Afghanistan's 7-wicket loss today has put the team under serious threat. Shariful Islam of Bangladesh lost four wickets for just 21 runs in 9 overs. I think management really want to take risk because such kind of chances to youngers may give him confidence and experience through which they can survive in international tournaments because after legend retirement they will be the only for this spot.

Never thought that they would face such a bad batting disaster in the third match. The match was completely one-sided. Shoriful managed to pick up 4 wickets. Sakib took 1 wicket giving away 13 runs in 10 overs. Even then, Bangladesh lost 3 wickets to bat for the target of 127 runs. We saw bad batting as usual from Shanto and Naim. But Liton has probably returned to form. He was unbeaten on 53 runs. Sakib's innings of 39 runs was also necessary.

After losing the first two matches in a row, there was a big fear that Bangladesh would be whitewashed. Basically, to protect their honor, there was no option to win today. Bangladesh entered the field against Afghanistan today with three changes in the plan. 

Mustafizur Rahman Ebadat Hossain,Hasan Mahmud were replaced by Shariful Islam Taskin Ahmed and Taijul Islam who bowled brilliantly against Afghanistan. The three players who were substituted together picked up eight wickets. In other words, the biggest contribution behind the victory of this match is the contribution of these three bowlers.

Even though Bangladesh lost the ODI series to Afghanistan, Bangladeshi fans can definitely hope for the T20 series because Shakib Al Hasan will be the captain of the T20 team.

Whitewash is avoided, but I really don't think that this consolation win would do anything to improve their reputation. Bangladesh did well during the ODI Super League by finishing at the 3rd position. They won a total of 15 matches out of 24 (although many of the wins were achieved at home, under helpful pitch conditions). Whatever they achieved during the ODI Super League is under the threat of getting erased. The upcoming Asia Cup and ODI World Cup will be crucial for Bangladesh to showcase the improvement they made in the ODI format.

In today's match team Afghanistan didn't play well and they batsmen were totally playing like mediocre game in this match. The Bangladeshi team finally won a 1 match out of 3 ODI matches against Afghanistan and that's a really thumbs up for the team, but in their previous matches the team Bangladesh disappointed many fans because of the worse performance in those matches.

I agree that Afghanistan lost this match because they were incapable of scoring good runs in this match and that's why they have lost this match. However, I still hope that they will play better in the coming matches because the team is a good one. Their T20 matches will be really amazing because both teams are quite good at ground and the both teams have many fans who want them to have victory in the matches.
