Today I deposited some money on roobet wich cost me a total transaction fee of 0,12$.

Now that I want to withdraw that money, roobet estimates a withdrawal transaction fee of 9$ if I choose the slow option and like 11$ for the fast option.

It's an impressive result, the attention that Roobet has received up to this point is well deserved. They arrange various promotional schemes regularly, and 2Billion bets means a lot to them. My concern is what the heck is wrong with their twitter page? There has not been a single promo code delivered by them in the past seven days.

Usually, the withdrawal fees in casino are based on the current blockchain(miners) transaction fee^[1] plus their service fee (e.g, maintaining their wallet, processin, etc..) which could sometimes cost you a lot. And as far as I know, casino usually collect all the transactions which could affect the "input" resulting to a higher transaction fee.

I think its same on every casino. Since the bitcoin price is high, you will have to bear high withdrawal fee if you want withdraw in btc.

That's why people prefer to withdraw in other altcoins like litecoin and safe on the withdrawal fees.

Withdrawal fee is not always the transaction fee, its transaction fee along with misc which can be their wallet maintenance fee and service fee,etc.

Some casino have more fee structure than Roobet so it varies from one to another.

Withdrawal fee is not always the transaction fee, its transaction fee along with misc which can be their wallet maintenance fee and service fee,etc.

So I just decided to continue to play with my balance, ended up with 100$ and made a withdrawal. 100$ equals about 2mBTC right now. Roobet sent me 1.99655 mBTC which is a fee of less than 0,2% which leads me to the conclusion that the estimated fee that was  shown (which would've been nearly 10% here) was just way off. I don't know if this is always the case and I am not responsible if you make a withdrawal and the fees end up being higher!

In conclusion: The games I played were good and the site speed is insanely fast (probably the fastest online casino I've played on). Withdrawals are really fast and mine was also nearly free. I made 100$ out of 15$ and wish everyone playing good luck

Roobet withdrawal feature is giving an option to their users about the speed of the transaction the lower the transaction fee it might take for a minute to hour depends if it's congested again it depends on it. If you want to take up the funds immediately it might cost expensive. Still it's better to get up the minimum withdrawal for their platform to process the transaction. Huge wager gamblers having small fees does not affect too much.

Customers might not understand how transaction and mempool work. They choose option with cheap fee and sometimes their transactions will be stucked in the mempool. LOL! I'll take it as a compliment. Again, it's just that making digital drawings are my thing and I have experience doing it for many years to the point where most of my side hustles are doing commissioned digital services whether creating portraits, stickers, and original characters.

I have seen what you just described a long time ago but that video conference can still be faked in a way, some scammers aren't even scared using that even though their face is already there but in this case it's pretty easy to fake in my opinion, a fake beard and some make up could sometimes do the trick.

The way it was done at Bitpanda, you would have to use deepfakes to actually fake it. For example, the face was photographed from several different perspectives ("turn your head down, turn your head left and right, nod, ...) and compared exactly with the ID shown. This was then also checked for validity after the video call.

Of course, it is not impossible, but the effort to fake the ID would be incredibly high in my opinion.

As per the transaction fee, I am no expert. You'll just need to monitor closely the status of the mempool ahead whenever you are planning to withdraw you money.

Mempool is almost empty for months now so we just need 1 sat/byte for the transaction to be processed in the next block itself on most of the occasions but service platforms are not only collecting the required Mempool fee as the withdrawal fee so that casinos are not an exception to it.

In the last two weeks, the mempool shows 2 block of transaction that costs around 8-10 sats/vbyte. And in the last 48 hours, there is a massive bloat in the mempool with a minimum transaction fees of 10 sats/vbyte as well which I think could be the reason why there is a sudden spike in Roobet's withdrawal free.

Though most of the time Roobet's withdrawal fee is much higher than the actual on chain fee, we can't do something about it other than to wait or cash out a large chunk of money.
