When you get a dozen shots in and still end up losing, that usually ends up being a bad team to bet on for a win. Barcelona has been unlucky about scoring, and we need to make sure that they do end up with a good striker, and don't get me wrong Lewandowski is great and all, but it just doesn't fit with Barcelona system for Lewandowski, they need someone else.

In the recent games of Barcelona they have lose 3 games, 2 from laliga and 1 from champions league against antwerp in a roll . I think with this result from Barcelona it will make fans to lose confidence if they will be able to win their next game.  

This season Lewandowski have not really put in much effort in his performance to help Barcelona do better. If not for joao felix test have scored several goals for Barcelona this season without him, I don't think Barcelona would be  able to come this far to get up to this amount of points . Their is still hope for Barcelona to get to the top of the league again they can be able to transform in the performance of their game.

It seems there is really a chance for Lewandowski to leave Barcelona even after all the good performance he had in this team and all the goals he scored for Xavi and his players because Lewandowski got a good offer from the Saudi teams there is a chance for Barcelona to sell Lewandowski for a good price to the Saudi teams to earn some money from selling that player and use the money they got for buying othe and younger players from other teams because Barcelona is currently in the situation in which they need to somehow earn some money.
Bruno Guimarães is the player they want to buy Barcelona is planning to sell Lewandowski and use the money they can get to buy Guimarães.

Robert Lewandowski have deliver Barcelona over the years, and this season is different from the rest, we have watch how Lewandowski recover from crucial injuries and now he's facing difficulties to bounce back to form. Bruno Guimarães can not exits St James Park this summer because he's proven to be one of the very key players for Newcastle United. Even though he's keen on leaving the club, only the influence coming from Eddie Howe will restrained him from leaving, you know why? Because Eddie Howe have declared him to be a very key part of his project for the club.

It seems like I'm quite behind and yes it's all because Barcelona can only draw against Valencia. Even though this is an away match for Barcelona, it is not appropriate for them to play a draw. Even though Joao Felix opened the scoring for Barcelona first, Valencia didn't want to be left behind and they immediately equalized.

Even though there were still quite a few minutes left before the match ended, Barcelona were also unable to complete their mission and in the end the score ended at 1-1. This result will also make it more difficult for Barcelona to compete for the title because they will be increasingly left behind by Girona and Real Madrid. So I don't know whether Barcelona will immediately look for a replacement for Xavi for the remainder of the season or continue to entrust the job of Barcelona coach to him.

Again it seems Barcelona is not in a good situation and there is a danger alert in this Spanish team because they could get good results in the last games we saw from Xavi and his players in Barcelona in the games against Girona and Royal Antwerp.
Now after getting the 1-1 result against Valencia, they lost another point in La Liga while this team hardy needs to collect all these points but after the match, Pedro said their performance was not bad and they had progress after the game they had against Girona.

I would say that Barcelona do not have the ability to be champions this season. Their performances have been very erratic this season. If you want to win the title, there must be consistency of performance. If the performance is irregular, winning the La Liga title is impossible. If Girona wins the next match, they will move ahead of Barcelona by 9 points. Reducing the gap of 9 points will be a much more difficult task for Barcelona. Real Madrid and Girona are the favorites for this year's title. If Girona can't keep up the consistency, I'll definitely say that Real Madrid will be champions.

People are waiting when Girona will drop points but it appears that it is only Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are the ones that are dropping points in reality!
Barcelona for example lost 7 points in the last 5 games. Real Madrid lost 4 points while Atletico Madrid missed 6 points. ATM were able to pass Barcelona and even get a safety distance from them especially that they lack one more match to play, instead they risk to see other teams, mainly Bilbao trying to catch them!

The performance of the Girona team this season has surprised everyone. Nobody expects the Girona team to top the table. However, Girona's players have continued to perform well in every match and still occupy the top spot in the points table. Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are far behind Girona.

Atletico Madrid and Barcelona have not played as well as expected in their last matches. Due to the loss of points, these two teams have fallen far behind in the title race. Barcelona have dropped points in their last two matches. Real Madrid and Girona are performing regularly in La Liga. And so these two teams have the biggest chances to win the title.

We've been mind blown and they have decided to make that good form a habit, I see they want to win the next two games remaining in the first half of the season. Despite the form, they still have to pay good attention. Slacking at this point would not be a great idea, they should buckle up against Alaves tomorrow night.
I'm sure of the win in a way, they have a pretty good form against cluns below the tenth position in La Liga. Alaves currently 13position on the table, this a little evidence they would win. Though I expect Alaves to prove some level of stubbornness.

Barcelona could still catch up, they'll be against Almeria if not Alaves in them next game at home. They would do well to win. They didn't play poorly last night in between.

The performance of Villareal's players has been quite poor this season but there is no chance to underestimate this team. Many times in the past we have seen Villareal's players perform well and win against big teams. Villareal even won the last match against Real Madrid by 3-2. For these reasons, there is no chance of underestimating this team.

Carvajal, Vini, Camavinga are not present in Real Madrid squad today. These three players were very important to the Madrid squad. If Villarreal can hold off Bellingham today, they have a chance to pick up the points.

Barcelona didn't get the result they wanted, after getting a 1-1 draw against Valencia, and they must now face the consequences.
We can talk about their missed opportunities, and it seems to come down to tactical problems. While there might be a plan in place, the team, with the caliber of players under Xavi, shouldn't be struggling to dominate matches. The fact is, this squad lacks the strength needed to compete, and Barcelona needs a remedy. It looks like they won't be going far this season.

Barcelona is only good at controlling the game and controlling the ball but not good enough in terms of finishing and their defense this season is not as good as last season. This is the problem this season for Barcelona if I look, in fact they have never won in their last three matches.

I think it's time for Xavi to change his tiki-taka style of play because today's players don't have enough time to play with the real kings of that pattern namely xavi, iniesta, Messi and others. Tiki-taka cannot be effective without players with high intellectual capacity like Ronaldinho, Messi or Xavi. It could be said that Xavi was the main cause of Barcelona's poor performance, in the Valencia match I don't know why Xavi always replaced him with the careless Ferran Torres, he should have given Joao Felix more playing time because he has potential.

Talking about Bellingham, this player is truly special. Bellingham has given a new color to Real Madrid's game this season and he often scores goals and changes the direction of the game. He is one of the players who is getting better day by day, it is true that Real Madrid brought him in because at Bellingham he seems to be a striker who plays as a midfielder.

However, Real madrid's centre back injury woes continue with alaba being the latest patient. Real Madrid now has only two fit centre backs (Rudiger and Nacho) with all the other 4 being injured.

It's not good, but I hope Alaba doesn't suffer a very serious injury. He's needed because the defense won't be any stronger than it looks.

They played in front of their own supporters but they were the ones who got into trouble because they had to lose with a score of 0-3 in this match.After falling behind by 1 goal Sevilla played more boldly by making sporadic attacks which actually made their defense slacken because some defenders participated in the attack which made the situation in the defense line empty and this could be used well by Getafe with their fast counterattack.

With this result, even though Sevilla are still above the relegation zone but their points are still not safe because they have the same number of points as Cadiz who are in the relegation zone and now I think their focus should be greater for La Liga because now they are out of the Champions League zone.

Yep, this is not very good for Sevilla but indeed when looking at the current conditions and the situation of Sevilla in recent seasons, especially for the beginning of the season, they always have the same performance, I am actually not too surprised by the results they have, it's just that this is quite upsetting to see.
Sevilla are too focused on the attack but they forget the defense that should be well guarded. Even though they applied 5 defenders but Getafe's fast counterattacks actually made some of the defenders they had unable to return to their positions.

Currently with the current situation, it's actually not very good for Sevilla but when looking at their schedule which will only focus on La Liga and the Copa del Rey alone I think this will still be very good for them and they can still return to mid-table positions even though they have to give up positions in the Champions League and Europa League next season.

Now by looking at the situation that occurred and the condition of Sevilla, which has indeed been eliminated from the Champions League, there is no reason for them to hold back and focus more on La Liga.
At the moment Sevilla just have to do their best for their future in La Liga, Forget about Champions League or Europa League problems because they are far behind now because what is more important now is that they must try to make improvements in the squad especially for their goal productivity problems and defense. Because at the moment they are also in an uncomfortable condition considering their position is very close to the relegation zone.

There must be some improvements in this winter transfer if they really want to be serious about staying in La Liga next season because if not it is not impossible to happen last season when they were very difficult to move from the bottom standings happened again this season.

Too bad for Atletico Madrid they conceded a 2-0 defeat by Bilbao away from home, Atletico Madrid dominated the game mostly but could create lots of  chances to win Bilbao, even the few chances they got couldn't be converted to a goal, however Bilbao really utilized the advantage of their home ground, they stood their ground and created alot of chances and where lucky enough to score 2 goals, this victory would really boost the morale of their players.

Atletico Madrid's inability to optimize the opportunities that existed, even though they had many opportunities, ultimately resulted in them losing the result of the match. Yes, maybe they are both top clubs and they are both strong, but it is said that Atletico Madrid's position should be superior. Not only that, Atletico Madrid had high dominance in the match but unfortunately they failed in the next week to attack effectively.

Now, there is a match between Real Madrid vs Villarreal. Madrid has been leading 2 - 0 at first. But unfortunately, Villarreal could add a goal in the second half to be 2 - 1. this is still a tough match for both. From their game, Real Madrid should win because they have more chances to gain it and much stronger .

Barcelona's players are too self-centered when it comes to playing football, and even though they have talent that many other teams in the league lack, they are still unable to score goals. Barcelona also has a younger population than Real Madrid, which is likely the reason behind their selfish tactics. I can even wager that Barcelona will not be able to win any trophies this season. I didn't find anything wrong with the team's coach because he was doing everything he could to ensure that the players could play well. All of Barcelona's players were involved in the match, but they were unable to defeat Valencia, a team that Real Madrid was enjoying themselves with.

Lewandowski's age will be a common criticism.Since he is unable to perform as well as he once could, why did Barcelona choose to purchase him from Bayern Munich without taking his age into consideration? Lewandowski can still play well; the young players on the team are just being egotistical. I predicted that Barcelona would win because Athletic Bilbao defeated Atletico Madrid, giving them the chance to play well and score more points. Barcelona is only ahead of Atletico Madrid by a single point, but nothing changes in my opinion because Atletico Madrid outperforms Barcelona.

In La Liga, Barcelona and Real Madrid are two teams with very high players' quality. They've got more young stars and the clubs are  seemingly promising as weeks and seasons go by. The only difference is the idea of team coordination and spirit. Real Madrid knows that they're meant to set the right build up to goals and so they play their specific roles to the best of their ability and leave the finishing work for the forward man.

 In Barcelona, the team is lacking in a number of areas. Lewandowski has age taking toll on him and his team mates are gradually turning every game to a one man show. This also adds to their reduced performances too. The coach should be proactive to fixing up these loopholes as they're very much a threat to team's growth.

No doubts age is gradually telling on Robert lewandoski and he isn't performing optimally as he has been doing before and ofcos he has served Barcelona in a good capacity even when he just recovered he almost immediately joined the team back in making sure they win their games and probably maintain their position on the table.

Barcelona is yet to fully recover from their financial crisis hence it will be really difficult getting a good replacement for lewandoski by the January transfer window. It's high time they begin to think in the direction of getting some other players to help them make up for their players who currently seem not to be in a very good form enough to play for the team and to also their defense line, they can aswell opt to loan some players. Felix is one key player who can turn a very good help for Barcelona if he is properly taken care of.

In the match against Bilbao, Atletico Madrid got difficulty in attacking. They only made 7 shots, meanwhile Bilbao made 16 shots. It was very unfortunate, Atletico Madrid really dominated the match, they almost won the ball possessions 65% but they were lack in shot attempts. Bilbao played effectively, they made many shot attempts although they only got about 38% ball possessions. It seems Atletico Madrid needs to learn again how to build effective attacking in the match.

Now, there is a match between Real Madrid vs Villarreal. Madrid has been leading 2 - 0 at first. But unfortunately, Villarreal could add a goal in the second half to be 2 - 1. this is still a tough match for both. Funny ASF!! The could round the goals up to make it five tonight. I think it's time to substute Jude Bellingham, Carlo Ancellotti should do that because the lad be using his emotions to play. Not that he's playing poorly but just to protect him from getting Injured. All four goals tonight are beautiful goals. I love that one touch pass from Luka Modric to Jude Bellingham. He'll be definitely missed when he leaves Real Madrid. He has won it all including the Ballon d'or.

They shouldn't be too excited, Girona are right behind them, tomorrow if everything goes smoothly, they'll go back to the top of the league.
The Nico brothers did well this week, I saw the highlights of the game only to see that beautiful goal from the Junior Nico. Playing this way will earn him a spot in the upcoming Euro's.

Villarreal performance was extremely labeled mediocre, they couldn't maintain the balance of the game and conceded so easily after much pressure on them from the hosts. Carlo Ancelotti keen on reclaiming the first position from Girona this season, this is a tough fight to be won for Los Blancos though there are threats. The absence of Vinicius Júnior doesn't affect Real Madrid because they're winning and having easy access to accumulate three points. It's 4-1 on the scoresheet and Real Madrid leading. So, we will see the match between Girona vs Alaves in tomorrow match because if Girona is able to beat Alaves then they will again lead the standing this week. On the other hand, Barcelona is increasingly lagging behind Real madrid and Girona because Barcelona failed to achieve maximum results in yesterday match.

After the equalizer I thought Villarreal would be able to keep up with Madrid but that's unlikely to happen.
Madrid were very good in this match and their dominance was maintained and they even scored 4 goals in this match.
Jude came back with a goal and I also liked Rodrygo and Brahim Diaz who scored again.
Although I was worried about Vini's injury, when Brahim Diaz was given more time to play it seemed like he didn't waste the chances he got and always played well and even created goals when given the opportunity.

Likewise for Rodrygo, it seems like he's hot late this season because indeed when the first few matches he always failed to contribute more but slowly he rediscovered his momentum to score goals.

Real Madrid is playing really good. This 4-4-2 formation suits them. When Modric and Kroos play together they are something else. Rodrygo and Brahim Diaz raised their performance, Bellingham is same. They have a good fixture until February, it would be a big surprise if they lose points until that time.
