Well said, but does the criminal record history of the player really matter that much to be able to play on casino? I mean, if the record was already years or some decades ago, will it still be a factor of them to not be able to withdraw or play to the site? Same thought. Criminal records is just a history of a person doing an illegal thing. As long as the gambler has no standing case or have fled it's punishment's, I think it won't bring a harm to any casino. this KYC issue is something very serious and sensitive, I'll give an example that happened to me on this forum a few weeks ago:

a few weeks ago (if memory doesn't betray me it was less than 3 weeks ago) a new casino came on this forum and it was offering a 5$ bonus, so I created an account at this new casino (they didn't have KYC and that's why I didn't do KYC) , I played on plink and turned the 5$ into 13$ and then I lost everything, the next day I went to read my emails and I am surprised to receive spam emails talking about promotion of this new casino that gave me 5$, the dangerous part is that it is not it was the casino's email address, it was a private email address or either the casino either sold my data or was hacked and someone took the emails of all users. Now imagine if I had KYC in this new casino that offered a 5$ bonus? at this hour I wouldn't be sleeping well I'm so scared thinking what some criminal would do with my data

Indeed. Thus to avoid problem in the future it would be better to refrain from playing using vpn since its in the rules or ask the support team for their written consent (stated in their TOS).
