People over-estimate coin supply and it's pretty simple to prove it. If coin supply was that important, why isn't 42coin valued more right now? And what about 13coin?Because it's not about coin/supply, it's about offer/demand. A cut in supply could increase market value for some time, but this is short-term thinking.
Fundamentals are what count overtime and Hirocoin has long term thinking embedded, so best thing to do is to find another coin if you're a day trader.

You may want check your balances on the pool as the transaction table was badly altered. The stats on the pools may be incorrect, but most coins that should have went out during the affected period were effectively sent. We did our best to track the balances and keep them proper, but it seems some users got more payouts than they sould, and some got less.
The only period affected in the database is between April 17th to April 18th.
This is a bad situation for all of us and we would like to offer every affected miner deep apologies for all the inconvenients.
We weren't expecting such a fatal attack and are still amazed by how much this affected all our pools.

Any suggestion of changing the coin supply is extremely foolish.
It's like if the federal bank decided to tomorrow remove half of all money in circulation. It would perturbation buying power and value. 2 things you don't do to someone's money.
We are just offering some suggestions, because the devs are initiating some events to communicate with community. If you call suggestions foolish, i think your remarks only speak for yourself, who is nothing but vulgar. it was suggested, and denied, for way more valid reasons than the suggestions propose. That's it that's all. I'm jumping ship of any coin that would even contemplate changing coin supply for very obvious reasons. |

we are not 42coin, dogecoin, bitcoin. Hirocoin can be a huge thing, only by adaptation. I am not saying thing because i bought large amount of hiro. You can tell from the charts and volume, not many ppl getting serious about this coin. But i do see a lot potential here! |

We had earlier backups that we merged with whatever we could recover from the corrupted hiro database. Some users got paid more, while some users got paid less. We will even that out, just contact us there is no scam and nobody is running with your coins. This issue was out of our crontrol, nobody wishes that ALL their databases become corrupted after a server crash while being attacked like crazy. |

(wedding photographer) this is not an excuse from professional pool owners.. i am using the same username as here.. "copychicken" and i send the email through the contact form on the pool.... i dont know if that is working too. When I was a really small pool I was able to backup databases every hour. Go ahead, try backing up databases on large servers on fire from the traffic. It's really tough. Backing up every few moments just isn't in the cards. You have to do rolling backups. Do one DB may not get backed up for a few hours at least. |
