change the algo to X11 or X13 and there will be many miners. Apparently my 2 x 280x mini rig is not sufficient enough to keep the network running and I can't keep it running too long without mining any coins. It's running too hot (95 degrees or so)

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I think scrypt is better...

Scrypt is fine.

There is a bounty for a block explorer. If you can make one then please contact me.

Anybody who would like to mine this coin, you have great opportunity now. I was able to keep the coin running since the morning and I'm finding all blocks which is not good because when I turn off my PC, all coins will be lost as no other node will synchronize the blockchain with me. We desperately need seed nodes to be running 24/7 at least for the beginning. It seems that with constant mining speed (in my case cca 200Kh/s) the KGW has slowly lowered difficulty to cca 0.00294309 now and it runs very smooth now. So if you want to take piece of pie, I advice you to lower hashrate to somewhat 100-500 kh/s so that the difficulty doesn't spike to heaven and the network gets stuck again. I think this was the main problem yesterday that the few of us were too greedy and tried to take all blocks with as high hashrate as possible and after not finding any blocks (because network got stuck) everybody left away. But I returned. Smiley I was initially running with 2x280 on cca 1400Kh/s and temperature was over 95 degrees nonstop. Now I run only on 1 card 200kh/s with default sgminer setting and temperature cca 65 degrees.

Here are my addnodes so please update your conf file first:

addnode=151.224.88.7
addnode=213.122.107.7
addnode=109.73.173.39
addnode=80.178.27.83
addnode=94.22.41.45
addnode=188.167.248.231

You are right thanks for this, because the new network is so small it's stopping and starting. If we can keep our wallets open for as long as possible and provide new addnodes then this will help. When this gets more popular it will not be an issue.

Actually we are rolling on. Now block 51038. Don't forget to update your conf file as above. I keep my node up 24/7 now till GrcDev establishes some permanent seed node.

Pls use bigger font next time. I had problems to read what you wrote. Smiley  Why don't you just start mining when diff is low? I'm mining with 200Kh/s alone last 24 hours, so well, thank you for all the blocks. I'm keeping also my PC online 24/7 for the time being so that network can live. I can decrease hashrate to 10Kh/s just by mining via wallet if you don't have any GPU.

sorry i know you can read it, but I'm not sure if dev can  Wink
I dont have GPU and I've been mining and getting some blocks but just 15 block is the last 24 hours...

Well with 3Kh/s finding 15 blocks is quite nice achievement Smiley Man, you need something faster. During the next 12 hours I will turn off GPU and mine just with laptop to keep 1 node online so you have chance to mine some more blocks. The only problem with changing speeds so dramatically is that the KGW retargeting doesn't change difficulty so quickly. So when I start mining with 5Kh/s instead of current cca 100Kh/s, it will take several hours to decrease difficulty so much that even with slow CPU you can find blocks quickly. Actually I already was able to decrease diff quite nicely yesterday by lowering GPU speed every few blocks but today somebody jumped on the network with some gpu on full speed and difficulty jumped up way too much. We simply need more miners so that distribution of hashpower is more even, now the network is very sensitive to these spikes.

No need for the big font!

There is a 5000 GRCE (subject to negotiation) for a block explorer

There is a 10000 GRCE (subject to negotiation) for a GRCE Pool.

Please remember, i do have a life, family etc, i will not be glued to this screen for 24 hours a day.

More bounties are available.

GreeceCoin: can you contact this maxminers pool, it seems they are still running grc domain but the pool just can't connect to wallet. probably they need to resynchronize wallet but first we will need seed node because I don't want to keep my laptop running nonstop

Rw13enlib88: I have switched off gpu, so now I mine with two laptops, alltogether cca 12Kh/s. I think I'm alone now so it's chance to mine more blocks with CPU if you want. It will take some time few hours till diff drops cca 3-5x so that blocks are found quicker. Just hope no GPU starts mining in next 12 hours Smiley
