But if we compare the La Liga performances only then we can easily say that there is not a big difference. They finished that season at the 7th position and the current position is the same as well.

They are competing in the Europa Conference League on one hand of course. But there is still a long time for next games there. They would fully focus on this game. Real Madrid are a tough team to beat. They have drawn with each other so many times so far. Maybe we might see another one.

I think this is not as heavy as Barcelona, especially after Emery left now. Villarreal is a little different and Villarreal, which is now being cared for by Setien, is still in the process of adaptation.
If Madrid play as usual and Benzema comes back in good shape I don't think it will be a big problem for Madrid and the target of 3 points must still be done in order to maintain their consistency.

Getafe's condition in the standings might seem better maybe but Sevilla have a really strong psychological advantage against them at the same time. They won their last 6 head-to-head games for example. This would be a big motivation for them to concentrate more.

I don't think of betting on them still though as long as I make safe bets. However I still hope that they will put an end to this winless streak. They need to get positive results to get out of the relegation zone.

barcelona made a horrendous signing in last year's transfer market and if they fail to be the best team in la liga then it will be a failure for xavi and his new squad, madrid is still a stable team and has a good track record in each of their matches and I'm sure the competition to fight for the best position in la liga between barcelona and madrid will be very tight.

That will be very disappointed if barcelona will not win any trophy for this year. Those money who have been spent last year meant nothing and xavi will become the main thing that shall get so many blames. His worst achievement with barcelona shall not continue for another year. I think the chance that Barcelona had in the last match was a draw.  Real Madrid are now equal.  And Real Madrid still have a lot of talented players.  With which they are able to win every match to come.  But the game cannot be said.  Let's see what happens.

This year's race is as usual, the race we are used to.  We want to see Barcelona and Real Madrid with such fierce races.  It is always enjoyable to watch the match between them and their struggle on the field, but it is more enjoyable to watch the championship race in the league.  Now they have the same score and I can say that this race will continue until the end of the league on average with the game they play.

Villarreal managed to beat Valencia 2-1 in the last match. Of course, things are more difficult against Real, but this is La Liga.  It can be any score. Sincerely, I do not believe that. Real Madrid and Barcelona are tied for first place, but if we are to evaluate them clearly, they are not really tied. RealMadrid has the edge over Barcelona in numerous ways. While Barcelona is reduced to Europa level, Real Madrid won it last year and has a chance to win the UCL again. Real Madrid also prevailed over Barcelona in their initial match. Additionally, with the return of Karim Benzema, they may take the lead.
