Magnolia is like playing small ball because they are quick and JMF is a disadvantage on that. If SMB could not hit their shots outside, they might struggle again because the paint will be clogged and Magnolia are just too aggressive in grabbing rebounds and defending the ball. It seems like Magnolia hasn't settled on the 3 point shooting, they keep on attacking the paint so they'll get a high percentage shot and their energy will remain high.

Big win by SMB, they can't dominate the Magnolia anymore but they came up with a great strategy this game. Making Boatwright more of a defender than a shooter works well for SMB. Expect the same strategy will be made in game 6 Boatwright and Fajardo has been huge on the floor with getting rebounds. As long as the 3 point shooters of SMB are clicking, winning should be on their favor.

They now have a lot of 3 point shooters and it's hard to predict on who will get hot.

Yeah, Cruz is a complete package a smart player who can bring both help either offense or defense he can contribute, same eith Encizo and Trollano they are smart players who's always ready to contribute whatever the designated role the coach will call for them, I like the outside shot when you know that your big man is letting you to build your confidence, Boatwright and Fajardo are doing it well, if you leave them free they'll take the shot while if they attract the defense they will kick it out and let the shooters to take it, good that they are bagging and not wasting the opportunities. Yeah, Jericho Cruz needs to duplicate his output in game 5 to close out the series in game 6. If not, they are in big trouble as Bennie Boatwright is struggling with his 3-point shooting here in the last three games.

After seeing the 5 games of the series, I am more inclined this time to bet on Magnolia to win the series because the Beermen seem to live and die on their shooting from the outside that seldom they go to their big man in Junemar Fajardo to create an opening for those wide open 3's.

I won game 5 as i bet for the Beermen but i think i'm going to bet for Magnolia ML this coming Wednesday.

If Jericho didn't shoot well, SMB might struggle because Boatwright was already lock down on offense, probably at least 50% was down based on his performance. Magnolia don't settle a lot on 3 point shooting, I like their style of playing as they seemed to be very aggressive and always go for a high percentage shot.

This made me thinking about my bet in game 6 since I'm still believing that SMB will take the win and cover the spread. In terms of rebounding, there's no big disparity although SMB had the advantage. I think the turning factor here was really the good 3 point shooting of Cruz.
