Barcelona experienced a drastic decline in performance, the attack line was very dull, the midfield was unable to maintain the rhythm of the game well and the back line was very fragile. It is very difficult to compete in the Champions League and La Liga if the performance is like this, Barcelona will be in danger of not winning a trophy this season if Xavi does not immediately solve the problems that are occurring in his team's directionless play.

Barcelona's performance are not even encouraging, they're behind their usual style of play. This definitely isn't the usual Barcelona of past seasons. Their performance hasn't really been encouraging and even though they're a better side technically to other teams, it's just a number of uncertainties that are present. The players and management teams aren't really at their best and it has to be corrected.

 In the round of 16, they are up against a tough opponent, they've got enough weeks to prepare hard and build strong confidence ahead. They really can't afford to take a bow out of the contest at this stage. Although it's unpredictable but they're definitely boasted of to scale through and they have the right player quality too. Just a bit of increase in performance is needed. Although, their games in the coming weeks are definitely awaited.

The fact that a lower division side can score Barcelona not just one goal but multiple goals says alot about the team, Barcelona are very gullible right now and even in their last champions league match a lower side won them.
I don't know if the board of directors at Barcelona are experimenting or don't have any clue on what to do because that would explain why Xavi is still Barcelona's head coach.

I fail to see why we should hold Xavi accountable for every Barcelona game because he always uses the players that are supposed to be playing. Even if what you say is true but in the end we must realize that the coach will be the last target for not being able to develop Barcelona's performance and play.

I am actually not surprised at all that Barcelona is still behind Girona. You can pick a single game of course and then see that Girona made some weak plays during a certain game, but when you consider all the games combined, the simple explanation why Girona is ahead of Barcelona is because Girona is playing better than Barcelona in all respects. Girona has the best offense in La Liga by far and in comparison to Barcelona their defense is about the same, only slightly weaker than Barcelona's defense. But this is the problem Barcelona has. Their strikers don't function the way they want them to. That's the reason why Xavi freaked out about Lewandowski and screamed at him that he should finally start to run more. There is a lot of pressure in Barcelona and it isn't getting better.

Girona has got really good potential with the la Liga , before now I wasn't confident about them regardless of the fact that they were at the top of the table earlier but after they won Atletico recently they some of my doubts began to clear to the fact that they have won elite team aswell as they have been winning smaller teams.

Girona will end up securing a good spot on the top four if they are unable to win the league trophy by the end of the league this season, Barcelona has got a good squad currently and the fact that their finance isn't allowing them add more players to the squad shouldn't really be a problem because bif they have got a good tactical approach alongside their current squad they will be able to do so well both in the UCL and in the la Liga but then xavi seem not to have figured out a good tactics that fits the team well enough to be able to get them to winning or getting to the top of the standing.

In my opinion, Barcelona will definitely bring in new players in the transfer market this winter, but their spending on players is limited and they are looking for very affordable prices because Barcelona is experiencing a financial crisis which has a big impact on this. The fact that a lower division side can score Barcelona not just one goal but multiple goals says alot about the team, Barcelona are very gullible right now and even in their last champions league match a lower side won them.
I don't know if the board of directors at Barcelona are experimenting or don't have any clue on what to do because that would explain why Xavi is still Barcelona's head coach.

I fail to see why we should hold Xavi accountable for every Barcelona game because he always uses the players that are supposed to be playing. Yes, we all know that Barcelona is a formidable team in La Liga, and we hope that they will always remain that way, but we also need to keep in mind that we can't always count on the team to perform well. Real Madrid did not win the league title last season, but they did not blame the coach because they understood that a team should not always be winning a match. Barcelona, on the other hand, won the Liga last season despite their lacklustre performance in the Champions League.

I agree with you, I don't see why Xavi is to be blamed for what Barcelona are going through right now. There is no way that they Barcelona will be winning the league every season. If they are not winning the games now, I think the team is just in a transition and will do better next season if they buy the right players. For me Xavi has done well as a coach.

Yeah in teams like Girona when youa re doing so good with this players in some cases is not so good to bting new players and disbalance the team, you only have to buy a player in a position where you know you only have 1 player for that position and in case of a injuty put the new one.
