Much eyes on Barcelona and Xavi Hernandez, failing to realize he just came in and ain't no magician.
Take a good look at Athletico Madrid who should be dominating the La liga, they have failed woefully,game's after game's.
They should try to keep up else Barcelona will come ahead of them in a short time.
They must have lost drive.

Barcelona was in a terrible state before tht arrival of Xavi. And he is just trying his possible best to put Barca back on track. But, what people don't understand is that this will take some time. Atletico Madrid performance are poor, they lost all their last 4 matches, and one of the problem Atletico seems to have is are defense. However, If Barcelona play their next matches without losing, they will surely take over Atletico Madrid's place.

Indeed,Xavi is really doing a great job at Barcelona,bringing these young players together and trying his possible best to make them live up to expectation from their fans.
I so much trust the process,I believe in Xavi that he is taking Barcelona to a greater heights,to their former tiki-taka pattern of football.

Although Barcelona is currently still in 7th position, Barcelona's performance is getting better since Xavi became the main coach at Barcelona.

Firstly, they got a draw and right after that they got four losses in a row. They have got a really huge problem in the team now I guess. Otherwise, I don't see any logical explanation for their current look. I wouldn't have said no to seeing a different team reaching the La Liga title. At least, it would have been good to see them fighting for it until the end.

There is only a chance for Barcelona to take advantage of the opportunity. While Real Sociedad is in a bad state with a disorganized game. Barcelona have made their move by signing Ferran Torres. Of course, there will be an adaptation process for him here. However, I don't think that it will take him a long time to adapt them. There are a few things regarding this situation, not in general but just this situation alone. One of them is the fact that the kid is just 21 years old, they could get these type of players because they could end up selling him for more later on, in 3-4 years they will be able to both use him and then sell him for profit and that's a good move by them. Secondly and more importantly if they suck and finish outside of UCL then they will not be making a decent profit next season, in order to pay your debts back, you need to first earn enough to pay them, and Barcelona needs that champions league money to pay it back.

So, maybe they just saw this as a chance to improve the roster and in return get more than what they spent in the future thanks to this transfer. Plus they need to get the team younger anyway, sell some of those pique or busquets type of old players and get these youngsters to be honest and that will always cost them money.

Their financial troubles started after the players disagreed to another salary deduction last year. The club handed out huge contracts to these players and they are required to pay them 100% but the money coming in from ticket sales dropped significantly. They sold many players like Luis Suarez in an attempt to inject more cash but they also handed out more lucrative contracts to the remaining players.

The money used to buy Ferran came from a bank loan. You may not like it but it's a hard financial decision they have to make for the future of the club. Only time will tell if that will pay off or not.
