Very sad what happened at Bilbao game and I'm glad they stopped the game for good in order to pay respect for that person who died during the first minutes of the game. I also hope that Granada will find a way to score quick when the game will resume and maybe even win the game in order to dedicate that win to his family.

Now , back to football and Barca - Girona should be game of the week across Europe in my opinion and I won't be shocked to see Girona winning on Camp Nou and take 3 points

Actually, I don't like the final result of Betis vs Madrid. They were only able to go home with 1 point. This certainly makes Girona's points difference closer. The President of the Athletic Club said something on Twitter in response to the incident, so the match ended because it had to be postponed. This is a very rare occurrence and probably the first in the 2023-2024 season in any top European league.

Real Madrid for a fact failed to win the game against Real Betis yesterday but critically looking at how they played, I don't think they played bad. They were the better team in that game but couldn't create much chances that would've given them the needed win in that game. Of a truth, Real Madrid's failure to sign a world class striker has in some occasions affected their performance since the start of the season and yesterday wasn't and exception. Jude Bellingham has been the clubs most prolific player this season even when he's a natural midfielder.

Girona's game at Barcelona has just kicked off and of Girona can win the game, they'll leapfrog Real Madrid in the Spanish La Liga standings but that result is very unlikely to happen because they're playing a very strong opponent in Barcelona tonight.

Three points well secured for the away club, though it was a difficult game for them but they later reduced their chances and converted good possibilities of goal scoring. Granada lost to Athletic Bilbao at home, definitely not a good start for the club. However our main concentration is on Barcelona vs Girona. Camp Nou matches are for the competitive sides and not mediocre clubs and Girona are giving such outstanding performance. The main focus is for Barcelona to come out victorious against the top competitive club, Girona. Watching the game, the scores are 1-1 and incredible performance coming in from Barcelona.

Barcelona happens to my favorite in this match and even the bookie seem to put the odds in favour of Barcelona, because it looks like everyone seem to believe Barcelona is.

Many times this season Barcelona has been my favorite team going into a match but on several occasions they don't leave up to the expectations and they have on those occasions went down first and then had to do the chasing game.
Although on some occasions Barcelona has really been impressive and fanatics especially when De Jong starts alongside pedri, I think a full Barcelona squad in form would definitely be a threat. Today's game they remain my favorite and I think they would win.

Don't worry, I think the levels of the two teams are very different although it is true that Barcelona also has some weaknesses. Barcelona appeared with their best squad, only Marc-André ter Stegen was listed as still injured. Barcelona fell behind Girona, but Barcelona responded quickly through Lewandowski's goal. This was Lewandowski's first goal in his last few games, so it will definitely help him regain his confidence.

Since even as a midfielder, he finds comfort and ability to be versatile and it works well for him then it's best for a coach to maintain him on that grounds and keep basking in the good he's doing at that position.

 For a player's major position to be switched, it'll only cause a decline in performance because the whole role would seem new and the player who's got no idea on the role he'd be playing, will just be lost and will slack which may in turn get the team affected. Every man is important in a team and so is every role dey play so each one should be left to do his duties and ensure that its done well instead of taking every game for an experiment. It'll only diminish the squad gradually.

It was a really crazy match with Gazzaniga playing really well in this match and the saves he made during the 80 minutes that it lasted were really good and need to be applauded.

The score is now 1-3 after Vallery Fernandez scored Girona's third and it's going to give the crowd pause as I think it's a game-tying goal that will make the Camp Nou lose heart considering they lost by a pretty big margin in this one.
