Atletico Madrid - Manchester United matchup is a really tough one for both clubs. Manchester United seem to be a little closer to advancing to the next round but it is still hard to predict. Because although Atletico Madrid are having a difficult time these days, they are still an unpredictable club. They can surprise everyone by showing a decent performance. Every year we have some hard talks about this but sadly most of the time no can give correct predictions about this all because it's not easy for anyone on his day any team can perform good and able to lift trophy right now we have three hot favorites, but I have my own view about this all because so now I am feeling about this season we have Real Madrid, Liverpool, Juventus and Bayern Munich to win title but still it's my own predictions without any strong logic.
Many believed that PSG and Manchester City both having good chance to win this year's title, but I have no interest because I am feeling you can create great team with money but can't win against talented teams on this level.

Even though a lot of people think that PSG is a really good team, in my opinion, I don't think that they are going to lift the Champions League trophy.
They have not shown any performance which suggests that they can do such a thing.

Manchester City is a strong contender for the trophy in my opinion.
But I cannot honestly shake the feeling that Bayern Munich is the strongest team here and they can beat any team regardless of their form and the players that are playing in the opening 11, by a scoreline of a tennis match. They can beat any team at any given time.

also chelsea had a weaker opponent in the round of 16 , other factors? idk .
real madrid had a great weeks and sitting on top in the domestic league ... yet they are out of top 5 favorites , it seems the recent games doesnt count for the odds. real madrid for sure should be on the list!

Here I agree with you most of time Bookies create confusion with these odds, and they have good success because many times punters place bets with these odds and lost money like many peoples feeling about these favorite teams can do some good but most of the time they fail in quarter-finals and semi-finals for having good way for teams which were not good in early stages.

Chelsea is currently very poor and this has not impact on their Champions League odds because we all know they can do very good, and they have weak opponent on other side we all know Real Madrid is doing very good, but they have very tough match even we all know they can beat PSG as they fail to do some good with many stars in team. I have my own list of teams those can go through like Liverpool, Real Madrid, Juventus and Chelsea have fair chance to win this year's title.

According to the recent odds, PSG are not even one of the biggest three candidates to win the Champions League title now. I wonder why bookmakers are thinking like this now. PSG still don't seem the biggest candidate maybe but they are not much weaker than Manchester City in the end. They should have been given a much lower odd than this. I think that PSG are strong enough to reach the final at least. Maybe it is doubtful if they can win the title but they can reach the final. And they should do so before losing Mbappe.

I would have added PSG but to me PSG aren’t really a team that can compete with Bayern Munich even with all those great players in the team especially the attack, the chemistry isn’t really there when they play and that is why they are having a hard time scoring goals. Domestically PSG have lost just one match with 5 draws and winning 15 games, but we know they are not really in a competitive league. And I don’t think the manager have enough champions league experience to know the right thing to do when the going gets tough. Champions league is very competitive and considered the highest league trophy in football.

And they are also in the top position in UEFA Champions League in their group. But they are only one point clear of PSG. So I don't think that this should be any problem for them too.

Anyway, Manchester City has a match against Southampton tonight which I think ok Manchester city is going to win easily unless something miracles happen.

I mean if you asked 100 people, 90+ would say that City would beat Chelsea but we know how it turned out. Champions league is elimination level and just because of that, it becomes a bit of a problem for teams like City. They could be great teams, they could be awesome in a league format, but when it comes to elimination games, they could lose some games.

We have seen this with Liverpool before as well, while becoming champions in their league, they were horrible at champions league and lost. So, it is not really easy to achieve it all at the same time, sometimes it takes a bit of a time. Maybe this is their year and they will be good, or maybe this is once again another year where they will realize being great in the league means nothing.

Well, I wouldn't say that being great in the league means nothing. If you did then the team should not push for first place in their own league. If you don't think about it as one player not playing to his best and instead you think of it as the trio not clicking, I think it starts to make more sense.

Messi was the star of Barcelona and when he left he felt like a man out of his home and Neymar always wanted to go back to Barcelona to play with Messi which obviously never happened.
And for Mbappé I don't think he is going to perform his best if he stays in the club and for him, it might be more of a homesick issue than anything else.

Personally I wouldn't consider them amongst my favorite three candidates, but the thing is if you look at their individual quality, anything is possible and things can change quickly, but as for now I can understand why the bookmakers have the odds fixed that way, if you look at PSG during the group stage, they weren't as good as people thought they would, they were not too bad idea, but City were by far the better team in the group, and even in their domestic league, they lead the standings, but they aren't in scintillating form.

Having said that, it's still very much possible that PSG would make it to the final, but for now, I can't tip them for that, except Pochettino is able to gather his boys effectively and unleash them, but for now they are not really great as a team. City, Bayern, Real Madrid are better candidates to lift the trophy if you ask me.

Yes, I have to agree and this is absolutely true that both the teams, Atletico Madrid and Manchester United are not in top shape right now. They have been facing a lot of problems but at present, they seem to be starting to solve these one by one. But some things that I have to say is Manchester United seems to steam the show at the last minute of the match. The event scored a 93-minute goal in their last match.

So they are obviously determined and passionate about their game. And Atletico Madrid can be really unpredictable. So it is really hard to predict any one of these teams and I also certainly think that the match is going to be equal.
