Both pacers are wicket less and both wickets are picked by Kuldeep Yadav, this tells the story that wicket is supporting spinners. England need to be careful as Ravindra Jadeja is still to come for bowling.

England openers were so lucky to get past so many outside edges from Indian pacers in the first one hour period then the spin came into the attack and Pope gifted his wicket before the Lunch. Still England played decent enough and post lunch will be good to score runs which means the first innings score is going to be huge unless they starts gifting wickets like Pope did.

As expected two changes but Rohit mentioned Patidar unfortunately got injured yesterday at the time of toss is kind of hilarious because as well all know he didn't prove with performance in all the 6 innings so they could be bold enough to state that he is not in the good form.

Mohammad Siraj and Jasprit Bhumra have been swinging the ball well but they are yet to take any England wickets, India's spin bowler Kuldeep Yadav picked up the two wickets that England lost. We have seen the batting failure of the England team in the previous three Test matches so if the pitch in today's Test match is batting friendly it will help England. If England want to win the fifth Test match to save their honour, they must bat very well and give India a tough target.The way England are batting now, they are batting well, they have already lost two wickets within 100 runs, but Jack Crowley is giving them hope.

I never expected Shubhman Gill to take the catch of Duckett as that was not an ordinary catch. India was able to break the opening partnership because of that catch. The second wicket was another amazing wicket keeping by Jurel. Not to forget both wickets were taken by Kuldeep Yadav. When none of the bowlers work Kuldeep comes up some kind of balls that forces the batter to commit and lose their wickets.

This series stands at 3-1 in the favor of India and they have already won the series. This can be one factor where we might see India a bit reluctant as they have in the back of their mind that they have won the series already. However, i guess Indian fans would be more pleased to see 4-1 after the end of the series rather than 3-2.

By the way, you can check the consistency for  Zak Crawley in this test series and he already crossed 400 runs in the series. Though this series may not be good for the England team but for him, it is a memorable one. He is achieving his own milestones and the England team will be hoping to also achieve a winning milestone in this test match.

I saw the scoreboard of the Australia vs India match before Dharmashala's pitch. And I think this pitch helps the batsmen in the first innings. High scores are possible on this pitch in the first innings. But gradually the pitch started to slow down, helping the bowlers on this pitch on the third and fourth day. And this is why I would say that if England want to win the fifth Test, they must play well in the first innings. If they fail to score high in the first innings, like the fourth Test match, England will lose this match.

If these two batsmen can stay at the crease, it will not be a difficult task for England to collect 350+.

Ben Stokes failed to add any runs to the scoreboard today. Root returned to the dressing room with 26 runs and Bairstw 29 runs.

I don't expect much from England in today's match. If England lose all wickets less than 300 then England will definitely be defeated. Indian players are in very good form. Ben Foakes and Tom Hartley's partnership must be prolonged. Otherwise it will not be possible for England to collect big.

This might be the worst England team for test cricket, again the middle order collapsed. I was expecting them to get to 400 runs as the pitch is good for batting. Now, if they will be able to get 250 runs is doubtful, all thanks to Kuldeep Yadav who has a fifer now. Ashwin playing his 100th test cricket got 2 wickets while Jadeja got 1 wicket. Shiraj and Bhumrah were getting good swing in the early hours but they were not able to utilize it. I do not think Floakes and Bashir would be able to continue till tea.

First day batting track, You've won the toss, batting first and you were 100/1. From there you still managed to bundle up cheaply. It was poor show from the English middle order, they struggled in this series and today's performance was no different. Wonderful bowling effort from India, the pitch is good to bat on but never judge a pitch until both teams batted at least once.

Bairstow must be the worst player to play 100 test matches.

England batted well from the first, but after the dismissal of Jonny Bairstow for the fourth wicket, the English camp called the collapse of wickets. England lost seven wickets to collect the last 43 runs, England's first innings stopped at 218 runs. Apart from Crawley's individual 79 runs, no other batsman could take the lead. Indian spinner bowled really well. Kuldeep took 5 wickets, Ashwin took 4 wickets and Jajeda took one wicket. India will be batting in a while, India top order batsmen are in great form, hope they will put up a good batting display and take a big lead.

We got another proof of how strong India is on their own soil in this match today. Watching England batting first in today's match no one could have imagined that England would eventually be bowled out for 218 runs. Ravichandran Ashwin and Kuldev Yadav were the biggest contributors to England's 218 all out in the fifth Test between England and India. These two Indian spin bowlers have crushed England's batting line-up today. Kuldeep Yadav's five-wicket haul against England in today's match made him the fourth five-wicket haul in his Test career.

India have already started their first innings batting they are currently 1 run in 0.5 overs maybe this match will be much easier for India. If the England team had a talented and famous spin bowler like India, then maybe the Indian batsmen would have had spin problems in this match, like the England batsmen had spin problems in today's match.

The England team is going to face India today in the fifth and final Test match of the series. England started the series with a fantastic win in the first match. But even then England lost three matches in a row and lost the series as well. England lost every match due to poor batting. The batsmen are not able to do well against the Indian bowlers on this Indian pitch.

In the last match we saw that the England players batted well in the first innings. They collected 353 runs. But in the second innings England team lost all the wickets to collect only 145 runs. and gave a target of only 192 runs. It is impossible to win against India by giving such a small target. Naturally, India won very easily.

India team played against Australia on this pitch of Dharmashala in 2017. And India won the match by 8 wickets. It is difficult to bat well in the second innings on this pitch. If the batsmen of England bat badly in this match as in the previous matches, then the team will lose the series 4-1. The batsmen must play well if England are to win.

The host India will take on England today in the fifth and final Test match of the series. Team India has already lost three out of four matches and won three consecutive matches to seal the series. The win-loss of the fifth Test match will not affect the series win as India has already won the series. Having won three matches in a row, Team India is much ahead of England in terms of confidence. Team India will look to perform in the fifth and final T20 match as they have done in the last three matches. If the performance is normal then the result of the fifth Test match is more likely to go in favor of India.

England team is going to be defeated in today's match out of the last three matches. England's batsmen did not think that they would bat so badly in today's match. I was hoping that in the last match maybe England's experienced batsmen could play well and finish the series 3-2. But now it looks like the series will end at 4-1.

England lost their fourth wicket for 175 runs. And England's innings stopped at 218 runs. England lost 7 wickets to collect 43 runs. We never expected England's veteran batting order to bat like this.

Zak Crawley scored the highest for England. Besides, no other batsman could bat well.

What a fail from England middle order once again, 100 for 2 and 218 all out. I thought England would play better due to Dharamshala having temperature like their home country but nope.

Crawley played good, he has played some good innings throughout this series but have failed to convert them to hundred every time.

IMO, there should have been someone with quick reflexes on silly point, Sarfraz dropped two catches there. In big matches it can matter a lot.

BTW, Dharmshala outfield looks beautiful, it looks like it's decorated with boxes.

Unless batting collapse happens like it happened with England, I expect India to give easy 200+ runs lead, they don't have any pressure to win this match so they gonna play more freely — no fear, no fearful results.

Jaiswal's consistency in the test format these days is truly extraordinary. Am expecting the Indians to end up giving a lead of around 100 or more.

Jaiswal's Test career got off to a flying start. Has played only nine Tests so far, batting in 16 innings. He touched the 1000 run milestone in his short career. Jaiswal has 4 fifties, two double hundreds, three centuries in his career. Jaiswal in particular has batted brilliantly in this series, he has scored 712 runs in this series so far.

India finished the first day very well, India are 83 runs behind England so far. India's team score is 135/1. Rohit Sharma will start next day on the field with 52 runs, Gill 26 runs. If India can maintain the batting performance we saw today, I expect them to take a lead of over 200 runs.

India is in a very comfortable position after day 1 in the 5th test match between India and England. Indian spinners bowled beautifully and took all 10 wickets. Apart from Zak Crawley, no other England batter was able to read them and score some runs. England got out on a below-par total on this pitch, and they have to work hard to get a favourable result out of this test. 
India is currently scored 135 runs at the cost of Jaiswal's wicket. Sharma looks in great touch, and so does Shubman. By the look of it, India will win this match easily.
