Normally Barcelona would be the favorite, but this Barcelona team can lose to anyone I think. They no longer have that status of terrifying the team. In the past, opponents were in awe of Barcelona and came for a draw. Now they are all going for the win, because they know there is something to gain. Time to renew at Barcelona and build a new team. This season they should quickly forget, also in La Liga.

However, it cannot be denied.  Building a team with limitations is not easy to do.  Limited funds are one of the main factors why you say that.  Player motivation is hard to come by, they are currently playing just like dropping out of duty.  If they want to leave immediately, then don't go into debt but find new investors for this big club. Im sure that find him isn't difficult.

Yes exactly. they are now rebuilding their team again, from all elements. But as you said, this will not be easy and will not be instant. There needs more time to prepare this club-ready again and be better again to come up as one of the most favorite clubs in Spain, like before, with its glory of El Classico (I really miss this).
But, we also don't know what will happen again to Barcelone in the next season, whether they can really come up again with better performance or get worse because of their intern problms(many problems that are not solved yet, especially it is regarding to the finance).

Well, aside from that, I am really waiting for the match round of 23, there will be several big matches that will happen.

It's not just about the process of intimidating your rivals with your strength. A team must have a certain strength to dictate its will to most opponents and modern Barcelona does not have such strength. In principle, no matter what condition Barcelona is in, this club still looks like a great irritant for any opponent. The opponents were more restrained not by the authority of Barcelona as a team, but by the presence of certain high-class players who could punish an overly arrogant opponent who would try to dictate his game to Barcelona. I think the problem why never have success forward on Barcelona right now because depending with midfielder position

If you look closely at the current problem in Barcelona squad, it is quite complex and not in the midfield line only. They have no strong strikers, less creative midfielders, and weak defenders. I can understand if the quality of Barcelona squad is decreasing because most of the players are still young and have less experiece. While the old players in the squad aren't in their top performance anymore. The solution should be signing top players who fit with Barcelona game style. Unfortunately, Barcelona has no money to sign them since they have a serious financial problem. Even, Barcelona management plans to put the players who have a big value and salary on the transfer list. They try to decrease their financial burden.

I think midfielder is the key for team playing what have to do when attacking and defensive moment, if midfielder can't manage the game style will be broken and hard for forward how to scoring goal on every match. I know Barcelona problem in this season most complicated except goal keeper only. Defender is need new player position and Pique should out because he was over and very late when against team make attacking counter and he left several step from against forward. Barcelona need defender have good speed and most hardest how Ramos playing and Pique character is not enough good I think.

And in Camp Nou, I don't see a clear favourite. Both of them can beat the other. But there is a feeling in me that Barcelona won't lose and they might even win by a one-goal difference.

This match is important for both Barcelona and ATM for their quest to get or keep a position among top 4. ATM could pass to the 5th spot or even 6th in case they lose the game. Barcelona needs 3 points to get closer to the first places and try to secure a CL spot. From 2020, ATM didn't lose any match vs Barcelona. Odds aren't that big, Barcelona @2.4 while ATM @3 is risky imo!

If Barcelona win against Atletico Madrid it will be a statement victory that will boost the team spirit high.and it will show howfar and how well Xavi has been trying to take this team.even though he does not have the star players he would have crave for, he is still trying to play the Barcelona way,which is not easy.

I think that it would still be a good achievement for Barcelona if they end the season at the third or fourth place in the standings. I mean that they are still trying to play as a complete team and they haven't been very successful about that. The thing they need is time and a good striker also.    They are having big problems on scoring more goals. For example, the Barcelona we've known so far should have been able to destroy Alaves in that game by scoring at least a few goals. If they solve their scoring problem, then they'd be more assertive.

the match against Alaves was not good for Barca. because with only 1 goal, that's all at the end of the second half.
Barca has a problem with blunt strikers. even though the game of ball dominance and attack is quite good. they seem to have developed. but indeed no attacker is dangerous in front of Barca.

Even though playing at Camp Nou I'm still not so sure Barcelona will win, but if Barcelona can win the game then of course it's a great achievement for Xavi. As said above, the reality is that Barcelona have not won in their last 5 matches against Atletico and if tomorrow Barcelona can win in this tough situation then of course it will be a huge reward from and for Xavi. At least it is a hope which of course should be a motivation for them, because for me the best result in this match is a draw and both have chances to win but Atletico have a bigger chance.

I agree. And not because I'm a fan. They've even had good games and good stretches of moments in the games that they lost recently. The blow for me again is to lose Ansu Fati now and my heart can't be broken enough times already because of him but watching the replays of their recent games you don't see them play hopelessly anymore.

Passes are much more productive, and more positive. They're making more crosses into useful areas than other teams. They just need to learn to finish those chances

This Barcelona squad will need at least 2 more years to get in shape and in the situation to be on the top tier teams in Europe. But at the moment, they are a lower A-tier team I have to say.

But I have to admire Xavi with how well he has done with the huge duty on his shoulders. Even at a time, Barca weren't even top 10. But now they are 5th placed and the influence of him on the squad is visible. I'd say that give this team time, and Xavi some more time, and Barcelona will turn around.

I believe it is not even about being in more shape, they need more players. They do not have players that play with Barcelona tiki taka style that Xavi grew up with and now uses as his tactics. Don't get me wrong, there are some players who uses that tactic but not all of them. Which is a proof that they need players either coming from youth like ansu fati and pedri.

They need to also stay healthy as well, ansu show some brilliance when he played but keeps getting injured all the time, I do not think that you can be a star player when you are always injured. All in all I believe that we should probably see Barcelona change a lot of players in order to get better, not just getting used to the tactic and all that.

Absolutely true. I fail to see any kind of threat to Madrid, perhaps Seville could be a little more concerned about it but not much. As it stands both Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are in bad forms and it Barcelona can snatch a win ( which I don’t think they can) it would be an achievement for them team and manager considering the fact that they find it hand to defend and score. Atletico Madrid might as well win since the coach happens to have more coaching experience that xavi and ATM is a bit better than Barcelona right now and I am sure the odds would be in favor of Atletico Madrid  but a draw should be a fair result.

they still have a pretty good potential for the future of barcelona because their performance is quite good and even they are very reliable.
but as you said apart from taking time to process they also at least need an experienced mentor there.
busquet and pique are quite good but their era is fading I think and there must be more of them
