As expected, Sevilla was able to beat Elche in La Liga match week 24. Their distance is getting closer to Real Madrid, even though Real Madrid will still play against Villarreal. But it was a good result for Sevilla as they kept their points with the leaders. A new rivalry in La Liga this season, where previously only Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid always competed.

Considering Real Madrid's recent results, I personally don't believe Madrid will get the full points here against Villarreal. Even earlier in their first match of the season, at that time Madrid who played at home only ended in a draw with the score 0-0. Now, Madrid's performance seems to have dropped a bit and on the other hand, Villarreal is currently on the verge of increasing their performance which would be good to hold Real Madrid to a draw or maybe win the game, who knows.

Yes, there is a change in the order of the things this season, who would have thought that at the beginning of the season that at this stage the top two teams will be Real Madrid and Sevilla, it's absolutely crazy but interesting to say the least. Sevilla are pretty close to Madrid as three points separate them, with Madrid having played a game less, but I don't think it's possible for Sevilla to win the league, they'll finish in second place I think which will be a very good achievement for them. Having said that, Barcelona have improved of late, and they are back in the top four, it's very important for them cause if they want to climb their way back to the top of world football then they need to continue playing CL football, that way they'll allure quality players to the team and continue their rebuilding process.

Sevilla must be contented with the performance level they got against Elche yesterday. This solid effort brought them a 2-0 victory also. They scored both goals in five minutes consecutively. Elche weren't even able to react to the first goal which was a very good thing for Sevilla. If they got stuck at 1-0 for a long time, Elche would have really found the equalizer in the last minutes. And this would really devastate Sevilla about their title competition with Real Madrid. I'm waiting excitedly for the Villarreal - Real Madrid game this evening.

Getafe's meeting record is quite promising for Atletico Madrid. On paper they are ahead of Getafe. Apart from the unexpected defeat to Barcelona which left the fans disappointed, I think Atletico Madrid will win this match. If they can't maximize their chances in this match, they will find it even more difficult because they are left behind from Barcelona and Betis to fight for Champions League tickets.

However, I seem them losing against PSG in UCL.

Martial assist in the second goal, this three points shows how they have closed down the points behind Real Madrid.
I don't see Real Madrid attacking tomorrow they have to sit back, wait for the host to attack and hit them with return counter attacks.
Also, I see Barcelona as winner's already against Esoanyol their neighbors, hopefully they get to keep a clean sheet in this game and scire in the first half of the game.
