Yesterday I was surprised how Atlético limply lost to Atlétic. Will Simeone lose even the 4th place? Betis is one point away.

I think Atletico Madrid might lose their place in the Champions League next season especially if they can't win their next game against Real Madrid. Their chances of qualifying largely depend on the result of the match against Madrid as well as the next few matches. Of course that is the most difficult thing for them at the moment, but there is a possibility that Real Madrid will not be too focused on the league because they have won titles this season which Atletico can take advantage of.

Apart from that, Barcelona also have an important match to win today against Mallorca. The target of Barcelona's victory in this match is mandatory if you want to keep securing its position in the Champions League. If Mallorca lose then the possibility of them being relegated is also getting real.

I think Barcelona supporters don't need follow Sevilla or Atletico Madrid game, all they need is for their team to win today and they are qualified for the UEFA Champion's league. As for Barcelona, winning today is absolutely necessary for them because the next fixtures which include Betis, Celta Vigo, Villarreal will be so tough. The season is done but a second place finish will be a good one for Barcelona.

The champion is already clear, their arch rivals Real Madrid. Since they could not be champions in this situation, they entered the battle for the second place. Real is really having one of the most successful seasons of their career considering the domination they had so far. I mean did they had championships and even UCL wins and copa and many more etc etc in a single season before? Of course they did, this is real we are talking about, they had los galacticos for a while and they were amazing.

But for the recent memory, I do not remember them being this good when everyone else is this bad, they have dominated the league with ease, without a problem, many games before the season ends. They should definitely considering putting a full on 18 people youth team for the rest of the games if it's allowed and they are registered, that way they would benefit from it in the future.

well with 4 games left for barcelona and knowing they are also an inconsistent team i would say it is too early to consider barcelona will finish in second place and see barcelona are very lucky because sevilla are a joke they win with luck and then we have the athletic that is another bad team with no hope for this season, so with that advantage it was supposed that barcelona would be far away in relation to those two teams that I mentioned. But Barcelona is unstable. speaking of barcelona, they won. but when mallorca scored 1 goal I thought the game could end in a draw.

The question I ask myself: with this poor performance, what can you expect from Barcelona in the next season?

A good win for Barcelona; hardwork win after series of poor performances due to fatigue, poor performance and poor tactical set up. With sevilla and Atletico Madrid dropping points, the race to secure the 2nd position in the league is live with Barcelona just 2 points above sevilla, and 4 points above Atletico Madrid  with 4 games to play.

Barcelona got their deserved win after playing decently against Mallorca. I'm thankful for seeing that the Cadiz or Rayo Vallecano incident didn't happen again here. They won by 2-1 but this would have ended by a more comfortable result at the same time. Barcelona have consolidated the second spot more by this win. Sevilla are still two points behind though but it is still difficult for them to leave Barcelona behind on the remaining weeks. Sevilla seem to be more unreliable to me these days.

Mathematically, the second spot could be revoked from Barcelona at any time with 4 games left this season, but in real life, Sevilla and ATM are at their worst time to be able to oust Barca from there.. Actually ATM position is no longer secured imo, it all depends from Betis performance for now.
Looking at the relegation zone, Granada journey in La Liga seems to end soon after being in top 10 for the last 2 seasons.

I couldn't watch the Barcelona vs Mallorca game today but I see that the home team played really solidly. They must have earned this 2-1 victory undoubtedly. I don't know why but Barcelona have started to struggle in the league too lately. And maybe the reason could be that they don't have much thing left to do for this season. Because they weren't struggling this much about winning games in the league. I will be wondering what moves they will do this summer too. As Real Madrid are getting prepared for making big transfers already now, Barcelona would like to answer them as much as possible.

The Los Blancos side thrashed Espanyol 4 nil and the Madrid fans are jubilanting at the Santiago Bernebeu after their big win. The second halve was still an easy halve for Madrid as  Asensio and Karim Benzema scored in the second half to put Madrid infront. Barcelona had a comfortable game against Mallorca today and didn't make any mistake. They won the game 2-1 and it would have even been a bigger gap as well. Mallorca should see themselves lucky that it didn't happen. It would be really humiliating for them. In fact, Barcelona would have got a result like that if they really wanted. But they are just trying to secure the second spot now so they don't play as focused as before now. Even if they don't end the season here, they will still qualify for the CL anyway.

Barcelona did not struggle in the second half they just have counter and high pressing from Mallorca during the late 80s.
Grat goal from Memphis and Busquet the captain outstanding players that have played games without pressure ,love the composure and calmness he brings into the team and young one.

Congrats to Madrid once again. At the start of the season  I honestly thought they will suffer defensively as they lost The mighty sergio ramos who for a long time has the La Liga Forwards trembling, The link up between Militao and Alaba has not been what they had in the past but its serving them as intended I guess. About the champions league I thought they they were out just after the first leg against PSG. Even minutes into the second leg after the mbappe’s goal. But superb comeback they had. We await to see if they can also do that against Man city which I really doubt.

Real Madrid's exit as champions and Barcelona are certain to be safe in second place while the 3rd and 4th places are occupied by Sevilla and Atletico Madrid while Real Betis still have one game left if they win the match against Getafe then The difference in points with Atletico Madrid is only 1 point left in the standings table and they still have a chance to get a ticket to the Champions League next season the people of Atletico Madrid have to slip up in the remaining matches and Real Betis won all of these matches. This will be an interesting remaining match between Atletico Madrid and Sevilla. and also real calf

It doesn't matter if they finished second or third. What's important is them securing  Champions League spot after all the issues they faced this season.

I think Atletico Madrid will still make it to fourth. Both of the chasing teams Real Betis and Real Sociedad are not that consistent either.
