The question that may need to be answered, why do we not have the option to delete KYC document if we no longer use a gambling site?
This would require a more detailed knowledge of the regulations. Here in Europe, KYC documents (and trading activities, for example) must be stored for 7 years so that the data is still available in the event of a crime. In this case, you do not have the right to insist on the deletion of your data.

I assume, however, that such regulations are very similar worldwide and will therefore also apply to Roobet in a similar form. The only possibility as an end user if you do not want this is not to use the offered service (exchange, gambling platform, ...) and to switch to alternatives that do not require KYC.
agree, if we really don't want to do KYC then it is highly recommended to use other platforms that don't need it...

Even though I don't play on roobet often, I have already completed KYC there. I believed in roobet from the start, and firmly believe my personal data is safe with roobet, although the risk is still there.

But what if the other site require it also in future? Maybe I will choose to use roobet if thats the case since first they are reputable and second they are big casino which we can safely used. But if you don't like to do this well maybe its time to avoid and start to think if you still want to play or not.

Also I think in future online casinos will require this to their gamblers so we better prepare ourself unto this options.

Very Few that we will find a gambling site that has no KYC requirements , Some doesn't implement it all the way but it was written in  their TOS about their rights
to ask for KYC if necessary meaning that though others does not requires you means they will never ask in future.

Most specially if we are talking of Big amount of withdrawals.

Thats a Good first step mate because sooner or later you will be active in Playing again and since you find roobet is one trustworthy site eventually you will play more on this.

You don't need to worry about data breach situation if you are using trusted casino service like Roobet even after you are not ready to play on it.You need KYC documentation for huge withdrawal only and once you start winning it's no longer an obligation. So why not ask Facebook and Google who are selling your personal data information on dark web for sale and that's a major issue for us as every person is using their services from a long time.Once submitted documents are already saved with them for long time and you cannot delete them.Being annoymous is preference for crypto players but you need to cope up with some legit casinos as they do not want funds exploitation and security of players.

If in the future other sites also need it, then inevitably we will definitely do KYC because this cannot refuse, it has become a rule that has been implemented, maybe almost all of them, so you have to prepare which option is better, roobet is also a big site. Until now there are still many enthusiasts but I am not a problem, and if this disturbs with that condition then I leave.

But it is true that someday in the future the KYC implementation system on crypto gambling sites will definitely be held the same as Roobet even though many of the platforms are against it.

However, if a hack happens, your details could get leaked to outsiders which is why handing over your KYC details is a risky proposition no matter how genuine the site in question is.
This fact has been discussed and warned many time and should get the attention of anyone wishing to gamble on a site asking us to complete KYC. Nothing is completely safe for me online, so we should consider that from the start. I don't mind if a very reputable gambling site asks me to complete KYC, but I don't know how long that document will be kept by the site. So far, I think they will keep it forever even though we no longer use the site.

The question that may need to be answered, why do we not have the option to delete KYC document if we no longer use a gambling site?
Deleting or trashing up those documents would always depend on the company if they do consider on doing it out if a certain user would be leaving or wouldnt play anymore in the website
but its much better on not to expect or anticipate that they would do such thing since they will really be storing up those informations on a database which might they can use it later on
for other purpose who knows right? Same as yours on where im not really that much confident when submitting any documents on any service out there even with those
transactions that do happen in real life where we do need to submit documentations etc.

We want gambling sites to get the license and be regulated, now this is the consequences of those license since some gambling site are working with the permit, they have to follow the regulations and Maybe Roobet is being forced to implement the KYC right away. I believe, one day we will fill up those KYC because we have no more choice, level 1 KYC is fine just like on exchanges, it hope they didn’t force us again to submit documents.

No more choice if the user wants to play into this site they must agree on any term and service such as submit the document etc.

I am confusing if the user connecting to social media accounts such as Facebook. Is still should complete AML level 1?.

I know out there we can easily find the seller's Facebook account with different ID cards and KYC, If Roobet can connecting without AML level 1 it maybe can breaking the rules for the user with a fake Identity.

Let me ask you, once you give your KYC details to any site, will they keep it or just throw it away without any backup? Obviously all sites have backup about their KYC user details, so what's point to have an option to delete our KYC? That doesn't make any sense. If you don't like KYC, just don't play on here

Actually this question don't need to be spammed over and over , Just play in site you are comfortable with and pass if not.

Casino has their own rules and Ideas how to run their site ,  they don't even force us to play so let us not Force them also to Obey what we wanted to change because it is their site, its their rules.

The casino will never delete our KYC documents. If anyone care too much about the kyc, then stop playing at such sites which ask for your KYC. Another thing to note that even if the site claim that they have deleted your KYC, how can we be sure if they actually did this ? There is no way to know about it.

You raise an excellent question. My understanding is that, in accordance with the GDPR, every user should have the right to delete personal data from any platform that requires KYC.
I'm not sure if it's the same with Roobet as well since I haven't checked. Could someone please confirm whether this is possible within the account settings or if customer support is required in such a case.

As far as I know, all the details of the user should be terminated and permanently deleted if it ever happened that the user decide to delete his account.

As of the moment, if you want your account to be deleted, you will need to send and email to roobet regarding the subject. I've seen that we can edit our level 1 KYC.

Quite often Roobet platform used to conduct different contests such as hand art, digital art, clay works highlighting Roo. Its been long since new contests were open. Possibly the market crash seems to be the reason. Also then onwards the prizepool for every event will be lowered by the gambling sites. Already few has begun it.

As far as I know there is a currently open art contest from Roobet. It will be ended in the end of this might I believe.

Here is the link of the contest: Roobet.com |Roo in Space Art Contest ~ $5000 up for grabs! |10 Winners - 1 Month

You can submit up to 2 artworks and can win 2 prizes from those works! Goodluck if you're joining Smiley

Every single months roobet.com comes with many various campaigns, as far as I can remember in games and rounds their some popular contests like guess the slots, deposit race that anyone can take part.

I have taken part Roobet.com video review campaign, same campaigns still live at service board: Roobet.com | YouTube Review Video | Earn up to $50! - Ends May 5th!

I have taken part Roobet.com video review campaign, same campaigns still live at service board: Roobet.com | YouTube Review Video | Earn up to $50! - Ends May 5th!

I'm not sure if that one is still active. As stated in the title, campaign ended May 5th.
I recommend waiting for the manager's official announcement.

There's a little confusion but I do believe the following campaign still alive until any announcement will come from manager.
So, Based on my past experience I get it's reasonable enough to take part of this campaign till now.

The question that may need to be answered, why do we not have the option to delete KYC document if we no longer use a gambling site?
You don't need to worry about data breach situation if you are using trusted casino service like Roobet even after you are not ready to play on it.You need KYC documentation for huge withdrawal only and once you start winning it's no longer an obligation.
The trust you give to these centralized platforms are mind boggling. Have you not read anything about leakage of customer information from supposedly "trusted" or "reputable" sites? Does Ledger ring a bell?

BITCOIN4X is probably asking this since it's also allowed under GDPR's Right to erasure or right to be forgotten. Roobet may not be covered by that rule but it's not bad to ask.

Isn't it obvious? They wanted to achieve certain goals through their contests and they probably achieved them which is why they aren't conducting them regularly anymore. It's not like they have an infinite bankroll.

The trust you give to these centralized platforms are mind boggling. Have you not read anything about leakage of customer information from supposedly "trusted" or "reputable" sites? Does Ledger ring a bell?
This is exactly what I highlighted in some of my earlier posts. Roobet isn't impenetrable or anything. Hackers were able to hack way bigger sites like FB, Binance etc.

Well, then come to India, things are even worst here. It is illegal to do gambling in this country and there is no need to do KYC because we don't really have gambling sites here.

Casino's like Roobet has given us pretty good expansion and so I wouldn't mind doing my KYC here. I have already done it and so far I am comfortable with it.
I feel good about these Crypto currency based casino's for this one reason, they are virtually anonymous.  Tongue

I don't think a casino with billion bets would ever break the trust of their customers.
I hope India does better with pandemic as well, I hear on TV and youtube and news that India is not doing good right now on pandemic and I hope that will get better. KYC on the other hand is a doom to many other nations, USA, many EU nations, almost every single middle east, few African nations (rest not allow it, just don't have law about it) and a few Asian ones we all know as well.

It is basically a way of saying "if you want to gamble here, do something illegal, and also give your information so that when you get caught we can give all your information to government so you can be jailed" and that is what people are going against. The "voluntary" KYC is understandable, if you win a lot of money here and they ask for your KYC and you do not give them that is optional and you may end up giving them your KYC as well if you want, but if you are asked even without gambling that has been a problem and been talked for like 10+ pages now.

This is exactly the point that makes KYC so dangerous to me, no one can guarantee you that your data won't be stolen or like in the 2017 ICO era where every airdrop required KYC, simply resold without anyone ever knowing about it. This data is unfortunately worth a lot of money, especially scanned passports or other identification documents.

With KYC Level 1 (name + address) as with Roobet, however, I have fewer concerns, this is basically data that, for example, here in my country everyone is allowed to see for free.
