Losing in the match is not a problem when the team was underperform. I guess almost all of team have been facing the lose. The season is still long and there would always be a chance for real madrid to slowly getting points again. Barcelona was doing quote good in the several matches caused by it was always winning the match even with small scores while real madrid got 1 draw and 1 lose which was making the club has 5 points gap with the top of standing like barcelona.
I think that has nothing to do with the world cup. Barcelona doesn't play in champion league and it can put more of its focus into the la liga rather than real madrid.
