If they win today, then West Indies may get a rare win against one of the pig-3 sides. Remember that they recently lost ODI series against Ireland at home. But a rare win doesn't mean any long-term changes. West Indies is on decline, and my concern is that they will end up like Zimbabwe in another 5 years from now, if the trend continues. Nothing seems to be working for them. Younger players are migrating to other countries such as the United States and the United Kingdom, and the remaining ones are busy with various T20 leagues.

When I understood cricket roughly, I understood West Indies as a strong team at that time and now West Indies has become a team like Zimbabwe. Those players don't want to play for the national team who get called for various tournaments but those players play for the national team who don't get a chance to play any franchise tournament. Still there are many talented players in the West Indies team, if West Indies want to improve their cricket then they must increase the facilities of the players and spend money behind the players. With the increase in salary allowances, the players have to prioritize playing various franchise tournaments and organizing regular domestic series only if this team can get back to its former glory.

One of my favorite teams in T20 format is West Indies. This team is still very good in T20 format. At the same time, the West Indies players impressed the audience with excellent performances in the franchise leagues. But very few West Indies players want to perform in the national team jersey. West Indies Cricket Board should be strict on these issues now. There is a need to increase the salaries and benefits of the players. At the same time some strict rules are required. The performance of the players in the national team should be made mandatory. If not, we will see further decline in West Indies team performance in future.

The West Indies Cricket Board was definitely tough on the cricketers and they made a rule that if any player went to play in the franchise tournament during the series they would be banned. Such a statement on behalf of the West Indies Cricket Board, in fact, the players of the West Indies team did not give importance to the matter, and without giving importance to the matter, the West Indies Cricket Board banned all the players from playing in the IPL. Now this all needs a good global debate between Boards and ICC with League organizers as well because if they will not sit on one platform things will be gone from bad to worse for them in coming years even I am not expecting anything positive from the ICC but still relative boards needs to work on this issue and sit with their players for the better future of their national teams otherwise we can expect things like this from many countries which ruin West Indian board.

BCCI and CA are the strongest boards which can handle this all by themselves and other boards are not having finances and strength like them, but they are looking for better and positive things which are important, hopefully all stakeholders will sit and bring better policies and rules for their own and bright future of this game.

When the cricket boards are benefitting from these leagues, it is wrong to harass the players for participating in such leagues. In the past, the CSA has put a lot of obstacles on South African players who wanted to participate in various leagues. Now the PCB is also following the same route. It will be a disaster for West Indian cricket, if the WICB follows the same approach.

No doubt, West Indies is legendary team. West Indian team has big monsters and that kind of players are not present is whole the univers except West Indies. But after winning 2016 World Cup,West Indian Cricket changed the squard for many times and big players were removed from the team like Darin Sammy and Pollard . These two players were the back bone of West Indian Cricket team . And after removing these players , team became very weak . West Indian team didn't perform well in World cup 2021 and West Indian team didn't qualify for World cup 2023.West Indian Cricket board should provide facilities to students and in this way they will be successful.

I am not watching much of ODI after the world cup, but it seems teams started their tours across countries already.

England still needs time to up their morale from what happened in their world cup journey and it much be a devastating few months for them and they are doing okay at the moment but need to do a lot of work to regain what they lost in the last two months.

The second ODI match will be played at the same venue where the first ODI match was played but in this case the toss will play a very important role in the victory. As it is a day-night match, night time can facilitate Dew to bat. However, to win the three-match ODI series, it will be assured if West Indies win today. Look at the England team selection. Do they really expected to win against West Indies, without payers such as Mark Wood, Chris Woakes and Ben Stokes? Before start of this series I was expecting good performance from the England side but just after first match now I am feeling West Indians going to have good practice with these second string bowlers are going to have the worst time into their careers early days because they have nothing to give, and they are going to face the toughest time against Quality batting of home side on batting pitches Same Curran is the best bowler from English side, and he concedes 98 runs with all other bowlers also have bad time with leggy Rehan Ahmed done decent job and having 40 for 2 hopefully after first defeat now they will do something better in their second match even now I am expecting three zero for the West Indies because they are much better than visitors in this series and can improve their ICC ranking as well.

But the current scenario is telling the story differently, 4 wickets down for 23 runs and this has been the common issue with WI team for years now, and they still need a long way to go from their current status and they need to learn from teams like AFG in my opinion.

But good is now the partnership from captain is steadying the sinking ship and this is a positive sign for them so this will inspire the team a lot when such performance is coming from their captain.

In this game, England team bowling effort was brilliant and they dismissed all team of West Indies at 202 runs only in 39.4 overs. England team already lose first game from West Indies team and now they have highly chance of winning this match and lead this series 1 by 1 game, then this series depend on last game. At present time, H.Brook and J.buttler showed their batting lineup skills on pitch, H.brook scored 13 runs in 22 balls and J.Buttler also scored 13 runs in 14 balls. England team needs 73 runs in  26.4 overs for winning this game.

Was surprised that West Indies were able to chase a total above 325 in the first match and win the match and i was expecting a good match when they faced earlier today, but it was a different West Indies team that showed up as they struggled to get 200 runs on the board and lost the match easily.
