Ok the wallet is synced with 8 active connections which is better, so again thank you to the members who are contributing to the network, as it gets bigger it will become more stable.

Im still waiting for Pool Operators but no contact back at this moment.

Well a http download for the blockchain wouldnt hurt to make it easier to get this running again...

... its my mint/node computer will be on 24/7 ...

good luck ...

to dev :

... the thing what really makes a coin useable are mobile wallets ... so that should be on top of to do list ...
a coin will only survive if normal tec stupid people can use it .. aka mobile ...
and the need for an alternative currency is there in greece ...

So id contact

https://twitter.com/yanisvaroufakis or via his blog http://yanisvaroufakis.eu/form/

Id argument he would have leverage in the EU finace negotiations, if he is officially announcing a cryptocurrency to be an additional accepted payment in greece nationwide.

He is very smart ... maybe you could get funding for development or something else ... worth a try Wink

greetings

Thanks for your input, i agree mobile wallets are very important and it is something which will become a top priority. As you can see getting the network stable, pool and block explorer is first. I welcome your input.

Greececoin will make contact with yanis varoufakis, i think he is very genuine and open to alot of new ideas and possibilities.

GreeceCoinDev: how many coins were already distributed to greek citizens in the past? I'm lazy to read the whole forum from beginning. Please summarize what has already been done regarding the air drop in the past and what was not and why?

There were under 25 transactions of 32 coins to each Greek person who applied through the application process via website. When things are running smoothly new ideas can begin about distribution.

This message is for a miner with over 15Mh rig or asic. If you want to mine this coin, please keep mining nonstop or decrease speed or leave because you come here just for 1-2 hours everyday and you kill the network for next 24 hours. The diff jumps x10 and it goes down very slowly. The KGW retargeting is not good here. So why don't you slow down speed to max 500kh/s and the network is stable and you will mine the same amount of blocks as with over 15Mh. There are just 3 miners currently, me, YOU and the other guy with some 3Kh/s CPU. And you are killing it all. So either stop mining this coin completely or adopt to current "emergency" mode. Otherwise all your quickly mined coins you can dump to toilet if everybody leaves this coin not being able to mine a shit when the DIFF stays too high.

I'm just repeating now what I wrote recently. Pleaaaaaase, don't rape this poor coin with over 2,5Mh rig. There is no need. Just decrease the speed to some 100Kh and you will get the same amount of coins. I have reduced my speed to 100Kh on my R280x so that CPU miners can find some block and now again some dirtbag is killing the network and the diff jumped from 0.004 to 0.04 so 10 times. Without pool or DigiShield, this coin will have really hard times surviving.

we need something like this
https://guldencoin.com/request

Every Greek citizen can request 100 Greececoin for free. To be eligible for the 100 Greececoin you need a Greek phone number, an emailaddress and a Greececoin address. By downloading the Greececoin wallet you generate a unique Greececoin wallet-address. A request is processed within 72 hours.

This is crazy, somebody must be really either totally stupid or extremely greedy (but rather extremely stupid) putting 17Mh hashrate on this coin mining just alone. I have mined for the last few days shitload of blocks with cca 100-200 Kh/s and minimum electricity consumption and still gave a chance to little cpu miners to find some block and this asshole is now taking all blocks, wasting god knows how much electricity and for what. Dude, those coins you can flush to toilet if you leave the network with high diff, nobody will continue mining with such high hashrate. So I kindly ask you to be a hero and keep running your gpu farm or asic for at least next 7 days so that the network can work normally.

If bitcoinmining riggs could buy miningriggs with bitcoin by themselves wouldnt that be asexual reproduction ? So wouldnt that make BTC a lifeform ?
