but now everything changes as bitcoin got a good exposure to the public and there are laws needed to comply so anonymity is not a big deal for now. It will be an issue if you are been ask to do so with small and untrusted platforms since we don't know on how they will keep our private identity, but if legit sites like Roobet ask it well lets not b worried since they are reputable and for sure they will not leak it, they also have a reputation to protect and they are trusted casino exist here.
Absolutely wrong on so many levels. Majority of the cryptocurrency investors will always hate KYC no matter how popular BTC and other cryptocurrencies become due to the anonymity factor.

Don't you read the news? You clearly have no idea how scary some hackers are these days. They have hacked way bigger powerhouses when compared to Roobet.
I know that the majority of investors do not like KYC but this is for the sake of security and regulations and if there is no system like this then there will be a lot of money laundering which includes gambling which will ease the crime rate and will be a big problem too.
I also know there has been a lot of bad news about the black market selling hacked identities on several websites but that is not half of the total and I believe Roobet guarantees the identity requested if it is approved.
The current system may have been tightened and I rarely see a hacked gambling site.

Guys, I believe is time to move on for"KYC" discussion this discussion already over the past few weeks and become never ended discussion. If you feel disagree with the activity of Roobet Team for this KYC issue.

Then you can freely go on an alternative site, and you can always come back again while this KYC issue already removed by "Roobet Team" itself. KYC in a real world casino? Probably to check the age factor while the thing is completely different in the online world. Your data can be breached and can be used for illicit purposes so if government tracks the person who scammed someone then you will be showing as the who did that,

Are you ready to face the legal penalty if there such things happen?

Not everyone can even afford for legal advice so they have to take the punishment and lead their remaining life in a prison?
Can we just all agree that it was a bad move to do this without asking the gamblers first? I mean that legal advice thing alone itself is good enough, if I have money here I want to be in charge of my money here, if they take decision based on whatever they want, that is the peak point of any centralization, roobet basically made a decision about my money without asking me, how could that be acceptable.

I understand that they can keep growing, they could be a 2x bigger casino in a year even after this, it is all about marketing and if they are making a good amount of profit that means they will be capable of doing it all over again. However one thing is for sure, if people are not sure about if they want to give KYC or not, one thing they have to ask themselves is : "Would you mind if your government knew how much and where you gamble?", if you do not mind go ahead and play, if you do then stop.
Even the Roobet knows that having KYC is a backlog for them but since they are working from such license they have to accept the chances in the policies or have to move to other country where KYC is still no needed, for now KYC may not be ready to move their license but in future, they will if they lose their traffic level especially after the KYC implementation.

It is a bad and probably desribed as 'wrong' in this crypto gambling space but it has been done and implemented by Roobet. In case if you are not satisfied with this then the simplest thing you can do is to play in another casino that doesnt ask for your KYC. You can also voice your opinion through their live support instead of just complaining over and over in this thread ?

Im pretty sure Roobet wont change this though

This KYC stuff isnt new, if you are into crypto space then you know almost all exchanges require you to submit KYC as well

KYC thing is a Old issue and have just been used by those who hates to reveal their illegal activities.

Because for long time now we all know that this will happen and will be implemented in all areas of crypto, because government will never allow us to Hide our identity when talking about profiteering or issues about fundings.

Despite of my disappoint, i have to agree on this one and move on the KYC thing, you still have the choice to fill up or not, leaving Roobet should be your last choice and you have to think for it because Roobet is a great gambling site despite of this. Its too late now for Roobet team to removed the KYC level 1, many already filled this one.

As a player of this website then you do have your own choice.Take it or Leave it as simple as that because not all would really be that confident about filling up that KYC.
If you do believe that you wont really be making big winnings then you can always opt out on putting fake details but earlier said that this isnt really that recommended
but honestly it isnt really that much of an issue if you do just apply KYC level 1 imho.

Disappointment is normal when the thing is we don't really see this happening that soon while we have already read that in their TOS from the very beginning.

But what we must be thankful is that Roobet is the best gambling site now and accept that , we can find many gambling site nowadays but This company is one of the very best we can have so bare with it and make your gambling activities safer than never.

This is what causing the issue, if you think people don't want KYC just because they are involved in doing illegal activities then it's a completely wrong statement. Actually they care about their personal life and don't want a private company to know their personal asset value, anyway its enough to talk about KYC please don't drag it anymore guys.

Its a personal choice whether they are willing to accept KYC or not.

Fun fact is that those who are against the KYC implementation in roobet are not even gamblers who actively playing in roobet. I haven't seen any real gamblers (whales) in roobet who are complaining about this thing as I believe they wont be really care about this thing since they are wagering a lot of money which is worth to fill the KYP up. It does not worth indeed for small gamblers or recreational gamblers so it is indeed about choice. Players are free to leave if they cant accept the rules.

Actually, we have no right to complain as the site itself is just follow the regulators, if we don't feel comfortable then we can always find another site to play. I still believe that despite the KYC, there are still a lot of loyal gamblers playing this site.

^ Who knows, you will never know, one of those who commented in here is the big player on Roobet. Grin
That is right that players are free what they want if the site implemented such additional rules like this then it is up to them. Besides, level one verification is not about submitting a picture together with your valid ID, just like on the exchange site. There is nothing we can do and players have a right to decide, take it, or leave it. If you will trust the site then, KYC verification is not the problem.

Obviously it is 100% fact that if you are a big whale that gambles you will want KYC, it is not even being "do not mind KYC" unlike us, it is literally wanting KYC because they are gambling so much. They would want to guarantee everything that could possibly be so that they could get that guarantee that they would be fixed up about it. That is why I think it is quite important that we realize roobet might be focusing on what the money says and not what the mouth says.

If the money flows towards KYC then it doesn't matter if a billion people with 1 cent says no KYC as long as there is one guy with a billion dollars saying yes to KYC that makes a lot more sense. That is why I think roobet checked what the whales wanted and they went with that. It makes sense honestly and I would definitely expect them to do something like this, who would care what people say when money says the opposite?

Can we just stop arguing to each other about the KYC? There will be always pro and cons for everything in this world.
Simply take it if you do not mind with it or leave it if you do not like it.
Every site has their own rules/terms and players are free to decide what to do.
I have to agree with Sanitough, sooner or later KYC will be something mandatory in any crypto related services especially if it is related to the regulation.
Means that other sites wont change their policies just because other sites change the policies but there must be other specific reason why a site change their policies.

Let's make yourself easy than rather make it hard of yourself even the KYC procedure already implemented the wagering all time is keep increase to next milestone.
True, we are endless discussing KYC which is implemented on Roobet I think this is not that important and I have completed KYC on roobet for the sake of me playing there and I believe my identity is definitely safe for privacy in it.

I will not bother with this if you do not like there are still many alternative sites as you say but honestly for me every alternative site will definitely me too I also will not continue to be on Roobet but when you want to find luck it will try from others.

Let's think clearly, don't be full of pros and cons.

This KYC stuff isnt new, if you are into crypto space then you know almost all exchanges require you to submit KYC as well
Also, this KYC on Roobet isn't that hard to pass because it's only a level 1 KYC. I remember the headache I was experiencing when passing harder KYCs on some exchanges and gambling sites, so this on Roobet is an easy one.

Actually, we have no right to complain as the site itself is just follow the regulators,
Exactly. Why would Roobet do that if it wasn't legally binding? They don't need that stuff, they just must comply with the law.

in some sites that I use their kyc works with level .
The high the level of kyc you complete the nicer the benefits you will unlocked .
Completing first to second level of kyc gives minimal limits but that should be enough for small volume transactions and low level kyc is easy to complete but does Roobet only has 1 level of kyc ? and how about their limits , it must be high I guess to accommodate large bettors .

Based up on others feedbacks the KYC 1 is just a simple one which is composed of your name, address and other those basic information but a little bit lighter since no documentation would be sent out.

I agree that there are some sites that does have level type of KYC where you can access out a certain feature depending on what you had complied on, same goes for exchanges
which is a bit typical.

They're laying the groundwork for what is inevitably going to come in the future and that's full KYC. Used to play at Bitstarz quite a bit back in the day and ended up hitting pretty big one session. Cashed out and didn't play there for years. I tried to play recently and they wanted all my information. The only site that I was willing to complete KYC for was bovada. Not sure if I would trust a site like roobet or stake with my information.
