I think you misread his point since seems you miss quote or didn't understand what he say since his statement is not to put any fake details which is really advisable since once trouble occur then we will struggle to verify our claims since its hard to prove the ownership if we input a fake details unto their casino. So if anyone afraid about this KYC submission things well maybe they should pass to play to avoid any confusion or worries about their identity submitted.

Is there still anyone who just asks for images of your ID card / Passport and then verifies the user? I guess, lately, people are asked to take selfies with their documents in live and they can't upload images from the gallery.
So, even if you can upload images instead of live shoot, if you fill the fake data, I think it will look suspicious for them and will ask you for more details. Sometimes, these are bills or bank transactions.

There isn't 100% guaranteed way for them to make sure that they know the actual user because someone may ask his father, mother or grandparents for KYC verifications and they'll do it easily. Or someone may pay some bucks to their friends and they'll give away all the information in a second. But it doesn't happen always.

Most probably selfie part is not omitted to confirm that document shared by the user are his/her own not forging anything and takes some time to verify them before giving you clean chit.But maybe only selfie without id is valid with documents uploaded seperately like click the live image with camera of your phone not uploading it from you storage.

^ Probably those big players will commonly fall on into this KYC procedure for sure, those who are willing to spend millions of dollars in gambling and to have less doubt by gambling company that the money you have used does not come from money laundering, it required a high level of KYC just like video conferencing. At least, those KYC can prevent the scammers who do not have many skills to trick the exchange or the casino or other services and the scammers will think twice to verify themselves.
I see that the exchange joined with the face verification company to verify the new members and they are trying to reduce the fake identity doing by people.
If many companies use it that way, I think the scammers will not easily use fake documents because they need to do live verification using their cam or mobile phone.
It is not just a selfie using a mobile phone but we need to hold our identity with a selfie.

well we know how strict Australian government is so yeah they will implement such KYC verification with video conference specially if the involved amount is Big and must be regulated.
But for me personally , i will not use this kind of exchange if there are others that available in my place but if not then either i will never trade ? or will comply to the KYC procedure .

This is a great idea in my opinion. Some crypto casinos usually require KYC after a certain limit is reached while some others don't set any limits whatsoever for withdrawal purposes, but KYC for wagering is different.

However, $1000 per week(No Verification) which you suggested is way too low due to reasons like races, bonuses etc. Something around $5k - $10k per week would be optimal in my opinion.

I Don't think that Roobet will implement such kind of KYC because that is too much to ask, sending some documents is enough unless maybe there is a big amount to claim and your account is something in question so it is a companies prerogative to seek for video requirements .

It can be accepted to send the documents if that gambler is winning a very big amount or deposit a big amount because Roobet does not want to get a problem if that money comes from the money launder.
