Feel for Xavi. His hands are bound. The club is broke, therefore he cant sign big players to compete. No recipe for success, in my opinion. His back-and-forth about leaving may be a power move to get the board to relax the purse strings. This is a risk, and Im not convinced it will pay off.

I like Yamal and Lopez - great potential. However, academy players alone cannot win a title. You need battle-tested leaders. Barca must solve the money problem or adapt their play. Atletico Madrid's victory is normal and they have proven themselves to be a team that deserves to remain in the Champions League zone next season. I know Atletico Madrid has also had its ups and downs in form this season, but then again they are a big team who have history in La Liga instead of Girona.
