Well...the Sevilla dream to win LaLiga this year is not far at all but when important games will hit them, will they be able to win them ? Because lately , Sevilla is not in that great shape from start of the season and teams like villareal and Barcelona are picking up the pace and honestly , Real Madrid have such a superior squad this year that I can't see them losing LaLiga. However, I seem them losing against PSG in UCL.

Sevilla have an excellent defense - they have conceded the fewest goals in La Liga - only 16. But their attack is relatively weak. In general, they consistently defeat outsiders and teams of medium strength, but when meeting with their main rivals (primarily Real Madrid), in my opinion, they have no chance of winning. But after all, only a victory can help them reduce the advantage that Real already has.

If Sevilla so wish to win laliga they can decide to play a well defensive attack in that once they are able to get atleast one goal from big rival teams the fall all back and play a 5:4:1 defense game until the 90' is over. Football I came to understand is not really about squad although squad matters but a good team play and game understanding can make it all work out

This match might take an interesting turn if any of these teams score. I really hope that Real Madrid is going to break the deadlock. It's quite difficult to see Real Madrid play like this. If you can score just 1 point will be enough then nothing. Villarreal defense was tight and didn't want to give Madrid the slightest chance. I didn't have time to bet on this match, because at first, I wasn't sure about Madrid's performance. Sevilla have done really well in this season. They have earned the position that they are in and shown some great football this season. But if we talk about Real Madrid vs Sevilla then Real Madrid takes the crown every time in my opinion.

But they have to believe that if anyone can challenge Real Madrid for the crown, it's them. So they have to try their level best and not drop a single point but that's gonna be really hard.

If they can beat Paris SG at the Santiago Bernabeu and draw in Paris, they can knock them out. Real Madrid is a team that wants success in both the league and the champions league this year. I hope they can both be successful.

Lose from Barcelona in the last match makes Atletico out from champion league zone and today against Getafe Simeone have to utilize this match back to on track and this could be a good moment because Atletico had 10 consecutive no lose in all competition against Getafe so this makes Atletico are the favourite to win the match and some fans too hoping Suarez will play and scoring goals again in this match

And Atletico Madrid is going to be much more motivated to win this match because they just lost an important position to Barcelona. They proved once again that the situation at Real Madrid is very bad except for Benzema. The draw against Elche, the defeat against Athletic Bilbao, they win against Granada but they did not win very easily. And as usual, they drew again against Villarreal. Personally, I know that Athletico is very well seeded at the moment, but if you look at their winning record in the last 5 matches, I think Getafe is better than Atletico.

Real Madrid and PSG have superior players this season it's just that PSG has some star players in it who are more famous but Madrid's squad is so great in the champions league so I can't underestimate even though PSG is superior to Real Madrid's squad.

Sevilla must be contented with the performance level they got against Elche yesterday. This solid effort brought them a 2-0 victory also. They scored both goals in five minutes consecutively. Elche weren't even able to react to the first goal which was a very good thing for Sevilla. If they got stuck at 1-0 for a long time, Elche would have really found the equalizer in the last minutes. And this would really devastate Sevilla about their title competition with Real Madrid. I'm waiting excitedly for the Villarreal - Real Madrid game this evening.

They definitely do feel proud for sure. They are doing some more transfers during this period as well just so they could actually turn that into a championship decider. Not that just one player would decide that but having one more player that could help is definitely a great deal of difference. At the end of the day, they are only 3 points behind and they could fight for a first place as soon as next week if they are lucky.

I still feel like Real will be the champions but that doesn't change the fact that Sevilla is doing better than people expected of them. This is the difference, they are definitely fighting for a title and that is all fans could ask for even if they lose but Real would have angry fans if they lose.

The absence of benzema is very influential indeed. if we saw that during the match they were really struggling in terms of finishing even though they were superior in every line they still couldn't get the ball into Rulli's goal.

I agree, they struggled against weaker teams and with Benzema being out due to injury, it will be more complicated for them. In La Liga, Real Madrid has 4 points difference from Sevilla and assuming Barca will win their 2 remaining matches to catch the 24 games, then their difference will be 10 points which is still big.
