Barcelona's advantage is that they can focus heavily on La Liga and the Copa Del Rey, while Real Madrid have set their sights on the Champions League and perhaps halfheartedly on the Copa Del Rey.

It's reasonable to think that Madrid will no longer focus on La Liga after trailing Barcelona by 12 points, but that doesn't mean they have to play badly and fail to win their other match. There is optimism on the part of Real Madrid, especially regarding the coach because in my opinion Ancelotti does not give up easily.

La Liga is their main focus right now in the midst of preparing for the Second Leg Semifinal against Real Madrid at Camp Nou.
However, it is also very natural that Barcelona focus on La Liga because there is no other competition that can be expected to lift a trophy other than the Copa Del Rey which they may not get because Real Madrid still has a chance to stop them.

Both Ancelotti and Xavi must have prepared several plans to anticipate that the team they are currently working with can get a trophy.
If Barcelona only has La Liga and the Copa Del Rey left, then Real Madrid still has the Champions League and the Copa Del Rey.
Between the two remaining competitions, who is the luckiest. That's what we are waiting for from the two coaches.

As much as it is very clear that Barcelona aren't La Liga champions of this season mathematically, we should also know that they aren't gonna allow the title slip off their hands as well.
That El Clasico match against Real Madrid last weekend was their biggest test of the La Liga season and they played like a team who really want to become Spanish league champions once again.

Frankly speaking, even Girona and Mallorca are not completely safe yet and that is about 10 teams to still fight for their place in La Liga. I think Celta Vigo won't have much to do with relegation, but of course it could theoretically still happen.

The positive outlook for Valencia is that they can actually beat relatively strong teams like Real Sociedad and even the win against Osasuna was very important. But at the same time they lose critical games like the one against Valladolid. Perhaps the good times for Valencia have come to an end these days.

They don't have a poor season that easy even if they make manager changes. Zidane had an amazing run for a couple of years with them. And now we are watching Ancelotti doing a great work in the same way. They won the La Liga and Champions League titles both in the previous season for example.

They have a chance ahead to win the Champions League title two times in a row as well. For example Barcelona isn't like this. They had a horrible period with Koeman but now they are much better with Xavi compared to that time.

Real Madrid a very fortunate to have an experienced coach like Carlo Ancelotti. When other clubs were busy scrambling for players during the transfer window, I was surprised that Real Madrid was not part of the rush. Coach Ancelotti said he was comfortable with his current squad. And currently, the team is performing very well not minding the point gap between Barca and them. Even with the injury woes of Benzema other younger strikers like Rodrygo and Vini Jnr have not disappointed.
It has been a disappointing season for Barcelona regarding European football but winning La Liga will be a worthy consolation.

I don't think it will be possible for Real Madrid to meet Barcelona,  it will be better they just concentrate on how to win the Champions league,  the possibility of achieving this is low unlike the the laliga race.

  The word "worthy consolation"  to me is an understatement. u already making it look like la liga isn't a title. La liga is the second most toughest competition in all football leagues. Last year Real Madrid was not a favored team to win UCL but somehow they were able to beat Chelsea and even Man City as the strongest candidate to win the cup. It's unfair to judge that Real Madrid couldn't win UCL just because of their poor performance in LaLiga. In otherwise, Barcelona playing well in LaLiga yet they couldnt did anything in Europe competitions.

Real Madrid squad last season and this season relatively no big changes in their team so I believe that real madrid still have a pretty good rally in the Champions league arena. For this season, they have a little weakness in Laliga, but in the Champions League, when they face Liverpool, they have shown their quality as the defending champions, which makes them the strongest candidate this season.

Barcelona are doing quite well under the current management in domestic games, mainly La Liga. In European competitions it is totally the opposite.

No one will deny the management quality of both Xavi and Ancelotti, they are doing great, one in La Liga and the other in Champions League, so far of course.

They've already let the La Liga title slip away from them, and they're on the verge of losing the Copa del Rey as well. If Barcelona eliminates Real Madrid from the Copa del Rey, which seems likely, Real Madrid's main focus will be on the Champions League, and they will do everything possible to finish this season with at least a league title. They already have a good reputation there, and they'll want to maintain it while adding to their number of champions league titles.

This may become the last chance for madrid in the last el classico in copa del rey. Barcelona is leading with more goals compared with madrid but the problem is madrid is not as good as before. Ancellotti keeps used the old players as his main choices while there are some young talented players that are ready to play as well. Real madrid didn't perform so good as always. Does xavi know about how to prevent real madrid's strategy? real madrid could play so well against another team, but it was always losing against barcelona which didn't even make sense.

But the question is, can Barcelona win 9 matches from 12 matches left? because some players are quite doubtful to play full on remaining matches because has potential of injury.

After all, every team will always have strengths and weaknesses and this season we admit that Barcelona is indeed very good in La Liga, but Barcelona is still bad in the Champions League and Europa League. Barcelona still has strong opponents. they still have to face the likes of Atletico Madrid, Betis, and Real Sociedad. Barcelona's current performance is pretty good, let's just say Barca lost to these 3 teams, but Barca got wins from 9 other teams that were weaker than the three teams. then Barca will lock the title this season.

Based on Real Madrid performance in this season, I don't think they will win this la Liga league title because Barcelona coach is doing some positive things that will make them to maintain the first position till the end of the tournament. Many people predicted for the favour of Real Madrid to defeat Barcelona 2-0 in the first leg but Barcelona turned the match in the second half to their favour to defeated Real Madrid 2-1. I think, there is a big hope for Barcelona to defeat Real Madrid in the second leg because they will use the first leg advantage to silent their performance in this match.

If they fail to win the league this season wouldn't that be a big failure for Barca? Failure will be even more painful because they have started well from the start of the season, especially being supported by their competitors who are not performing well this season, so even though they may experience difficulties due to facing several injured players, Xavi will maximize every available potential to still they can lift the trophy this season.
