barcelona and I also don't see any team who can actually contest Barcelona at that level.

I was not surprised that West Ham won Sevilla,  Sevilla have not been consistent in there performance, they need to work on their performance.  West Ham play very well was able to realise two goals from the game.

Xavi is really working on Barcelona,  I can see a big difference compare to before, Barcelona is now becoming tough and interesting like during the days of Messi when he was still in the club.

Sevilla are in a big downturn - they have only won 4 in their last 14 games so I wouldn't overestimate West Ham's result. Now West Ham have a good chance of reaching the semi-finals as Lyon who will face them is also having a bad season and I would rate them even weaker than Sevilla.

Sevilla were doing good in start of this season just because of their this performance they are also having some good spot in La Liga but sadly in last few matches they are having some poor performance which is hurting them badly, so they also knocked out of UEFA Europa Cup which is surely great for them as they are only team to complete hat trick of wins here, but it's all part of game now with their lose we have another Spanish giant which is now favorite for win.

Even it's not predictable but with their performance they are currently hot favorite with we have some more good teams in contention like West Ham, Atlanta and Leipzig because these all teams are currently in the best shape and doing good in this competition and their relative leagues as well.

First of all, I don't think that Sevilla is a strong team. But they are a stable team. I said this because they had drawn 12 matches this season out of 29. Which is the highest. They have lost only 2 matches this season. Their tactics is, play defensively, secure the game, and then try to win. So, when they were beat to West Ham I was not surprised.

On the other hand, at this moment Barcelona is a strong team. If they maintain this type of form, then win the Europa League title is not hard to them. I hope they will achieve this.

I think you are saying West Ham is going to win because they are a team from the English Premier League, right? and the competition in the English Premier League is generally very high right now.
So, they are facing higher competition and still doing quite well in my opinion. So, I think they are generally the better team in this match. It's not about underestimating anyone, it's about who's the better team to win.
Personally I also agree with AndySt, I think this time Barcelona should be the winner.

The Frankfurt draw wouldn't be so hard for Barcelona hopefully. They learned it the hard way against Galatasaray the last time and I wouldn't expect them to show a similar level of performance in this draw. Frankfurt wouldn't resist them too much I guess. And the most important thing is what Barcelona would do against West Ham next. I'm saying West Ham because I don't think that Lyon can eliminate them like they did to Porto. West Ham would beat them up in the first leg already and finish it.

Westham is a strong title contender. Westham and Barcelona are the favourites for europa league. Westham started the europa very well and got one of the most beautiful results in the group stage. When they were getting the results they were also doing great in the English premier league. As time goes on they begin to drop momentum because they do no have so many grate players that will handle different matches. But they still managed to push to this stage. More really did a wonderful job.

At this stage that it is becoming clearer that Westham may not make it to the top four of the premier league of England this season. Westham has known that their eggs are in one basket and they will fight very well to move to the next round and I wish them success
