Sri Lanka have currently lost nine wickets and have taken only 49 runs. I think the lowest score of this ICC World Cup series is going to be today. Even though most of the people thought that India will win today but I did not expect such a bad performance from Sri Lanka. There is no doubt that India is once again going to top the points table ranking. Currently, South Africa is at the top of the points table ranking after playing seven matches and winning six and India has won seven out of seven matches with this match.

Not much can be expected from Sri Lanka in the match against India. I think you must not have forgotten the Asia Cup match in a span of few days where the match was over before it started. Sri Lanka have done fairly well against other opponents in the tournament but whenever they came up against India, they seemed unable to do anything for India. At one time I was watching the score of this match and saw that Sri Lanka had lost four wickets for three runs. If five players of a team are out for 0 runs then we can say 50 runs is a sufficient collection. 

Such matches will bring nothing but disrepute to the organizers and the ICC. Whenever one opponent performs like this against another, people question the cricketing knowledge of that team.

I also think that the winning streak of India might end against South Africa in the group stage. I think Sri Lanka's poor performance as well as poor decision-making played a major role in India's win. After winning the toss, Sri Lanka should have batted themselves. Giving batting to a strong batting attack like India turned out to be a very wrong decision. The mistake that New Zealand made yesterday was also made by Sri Lanka and seeing a target like a mountain in front of them, their batsmen were under pressure from the beginning.
