This year’s IEM Katowice is so stacked with amazing teams, and this match is no different regarding team power. This quarter final match will be played in the best of 3 format, luckily for the fans. To this IEM 2020 playoffs, NaVi came from group A lower bracket. They have faced FaZe in the round 1 of the upper bracket. They won that match 2-1, but sadly for them, fnatic surprisingly beat them in the next round with the same score. We know that NaVi is a lower bracket team, with amazing runs in other CS:GO tournaments. Situation here is not different. They’ve beaten NiP and FaZe again to qualify for the IEM Katowice 2020 playoffs. On the other side, Team Liquid played only 3 matches: 2-0 vs VirtusPro, 2-1 vs Evil Geniuses and 0-2 vs G2. Those results did put them as 2nd placed team in their group B. According to the odds for this match, NaVi are slightly favoured. Current odds on NaVi win are 1.84. Amazing odds if you want to bet on the winner of this match. I do believe NaVi are the favourites here. All depends on the map pool, but NaVi impressed me more in the group stages, and surely they have potential to win this. My match prediction: NaVi victory.

Why Aggressive Mode? They have just returned from WePlay! Dota 2 Tug of War: Mad Moon. Even though they didn’t go far in the tournament, they showed some good matches and games vs NiP and Nigma. Because of that, I’m picking them to win this match. forZe is a decent squad, but I think Aggressive Mode will surprise them here. They are not a top tier team, but they surely can do some mess in the scene. They are the only team that still didn’t play any matches in this group stage. forZe has 2 wins and 1 loss.

My first bets for Dota 2 Minor are here. All matches are BO3.

First fixture marks the first meeting between these two rosters, as Gentlemen (previous forZe roster) never played against J.Storm and Business Associates have yet to clash with forZe in their short history in the Dota 2 scene. Even so, picklebet seems to agree that Business Associates are the favourites to claim the spoils. That seems fair, considering J.Storm were a solid team with several accolades under their belt, but the ex-Gentlemen are no pushovers. ForZe have picked up the pace in recent times, which is enough for us to believe they can keep business associates on their toes and push the series into three maps which may be a good bet too. Otherwise, Business Associates victory, good odds on that.

Aster is going to Kyiv after a chain of unfortunate events at Chinese qualifiers. They looked great at ESL One Los Angeles CN qualifier group stage but lost it all in the playoffs. They lost to EHOME but earned 4th place and a spot on StarLadder Minor CN qualifier. There Aster was better than Avengers, Newbee and Keen Gaming to go through to StarLadder Minor and face BOOM in the Group A opening match. BOOM Esports took 5-6th place in SEA qualifier for ESL One Los Angeles and entered the StarLadder Minor SEA Qualifiers. There BOOM surprisingly defeated TNC Predator in the opening match and put a great start towards winning the qualifiers. So, BOOM defeated Reality Rift twice 2-0 and 3-1 to advance to StarLadder Minor and play with Team Aster. According to the latest odds, Team Aster are big favorites to win the BOOM match. While the odds on BOOM is a bit higher, my match prediction is still in favor of Team Aster in this BO3 match.

In 2020 Alliance Dota 2 team has already earned $80K by finishing 4th in DreamLeague Season 13. However, the EU Alliance roster failed to qualify for ESL One Los Angeles taking only 7th place in the EU qualifier, however that allowed them to participate in the StarLadder Minor EU qualifier. Alliance managed to appear the best team among Nigma, Liquid and Aggressive Mode and take the only Europe spot on StarLadder Minor. This will be the last chance to qualify for the Los Angeles Major. NoPing is a Brazilian team that replaced two players on February 4. With the renewed roster they took 5-6th place in ESL One Los Angeles Major South America closed qualifier. But surprisingly won SA qualifier for StarLadder Minor in competition with FURIA Esports, paiN Gaming and Infamous. According to the latest odds, Alliance is a huge favorite to win vs NoPing. However, I agree with the bookies this time, Alliance is the tournament favorite and should win the Brazilians easily. Therefore, for this match, I suggest going with -1.5 handicap bet on Alliance, which means they will win 2-0.

[DOTA 2] My picks and predictions for Kyiv Minor day 2:

Business Associates vs BOOM: Business Associates, 1.60 @ BetOnBit

NoPing e-sports - CR4ZY: CR4ZY, 1.90 @ BetOnBit

Group A started in a really interesting fashion. Business Associates surprisingly lost to forZe in a close 1-2 series. From group A Team Aster is the first team to advance to the playoffs. With 2-0 vs BOOM and 2-0 vs forZe they showed why they are one of the favourites in this Dota 2 tournament. This match will be amazing, as I don’t think Business Associates will take this easily. They have a better lineup on paper, but we saw that doesn’t mean anything. Can Indonesian squad surprise us? I don’t think so. At best they can win a map, but otherwise this is a big opportunity for Business Associates to take this match and join forZe in the decider match of the group A. My pick here is: Business Associates win.

A lot of people expected Alliance would finish at the top of the group B. It didn’t happen. Gambit crushed their competition and with 2-0 vs CR4ZY and 2-0 vs Alliance and they have finished as 1st. 2nd place is still open, and I think Gambit is the biggest favourite to take it. NoPing lost to Alliance, CR4ZY lost to Gambit and here we are. Odds on CR4ZY are insanely good. They have an amazing squad on paper, and with TI winner Aui on board as their captain, they surely must win this match. I think Brazilians don’t have many chances here, and CR4ZY are big favourites here in my eyes. But bookies think otherwise, they are giving more chances to NoPing. My decision here is easy, as my prediction goes to CR4ZY. They will win this match.

I thought this Cr4zy team is a new one. I haven't checked it lately that this was the Fighting Panda's and it seems they were disbande due to Envy's usual behavior of leaving his teammates and changing to another team which is his old team, Cloud9 (C9).

I'll also choose Cr4zy on this match. No Ping e-sports is probably the 2nd-3rd strongest team in South America, next to Beastcoast but the other team is composed of more experienced players including, 1 TI winner(Aui) and major winner (Moonmeander).
