@Patrol69 you’re talking about the era before T20 came and disrupted everything because 250 - 280 runs was a perfect score for many teams and often we would get results in the last over which was fun to watch. Lastly I’m not sure how the ODI format will evolve because in its current state it’s getting boring to watch it and ICC needs to innovate to make it exciting to watch.

As  before when Sarfaraz Ahmed was the captain in the ODI he was a better captain and regarding it he also bats well. We have seen in the Captaincy of Sarfaraz Ahmed Pakistan has also won many matches. But at some clashes with the PCB he didn't play the cricket for the Pakistan Cricket Team. Sarfraz ahmad is only play test series against Australia they didn't have chance to come back in ODI team beacuse Muhammad Rizwan is playing well. Muhammad Amir is amazing fast bowlers of Pakistan he win many match with his bowling performance but his behaviour is very disappointing Pakistan cricket borad. If PCB asked Muhammad Amir and Imad wasim to take your retirements back they will change their behaviour and performance well to stay in team. I know a lot of people are going to talk trash about me and my opinion, but I honestly think that a big reason why cricket has moved to a certain demographic like this is because of India. Honestly, before India had so much power over the ICC, the rules and everything seemed to actually be in a pretty balanced state. That is also a reason why a lot of great bowlers were being produced by a lot of countries. But now there is no respect for any bowler in this game. Now it is about who is less bad in bowling. And what I am going to say next is not aimed towards India. Because people in general also like to see fours and sixes. Probably that is also a reason why ICC has made so many decisions to actually favour the batsmen in the game.

Yes you are right there was a time when players did a hard performance and reached only 200 around the target but at that time all the teams had the best bowlers who took many wickets and gave the lowest score to them, like Pakistan had Shuaib Akhtar, Shahid Afridi, before them, Imran Khan, Wasim Akram, Srilanka had Malinga and in the same way other teams had also their best players. But now the cricket world is ruled by the batsman they give the highest score and also chase a huge target. A live example in the recent World Cup where Maxwell did 202 runs by himself while he was injured just imagine how a person can do such a big score with an injury. I agree with you that cricket has changed Nowadays. At present the focus is more on the batsmen and their ability to hit sixes and score runs. In the past we have bowlers like Shoaib Akhtar Brett Lee and Dale Steyn who were not only fast bowlers but also have a aggressive bowling style. When they on the pitch they mostly pressurized the batsman.

Being a Pakistani we really miss Shoaib Akhtar. He was a good bowler. I remember that match in which he bowled and the batsman was Sourav Ganguly and Shoaib Akhtar Broke the Ribs of him.

There are a few bowlers who can clock 150 kmph nowadays. Mark Wood, Mitchell Starc, Jasprit Bumrah, Adam Milne, Lockie Ferguson and Anrich Nortje are a few examples. But Lee and Akhtar during those days went up to 155-160 kmph. And they had better skills and wicket taking abilities when compared to the current generation of fast bowlers. Also, the focus has shifted to T20 cricket from test cricket. That means that the bowlers try to be as economical as possible and they are not willing to risk too much to take the wickets.
