There are exactly two weeks to go for the first matches to begin. The one between PSG and Real Madrid must be the most waited one for most people I guess. When we assess the current situations of these teams now, we can see that both of them are amazingly good. I really admire Real Madrid especially. They seem to be a more credible team than PSG these days to me for some reason. It is a great pleasure to watch this version of Benzema now. He is having one of his best seasons certainly and he is a big threat to PSG. If PSG don't get a nice result in the first match, Real Madrid can really eliminate them by the rematch.

Good talk. I agree that both teams have been doing very well lately - Madrid in particular that has been terrible in the last 2-3 seasons finally seem like they have found their rhythm. Definitely going to be a match to look out for. However, I still think that PSG would be a hard nut to crack given their superb and extensive squad list. PSG has limited chance to win the UCL so they would want to win.

Real Madrid is still a big and great team in every season I think it's just that, sometimes competition with different team situations and conditions at all times makes Madrid not always look good in the UCL, especially in the previous few seasons but for the 2020/2021 season yesterday Madrid arrived at the match semifinals. Regarding PSG, I think we will all agree that the number of star players that PSG currently has is not strong enough and in fact, recently PSG were eliminated in the round of 16 in the Coupe de France event. PSG lost by Nice on penalties, with this result I think it is clear PSG are not good enough to win against Madrid.

I don't think that PSG is going to do good against Real Madrid because previously I thought that they are stable right now and quite consistent but after the loss against NICE, I am starting to doubt PSG they should be really doing far better than this. If this was a small team then I could have used the term unpredictable but that does not apply here.

PSG may be able to buy all the star players, but they can't imitate how Madrid and Barcelona made all the star players able to play into a solid team to win the UCL. Before many star players join PSG, they had dominated Ligue 1 already, but after some star players there, in the UCL, their best was only as runners up. This is indeed a good achievement, but this is before Messi joined PSG, this season, PSG already have to face Madrid and become an early final, this will be a proof for PSG, that their purchase was not in vain. Wll Ronaldo isn't happy with MU anymore, maybe he will be linked with PSG once again in the next transfer windows.

And Real lost to Sheriff. Things that are totally unexpected could happen all the time, just because Leipzig is closer to City (not really) than Sheriff being close to Real, people think that City just played bad and these type of things could happen in the future as well, to me they were both the same type of games.

Sometimes huge names do not really care about some games and this is what happens, when you lose motivation that is what we have as a result. I do not mean to say that it is something I am not seeing ever happening again, of course it could happen again but I feel like City will be dominating and destroying Lisbon very easily. Not because Lisbon is a very low level team, they are a decent team of course but City is... well they are City, we all know what type of power they have and they may end up winning the whole thing.

It is not any unusual thing, we have seen a lot of great players and a lot of great teams lose to smaller teams, right? Sometimes fate behaves hostilely.

In my opinion this is just case of lack of concentration or probably just having a bad day.

Well, we also have even seen in Bundesliga, Bayern Munich lose to a lower ranked team of which the name I cannot even remember at this moment.

So, it's not that if a good team plays bad one day they are going to play bad the rest of the season or something like that, okay? So, I think even though City lost a match which they shouldn't have lost I still think they are going to dominate.

I actually thought that PSG is really a better team and really consistent right now, at least before they lost against NICE. They also recently have a draw against OL.

I know this obviously does not prove anything and obviously does not prove that they are going to lose in the match but if we talk about consistency then I still think that PSC is not that consistent which there should be. I was quite confident that they will win against Real Madrid but now I am starting to doubt them.

That is for the cup game they surely took it easy and thought we are PSG and we can win against any opponent but in the end with penalties being played,there is a lottery to be won and they did not win it.For the draw with Olympique Lyon they are leading comfortably the table and have most likely already won the Ligue 1 for this year with the nearest opponent being 11 points behind them.Their full focus I believe to be in the Champions League and I predict them going far ahead in this competition.

I belive all these talks about Mbappe being in Real Madrid next season really got to them. He is either the best player or at least one of the best in the club, I could even say he could be the best, and when your best player is not even considering to stay, and he is talking with other teams, then you usually do not really have anything else to say.

I am not saying that we should avoid all of it and focus on just playing for the time being, because players can't really do that. How would you feel if your teammate agreed to join another club and you have only a few months to play with them? They will play like maybe 4 more months together and then he will be gone. This could be dropping the chemistry in the team, players may let this get to their heads and this could be causing the other players to not even want to play with him too much.

After the PSG - Real Madrid matchup, the most remarkable matchup to me is Atletico Madrid - Manchester United certainly. Because this is also a matchup between close teams in terms of strength. Atletico Madrid seem to be an unpredictable team these days and Manchester United are also not much different than them actually. However, I still see Manchester United being one step ahead of their opponent now. Because there have been good signals for them as I really liked their performance in their last a few matches. If this goes on like this, Manchester United will be my favourite to eliminate Atletico Madrid.

PSG is a club with rich owners so I am sure they done really care if mbappe leaves on free or now, they made a gamble to bring him to the club hoping he can help them win the champions league but the gamble didn’t go their way so I can’t really say mbappe was a failed project, they bought all the players in the clubs to achieve a common goal so I don’t think one player should take the blame if their wish didn’t come through. Atletico Madrid have had bigger struggles than them in the recent times. And Manchester United have started playing better than their poor look before. They have a more promising lineup also that includes very capable players. Even Ronaldo would be enough to scare Atletico Madrid. Because they don't have a good history with him while he was at Real Madrid. Maybe Ronaldo will have a big role in his team to advance to the quarter finals here.

As both teams are on the even stage, I honestly hope that both the teams play for winning and go for goals in the match, it should be a high-scoring match.

I am a big fan of Messi but still, I think that PSG might play really safe in this match. Because after the decent loss against NICE I think PSG are actually on the back foot and it might affect their mentality. But I think that Real Madrid will be really determined to win this match. This match might end up in a draw none the less but I still expect goals in this match.

The reality is that Mbappe does not want to extend his contract at PSG, while PSG's own board management has offered him a new contract. I've heard that on one of the existing news channels, but I don't know if it's legitimate news or not because of course PSG will regret it if Mbappe is released on a free transfer later. Anyway, even though Mbappe has remained at PSG throughout this UCL season, I personally am still not sure that PSG will go further, because their competitors this season can also be said to be better.
