Sevilla's performance is as bad as cadiz. im not even feeling doubt if sevilla may be replaced by cadiz. Cadiz is a bit better compared with sevilla. that means if cadiz would be able to leaving from the relegation zone. Sevilla has been showing worst performance so far in la liga. I didn't see any problem with the club but it seems like the team itself can't played so well in this season just like another club in the la liga.
Shit! we will have another team to be dropped again into the relegation zone as soon as possible. What a worst season for sevilla.

I also read about this some time ago and it is reported that now Ancelotti thinks that Gabriel is the ideal replacement for Benzema.
Last season they were blocked because of Passport issues but at the moment I don't think this is easy either because Gabriel is still Arteta's main focus at the moment.

This is definitely not a good statistic for a team that last season performed well by ending the season in 4th place. It turns out that Real Madrid beat Sevilla in the previous round and in this round gave Girona a point sent Sevilla to the relegation zone 
Sevilla has a game with Betis ahead and then there will be 5 games in a row with clear outsiders - I think they will greatly improve their position and most likely double the number of points they have now.

I don't think Sevilla will get back to good form this season after watching their performance both in the League and Champion League, in their match against Madrid, Sevilla appeared to be back on their feet when they were playing 1:1 but coming to the second half of the game Sevilla lost the momentum and energy and it didn't end well for them as Madrid defeated them 3:1. Seeing them in the relegation zone shows how poor the performance of the team has become and playing against a team like Real Betis I don't think things will go well with Sevilla but I hope they should go back to the drawing board and improve their game else we may be watching them in the second division next season and it will be a big blow to the team. I hope they win their next games to push themselves out of the relegation zone.

I've been saying it since the league started. Both are favourites, as they tend to be every seasib, with the difference that this season Barcelona are coming from a very complicated economic situation and have mortgaged an important part of their future by betting on being converted into a SAD if things go wrong. Every little bump in the road is a source of pressure for Barcelona. The elimination from the Champions League was already an extra pressure, and, as you say, all eyes are on Xavi, whom Laporta will try to keep as long as he can, but if he has a couple more setbacks, he won't eat his turron (Christmas candy), as they say in Spain.

Madrid, on the other hand, suffered a small blip, which was statistically to be expected, and they don't have the extra pressure that Barcelona have.

Yes, it's true, I think it's too early to say Sevilla will be relegated, they will continue to lose, but slowly they will surely get up because as we know their defense has just changed players because 2 of their center backs left. The departure of several main pillars of Sevilla has greatly affected their performance this season, although materially the players are not bad and the arrival of new recruits, but not enough to help boost the team's confidence so far. Sevilla in the adaptation period after changed new manager and Jorge Sampaoli jobs is really hard because he have to lifted up Sevilla performance immediately and to avoid relegation zone and so far since his debut match last month he has through 4 matches in Laliga but the results is quite dissapointing because Sevilla only can able to get 1 win from those matches but he is experience manager who train plenty of clubs on spanish and Argentina so if the fans more patiently maybe Sevilla can bounce back their performance under him but i still optimistic Sevilla can survive in Laliga this season

I don't think Real Madrid gave Girona a point, Girona was lucky to avoid defeat and managed to secure a point from Real Madrid. In terms of position in the table Gerona is slightly luckier than Sevilla, but in terms of points, Girona and Sevilla both collect 10 points.
Sevilla are in a bad situation this season, their performance is far from what was shown in the previous season. I also don't think Sevilla will continue to be in the relegation zone, from the history of the team and the quality of the players they have, Sevilla will definitely be able to improve their position to get out of the relegation zone.

I read in the local media if Anceloti was interested in Gabriel Jesus. Since leaving Man City Jesus has performed very convincingly. Anceloti reportedly ranked Jesus as the number one buy in the transfer market this winter. He's 25 years old, I think it was a good moment. They had a long time for Jesus. I think it will benefit Madrid in finances. Hoping with Mbappe is difficult, PSG have made an expensive clause for him. So I don't think Madrid need to expect him anymore.

And he is not that old neither, he is quite young, just 25 years old and could be bought for no that much money. Will he be the world star they are looking for though? I mean there is a huge gap between Jesus and Mbappe and I do not know if they would accept that.

My opinion is that Mbappe is better than Benzema, even if you don't think like that currently, I am sure you can agree his age is a benefit, but Jesus is much worse in my mind and that's why it's a risk. Shouldn't Real look for someone who would be an amazing star? I feel like someone at 100+ million range type of star would be better. Even if not Mbappe, some other star at that level would be fine.

I believe that Xavi can actually do a good job indeed. But the thing he needs right now might be really time.

It is his second season maybe but he didn't come to the team at the beginning of the previous season either. This is the first proper season he is managing the team. There is still a significant improvement compared to Koeman's team so this must be why Laporta isn't doubting him now. Maybe it will take a long time but the team are still promising to be a solid one. They can do an amazing job in the near future with a good level of management. Xavi isn't a very experienced manager maybe but he is getting there slowly.

It's not the worst in la liga caused by there was a team that has been performing even worst than sevilla. Sevilla, cadiz and elche were competing to be on the relegation zone. Cadiz has been showing good improvement from its performance while seville keeps facing another worst situation when it was always losing more and more. I see that if these three team have become the strongest candidate to be placed in the relegation zone until the end of season but i guess cadiz can leave there and put sevilla on the relegation zone along with elche. In recent seasons and decades, Sevilla is one of the most stable clubs in La Liga, together with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Athletico Madrid. It seems this season is a troubling one for both Athletico Madrid and Sevilla. Maybe it is not coincidence but I am more surprised to see it is happening with Sevilla.

Their defense is main issue for them but I recalled that they used to be a club which can grow young strikers to top ones and later sell those players at expensive costs. Nowadays, they are not able to do this and have to rely on defense. A successful club must have a good balance between attacking and defense. If their club is skewed on either attacking or defense and lack of its balance, they will be in trouble.
