Atletico Bilbao exactly have good chance when got penalty kick last minute but Thibaut Courtois make brilliant save although he try catch on left side but his leg can save penalty kick by Raul Garcia, I think is very amazing save made by Thibaut Courtois how ever Madrid have played with ten player after Militao got red card, if penalty kick success maybe have different thing game play by Atletico Bilbao. I am sorry to hear about painful of Barcelona fans right now because this season its not your with bad performance and elimination from champion league make all Barcelona fans most painful and try how to make this season ended as soon possible  

The strange thing for me in La Liga is to get used to seeing red cards a lot. Now I know it's common enough in the past especially because of players pretending and thrashing around a lot but it feels to me more like these days the red cards are dangerous. Even Barca I remember for the past 2 seasons have been having increased sending offs from frustration.

I think that the Super Cup match between Real Madrid and Athletic Bilbao really deserved to end by the extra time. But Real Madrid finished their job in 90 minutes by 2-0. Actually Athletic Bilbao could have equalized the score if they didn't miss the penalty. The last moments would be very exciting after that and maybe they could have made it 2-2. But anyway, I would like to appreciate Real Madrid's big effort also and they deserved to win the Super Cup title.

Real Madrid has just confirmed one trophy. And I think they can easily win a few more trophies if they want to. The draw I think is really not worth it because in fact, Madrid really dominated the match and even if the penalty kick for Bilbao were to score a goal it still wouldn't change anything because after all Madrid deserved to win in normal time. By the way, it was really good to watch the Betis - Sevilla match in the Copa del Rey also. Both teams played quite well but Betis had nearly double the shots Sevilla had. But they were bad at finding the target in terms of percentage. However, they still scored 2 of their 4 shots on target and managed to defeat and eliminate Sevilla also by a 2-1 result. Sevilla scored the first goal of the match and Betis made a really nice comeback. But if Sevilla won the match, I would have said that they deserved it too. Big effort from both sides.

Courtois once again saved Real Madrid by his insane keeping skills. Maybe that penalty could have changed the events of the match as one goal scored changes the morale and motivation of both the teams. But Real Madrid played really well IMO - they played as a 'team' that's what the fans want to see.

I mean you could be right though. I think if we compare La Liga to EPL, maybe EPL has a lot fewer red cards or direct red cards. Maybe a big reason why La-Liga had more red cards is because of Sergio Ramos don't you think?

But I personally still bet for Sevilla to win the next match against Valencia. Sevilla has really great work so far and they will struggle very much moreover the points gap to Real Madrid is small enough.

That's just a possibility and not necessarily true in the end. Remember, Barcelona had a higher probability of winning than Granada last week but in the end the match ended in a draw. So even though Sevilla are ahead in this match, there is no guarantee that one of them will win in this match.

Sevilla have good form so far in Laliga so they might be favorites in this match but Valencia are also not an easy team to beat so Sevilla of course have to be careful with them because winning is not about how the probabilities are determined but how the team can create a lot of chances and score a goal.

Barca as I was saying had generated a lot of yellows and reds themselves in the last couple of season, even surprising me. Perhaps the level of physicality has increased, or players were extra tired in a very stretched out two seasons of Covid postponements? Not easy to play and not foul a lot when you're just so exhausted.

I hope the Madrid management is able to manage everything so that they stay healthy and can compete in the league and UCL. This year may be an easier year for the Liga as Barcelona are weaker. So this is an opportunity for Madrid to win the Liga title. Maybe Madrid need to immediately prepare options for their old players. Maybe if they want Haaland or Mbappe that's not right, they better look for a replacement for Luca Modric because he's very old, although he's still good this season.

I agree with you. Although Real Madrid will be the favorite team to win the match 'Athletic Club vs Real Madrid', they can be defeated if they cannot play seriously and solidly. Athletic Club also can beat Real Madrid if they cannot focus and have too much confidence. These factors are very possible to happen since we don't know what to happen in the upcoming match. I really hope that both Real Madrid and Atletic Club play with their best, no team plays underperform.
