Fajardo delivered a phenomenal performance, scoring 40 points and securing 20 rebounds, preventing a near disaster against Converge. However, they need to elevate their game as Ginebra poses a different challenge in the semi-finals.

That kind of score is reallt an mvp material, if SMB have a chance for finals, I think Fajardo will be named as MVP again. SMB line up is kinda powerhouse I just dont like some of their players who are always into trouble and so boastful lile Terrence romeo and Jericho Cruz. They got their fair issues on some players of Converge like Stockton and Cabagnot.

They’ll definitely face a tougher opponent in the next series, and with their import not being as impressive, JMF is taking on most of the load. It could turn into a long series, but I think Ginebra has the edge since JMF might wear down if he continues carrying his team.

When it comes to the MVP, JMF is the clear choice. The import competition is separate, so Brownlee and JMF should win different awards. It’s going to be exciting as the semis begin tomorrow!

I'm really surprised how Converge was able to win 2 straight games and made a do-or-die game because San Miguel Beermen was able to win it on their 3rd game, but they still lost 2 games afterward. A lot of people lost and a lot of people lost a lot of money because of extremely high odds, no one expected Converge will able to win 2 games against top team San Miguel Beermen.
Stockton and Cabagnot played well, sad for them they lost.

Yeah they played well but both of them are also the last players who made that big mistake, a crucial error from the inbound pass of Stockton to Cabagnot, that's something huge I don't know if that's a honest mistake or just part of the drama hahaha, kidding aside, lots of gamblers lost their money for sure as most of them favor SMB from that 2 stright loses, and the last one for sure there are gamblers who bet early and take that handicap if I remember it right that's something like -8.5.

Yup, JBL really got that magic touch leading his team to several titles and we do witness it since he became the main stay import of Gin kings.

This is possible, boss might try to play us, but since it’s a 50-50 matchup, I’m sure we won’t end up like the SMB vs Converge quarterfinals where many bettors probably fell into the trap. JMF has recently improved his shooting, and he just keeps getting better despite his age. His dominance is still clear. When JMF is healthy, he’s a huge asset to the team. But Ginebra, man... this team is just tough as long as Brownlee is healthy too.

SMB struggled big time, and they were vocal about missed calls, especially Chris Ross, who got a technical for it. But hey, it's just Game 1, there’s a lot more to come, and I’m sure this will be a long series. Keep an eye on the line movement like that, and my gut says SMB takes Game 2, and the total will still go over.

I think Ginebra is a tough one too since their pro star Brownlee is their lethal enemy when it comes to inside and outside shooting. These two making a good tag team during Gilas Pinas fight, but its another story when they are on different uniform.

Even Ginebra's locals are stepping up with Brownlee playing fewer minutes, so SMB needs to figure out how to handle the favored Ginebra if they want to push this series longer. I can't believe SMB is struggling this much either. What they showed against Converge might have been a warning that they can't keep up with Ginebra. If SMB wants to turn this around, they have to win in Game 2 or Game 3, because being down 3-0 is pretty much a wrap. The tough part is that Brownlee doesn’t even look 100% healthy, but he’s still lighting them up from outside. I think he’s already hit 4 or 5 from the 4-point range, and that alone is hard to accept.

Great decision! I guess we just have to wait and see if Ginebra and TNT end up facing each other in the finals. Since Ginebra won Game 1, they have a strong chance of advancing. Based on stats, the Game 1 winner has over a 50% chance of winning the series. Looks like Ginebra's in a good position!

I will only bet on the first game tomorrow which is TNT Tropang Giga vs Rain or Shine with of course -3.5 on TNT Tropang Giga, 1.89 odds is not bad already.

Hahaha that's  the best advantage that they've got though they are playing against their own so maybe they won't go to that line, gin kings as we know them, when JBL played well surely everyone will have that same tempo,  I like those outside shooting 5/5 from the 4points area and 3/6 from the 3points line hahaha,  so easy when watching JBL throwing the ball while SMB's import trying so hard going inside penetrating the defense 😄 😆
