But towards the end of the game 90+2" two players of both teams committed a major foul due to which both were red carded by the referee.

I agree, Barcelona scored early in the first half, then defended later. It was indeed an important win that secured 3 points. Thus Barcelona team maintains its lead at the top of the La Liga standings after beating Atletico Madrid. Athletico attacked, but their final pass proved to be their biggest problem. A crazy fight breaks out between Ferran Torres and Stefan in the 92nd minute. Neither of them was able to finish what they started. I found that to be entertaining.

The discipline of Barcelona defense made it difficult for Atletico Madrid to find goals, Atletico had many opportunities to equalize the score but the poor finishing allowed Barcelona to win 3 points at Metropolitano. This victory was very important for Barcelona to get away from Real Madrid, the full points won at home to Atletico made Barcelona three points ahead of Real Madrid, which is one rank below.

This defeat made Atletico Madrid have to drop to fifth place, fourth position is now occupied by Real Betis after beating Rayo Vallecano 2-1. None of atletico's defender was guarding dembele. Dembele was staying at the free zone. That makes him able to take the ball from his friend easily without any problem and he was making a shot that was giving a goal to the barcelona. That's atletico defender's fault. I can't even argue even more about that and atletico must accept the truth if it was losing against barelona.
The play style from atletico become even more aggresive once it comes to the second half of match. Barcelona was able guarding its goal keeper from any attacks that were coming from atletico.
Glad to see that the competition in la liga become even stricter between real madrid against barcelona.

Yes, Barcelona was able to achieve quite encouraging results at the Metropolitano. Imagine, the Blaugrana were able to win an important victory at home to Atletico and further strengthen their position at the top of the standings. This is the first time Barcelona have won and scored at the Metropolitano since 2019.

After this match, I see that Barcelona's chances of winning the championship are increasingly open. Xavi must really take advantage of the current situation and must maintain consistency. Xavi Hernandez, has really tried for Barcelona inspite of their financial challenges, he's still fighting hard for the title.
Yesterday, was another test for him and he delivered by winning altetico Madrid. Thou, this season altetico Madrid is just an average team. They haven't performed like a top four team. But Xavi men still shown that they're title contender.
But to me, Real Madrid  is still my favourite for the title inspite of their recent poor performance. I believe they will bounce  soonest and lead the table again.
