Winning about 43% games I think is not good statistic with Barcelona exactly after get several player on window transfer, I think fans have big expectation after Barcelona success defeated Atletico Madrid last two weeks and now they have back to drop performance just can playing draw with Espanyol. I think Barcelona still not have consistent performance after looks on two games pass by Barcelona, win from Atletico Madrid but have failed how to defeat Espanyol as mediocre team. Now Barcelona looks terrible position standing and still not safety after have the same points with Atletico Madrid but lead with head to head only, if next match failed getting full points and Atletico Madrid keep consistent performance they should give four position standing for Atletico.

Atletico Madrid and Barcelona's only goal now is to qualify for the Champions League. And both teams have ample opportunity to be in the top 4 of the points table. However, for this they must improve their performance. They will not be able to qualify for the Champions League if they do not stabilize the team.  Barcelona have more chances to get quality than athletico Madrid  , I still have that believe  Barcelona will come back  strong.  The performance  of Barcelona right now is not going to continue  this way. Barcelona did performed well in the match they played with athletico Madrid.

Barcelona had a really difficult away game last night. It was against Espanyol and they were one of the strong teams in home games in the La Liga. They lost only three times in eleven games before this one. And in this game, they showed how strong they were again. Barcelona scored first but Espanyol still turned the game around and captured a 2-1 advantage. Barcelona were desperately trying to get at least one point by scoring the equalizer. And they made it in the last moments. However, they are still ahead of Atletico Madrid in the standings despite having the same points.

Real Madrid getting a tie with Villareal wasn't unexpected but wasn't the most possible outcome at the same time. It was always obvious that Villareal is a great team, nobody could say that they are a bad team. Real could be the leader in the league right now but when you are facing a tough opponent, anything could happen. ATM game against Getafe was definitely one of the most fun we have seen all year as well, it was a true rivalry and it was a very rough game.

I feel like this "who will be in UCL last spot" thing will go on for a long time. Betis, ATM and Barcelona all fighting for that third spot and fourth spot together, 2 will be in, and one will be out but I do not know which one it will be.

It looks like we will see another fight between Atletico Madrid and Barcelona in the league. I don't know which one will finish top of the league, but both are far from their past performance. Especially considering that Barcelona was at the top level in world football years ago, its current position is quite sad.
