There are Cadiz - Barcelona and Mallorca - Real Madrid games regarding the 'title race' next week. These games are both between Champions League legs for both favourite sides here. I feel like one of these favourites will stumble in their game but which one?    I feel like it might be Barcelona while Cadiz are on the verge of the relegation zone.

It feels a bit weird since some analysis suggest Simeone has evolved, and Atletico Madrid is not as defensive as they were in the past. They still use the same principle though, but some suggest they're trying to build from the back and let a striker chase the ball more often[1]. I mean, they managed to be quite productive even though they switched to a traditionally defensive formation, which people conclude happened because the attacking phase becomes more fluid with the formation change[2]. The quarter final games have been drawn, now it's seeming like a reincarnating battle. The rivalry continues and it all seems unpredictable. The odds for team qualifications are a bit difficult to predict as  the game only gets tougher now and a lot has to be put into consideration without neglecting how different the performance may turn out on the field of play. PSG will battle out with Barcelona, Arsenal with Munich, Real Madrid with City and Atletico with Dortmund.

Both Real Madrid and Barcelona have matches coming up in the Uefa Champions League, so it makes both their schedules kind of equal. So the pressure on both team's players should be equal. There are 8 matches remaining in the La Liga for Barcelona and Real, and one of them are Real Madrid vs Barcelona itself.  I don't think Barcelona cannot comeback or re-join the competition to fight for the La Liga trophy. But if they want to, they need to beat Real Madrid in their matchup against them. This match would decide many things.

El CLasico on April 22 will be the deciding factor for Barcelona whether they can still compete for the title or not.
Mathematically, with 8 matches remaining and 8 points behind, it is still possible for Barcelona to catch Real Madrid, but I also think realistically that Real Madrid has strength and consistency so the percentage is very small for Barceona who can only hope that Real Madrid loses a lot of points in remaining games this season.

The most realistic thing for both teams at the moment is to shift focus to the Champions League match, I think both teams will do that

I don't like when I am missing really important news. I strongly believe this was the main motivation behind alonso rejected offers from liverpool and munich. The latest news suggest that xabi alonso talked with the players of real madrid in the dressing room.

As revealed by Relevo, Alonso is already a talking point among the Real Madrid squad. A large part of the squad believes that the Leverkusen manager wants to coach Los Blancos once his time there is over, which is why he has decided to continue there, and rejected approaches from Bayern and Liverpool.

It certainly makes sense for Real Madrid to go for Alonso in 2025. He’s one of the top managers in the world at the moment – they already have one of those in Ancelotti, but he is close to retirement, which could arrive at the end of next season. That would pave the way for Alonso to join.
