Betis - Girona was a balanced game in general. Girona started to accept the game in their half after getting ahead by 1-0. Betis tried to improve their attacks more in the second half and they got what they wanted in the last minutes finally. For once I thought Girona were really going to be victorious in this quite challenging away game.

In the end Real Madrid also got a 1-1 draw against Betis away recently. Girona also got the same result. If Real Madrid don't make big mistakes they should be able to beat Alaves easily. This must be enough to carry them to the top in the standings if I'm not wrong.

Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Girona all had hard matches this round.
Barcelona had a draw with Almeria until the last minutes of the game when they were able to get the lead and win.
Atletico Madrid were leading with 2 goals difference until the last minutes of the match when Getafe surprised them with 2 goals and picked one point from them.
Girona scored since the first half and were confident to win until almost the end of the game but surprise! Real Betis did it and made them drop the first position to Real Madrid which also picked a victory in the extra time. What a difficult round for all of them but definitely Girona was the one which impacted it the most in my opinion otherwise they would finish this year in the first position..

The performance of the Girona team is very good this season. The performance of this team has surprised everyone since the beginning of the season. Girona team has occupied the top spot of the table for a long time. Although now second in the table, they are level on points with Real Madrid.

They don't have good tradition like Real Madrid and Barcelona. They don't have too strong squad but they have an amazing season so far and their players are playing best season in their career. Barcelona and Real Madrid still seem to be my favorites to win the title. I will be happy if Madrid lose their next match and Barcelona win their next match. After having red card in 54th minute and with their play I was thinking today Girona is going to have good lead for the long time and things are going to be interesting for the next half of this season, but there is no doubt about strong mentality of Real Madrid and their dedication they steal the 3 points in injury time and now having strong hold on top spot.

I really love the level of competition in the Lalliga this season,that is how the premier league is too,in the premier league,we have Arsenal, Liverpool,Mancity,Aston Villa, and Totthenham who wants to win the league,and that really makes the league very competitive.While in Spain,we have Madrid,Girona,Barca and Athletico Madrid who are fighting it hard to get the league tittle as well.
