Sri Linka very bad start of 1st innings113/8 to 171/10 target is brilliant. I think A very good comeback from the Sri Lankan tail enders bowlers in this match and the especially from Theekshana scored 38*. But i think its still a poor total just 171. Maheesh Theekshana get wicket of Rachin Ravindra New Zealand are 92-2 in 14 overs. Now New Zealand will have to chase 172 target as fast as possible beacuse they secure their place in the 4th position and increase chances of qualifying at world cup semi-final.

They were 113/8 when Chamika Karunaratne got out. Then Maheesh Theekshana and Dushmantha Chameera took them to 128/9. At this point New Zealand should have restricted Sri Lanka to 140. But Theekshana and Dilshan Madushanka took them to decent total. Due to this good bowling, the Srilankan team never looked up and eventually lost by a big margin.
