Exactly West Indies team is much stronger as compare to the United Arab Emirates team. In the first ODI match we saw how West Indies perform and won the match. UAE team gave the target of 203 runs and I was thinking that this is not enough for the West Indies team. And West Indies team chased the in 35 overs and gave only 3 wickets. Lets wait for the next ODI.

West Indies is far much better side then UAE, while UAE team is composed of players from sub-continent. UAE team was not even able to play there full quota of 50 overs and were bowled out for 202 runs in 48 overs. West Indies was in complete control of the match from first ball. Brandon King scored 112 runs on 112 balls. UAE bowlers were able to pick only 3 wickets. I am very much sure WIndies will win all 3 ODIs.

West Indies are much stronger than UAE. The West Indies team is able to defeat the biggest teams in the world, where the UAE team will take on the West Indies is not credible. But the team is able to perform very well than before, the players of the team are growing up day by day.

West Indies is already leading the ODI series against the UAE (1-0). I don't think the UAE will be able to actually do anything against the West Indies who are far more stronger compared to the UAE. We have already seen a glimpse of the power that the West Indies has over the UAE. UAE was not able to even play out the whole 50 overs. They did not have many meaningful partnerships. They had only one individual score to actually talk about.

I think the whole series is going to go like this where the West Indies will dominate and the UAE will try. But actually fail to have any meaningful impact. Maybe if instead of hiring players from another country if they actually started looking for talent in their own country they would have found good enough talented players by now.

I watched the 50-over match between Namibia and Karnataka yesterday on Fancode. Turned out to be an exciting one. The first match was won by Karnataka with a big margin and the win yesterday allowed Namibia to level the series at 1-1. Karnataka batted first, and made 360/4 in 50 overs. In return, Namibia started slowly, but chased down the target with one ball to spare. And this is not a full strength Karnataka squad, as almost all of their capped players were missing. Ravikumar Samarth was the captain and yesterday Nikin Jose and Revanna Chethan made centuries. For Namibia, Michael van Lingen made 104, while the captain Gerhard Erasmus got out for 91.

It was amazing to watch yesterday 50 over encounter between Namibia and Karnataka on Fancode. Despite a resounding victory for Karnataka in the opening match Namibia managed to tie the series at one game each. The stage was set by Karnataka who despite being without the most of their seasoned players posted an amazing score of 360/4 in their allotted 50 overs. Nikin Jose and Revanna Chethan both put in outstanding performances for Karnataka under the captaincy of Ravikumar Samarth scoring wonderful century. But despite a sluggish start Namibia put on an outstanding chase winning with just one ball left and five wickets left to fall. The important players in Namibia victory were captain Gerhard Erasmus brilliant performance of 91 runs off 67 balls and Michael van Lingen outstanding innings of 104 runs off 85 deliveries.

The match was certainly very interesting. It was also good to see that Namibia actually won the match in the end. It was a great chase from them. Michael van Lingen and Gerhard Erasmus perform really well for Namibia. Chetan and Nikin Jose perform really well for Karnataka. The thing is Namibia was actually able to keep up with the run rate. Otherwise, they wouldn't have been able to win.

Of course, the strike rate of the batsmen were also good. This was a victory that should be celebrated by Namibia. Certainly a hard-fought victory for them. Not going to say anything about the bowling of any side because this was a flat track.

Who like me is looking forward to watch the 3rd ODI between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan on 7th June. Hope this third ODI will be very exciting. First you will see that Afghanistan played very well in their bowling action and batting action to beat Sri Lanka on their home soil. But Sri Lanka turned around in the second ODI, they won the toss and decided to bat, SriLanka's top order batsmen did well and scored big runs. Not only in batting, they showed great skill in bowling. They defeated Afghanistan by a big margin of 132 runs.The three-match series is tied at 1-1. The last match of the series will be held on June 7. Will Sri Lanka win the series on home soil or Afghanistan? I think Sri Lanka will have the last laugh.

UAE won the toss and put into bat and scored 53 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 12 overs. Their opening batting failed, Mohammad Wasim was dismissed for 0 runs from 2 balls, Aryansh Sharma was dismissed for 5 runs from 5 balls. Ramiz Shahzad was hurt after scoring 12 runs off 25 balls. Vriitya Aravind is unbeaten with 20 runs off 40 balls. UAE is under a lot of pressure as the wicket falls first. West Indies are bowling very well. Today's game West Indies will perform well and I think West Indies can win today.

Only 0 runs for 1 wickets at second ball. UAE then lost two wickets for 25 runs, but so far they have collected 146 runs for 6 wickets. What do you think is the maximum score of UAE in today's match? I think the score will be 200 runs.

The UAE team is now quite a strong team. I expected better performance from UAE players in today's match. But the performance of the UAE batsmen was not good enough. UAE mustered 185 runs after 45 overs. UAE's two openers did not get off to a good start. Had the two openers been able to play well, maybe UAE could have collected big today. Even then, if UAE is able to provide a target of 230-240 runs then the UAE team will be able to fight for the win. Although West Indies are a strong team, the performance of their players is not regular.

My guess was fairly accurate, I commented that the UAE could collect as many as 200 runs. 2 runs more than my estimate and UAE are all out for 202 runs. However, West Indies are likely to win today's match. Always keep an eye on our active thread for updates on the next match.

A target of 203 runs is not enough to win. Had the two UAE openers batted a bit better, the UAE team could have provided a decent target today. However, I don't think UAE will win against West Indies. Still thought the UAE team will fight hard to win today's match. But this possibility also declined after the batsmen's poor performance. West Indies collected 58 runs after 12 overs. They lost only one wicket. West Indies need only 145 runs in 38 overs. It will not be a tough task for West Indies.

Yes, a target of just 202 runs is not enough to win an ODI match. because there are 300 balls in 50 overs. even if any team score 1 run per ball on an average here, it becomes 300 runs. so a target of 300+ runs is definitely needed to win an ODI match. UAE set a target of 202 runs in 47.1 overs, but West Indies completed that target in just 35.2 overs. so even if UAE set a target of 300 runs, I think West Indies were capable of winning the match against UAE

But Kimo Paul of West Indies took 3 wickets with 34 runs in 7.1 overs. Kimo Paul bowled very well.

If UAE and WI can play in UAE why can't India? Thinking about the hybrid model! PCB should have waited for the reply before going all guns blazing on BCCI. I wanted to see India and Pakistan match. None of you can deny these two teams playing against each other has now become a dream. Come on, tell me when was the last time we saw them playing a test match.

This is not good sign for fans of cricket. The only way BCCI can get an thumping answer is by removing Najam Sethi and never allowing Ramiz to be part of PCB. Being heroic on TV would never solve PCB issue. Pakistan needs to be a part of Asia cup and only by defeating India in the Asia cup they will give an astounding face palm on Jay Shah & BCCI.

Yes, South Africa have improved their performance a lot. and because of that they beat Sri Lanka as well. While Sri Lanka scored just 264 after completing the full 50 overs, South Africa won the match by beating the target in 41 overs.  Although Sri Lanka managed to keep their wickets throughout, they only wasted the ball and could not improve much due to this. But South Africa were very clever and they saved their wickets as well as collected a lot of good runs

I would not say that the Sri Lankan team is weak. The Sri Lankan team is still quite strong. But there is no consistency in the performance of their players now. All the players in the squad are quite talented. But there is not a single player in the squad who is able to consistently perform well. Sri Lanka lost all wickets for just 268 runs in the first match against Afghanistan. And in the very next match, they made a huge collection of 323. If they had been able to collect more than 280 in the first match, maybe Afghanistan would not have won so easily. If the Sri Lankan players do not play consistently, I do not expect anything good from this team in the next World Cup.

The chances of UAE winning against West Indies were slim. But in the last few matches, we have seen a good performance from UAE. So we had high expectations from the UAE players in this series. UAE was badly defeated in the first match. If West Indies win the toss and bat, then at least they will give a target of 350 runs. Because UAE bowlers performance is not good.

I honestly hope that Afghanistan will be able to win the third ODI because that is going to make things a lot more interesting. There will also be a conversation that will come forward which is if Sri Lanka is a good enough team anymore or not. Though Afghanistan are underdog team, I really want to see them win the 3rd ODI against Sri Lanka.

Whoever the winner, I prefer the match to be fighting for win. The match shouldn't go in an one sided manner similar to the second ODI. The third ODI takes place tomorrow. In the second match Sri Lanka played well. It was like they took it very seriously and performed in the match. If they play in the similar manner, then without doubt the match is going to be a win for Sri Lanka. Some people always prefer the underdog to be the winner, here also this is the mentality with the above person.

The second ODI between United Arab Emirates and West Indies will be played today. I have mixed feeling about this match. There were a few supporters of West Indies present in the stadium during the first ODI, but not a single UAE supporter was present. It was expected, as the "UAE" team doesn't contain any Emiratis. Entire team is comprised of Indian and Pakistani nationals. West Indies agreed to play this ODI series after being promised a huge amount by the Emirates Cricket Board. They will refuse to play against other associates like Nepal and Scotland.
