Hi,
The dev has been somewhat unresponsive, so I still haven't been able to get Poloniex's wallet running properly. After the last incident with Polo's wallet causing a fork, I asked him if I should disable forging -- I was not sure which would be best for the network, as sometimes having an exchange forge/stake can be beneficial. He told me to continue forging.
But it now occurs to me that forging may be what is causing Poloniex's wallet to malfunction. Since I haven't heard from the dev in a while, I'm turning to the community -- does anyone know how I can disable it in the command line wallet? Is there something I can put in settings.json?

Version 18 is now available.https://mega.co.nz/#!a8gBlTaR!qilS-9NrDvBzGSg0V6IOKLk4_FEXqLIdnRnQSSooelUhttp://qora.org/Qora.v18.zipMD5: 799A733C886C833AA15E3B8A57D8FB1A SHA-1: 494C525CBC2403B1FFEC8DA35ECF013EBCFAC052 Please download the application from the original post and not from a quote. - Reworked the closing of the application. Closing the application by force should no longer be required. When you close the application by force while it is processing a block, you will receive an error the next time you start it up.
- Fixed a problem while synchronizing that caused the database to become corrupt.
- Fixed multiple rounding issues on the assets GUI.
- Fixed a problem where cancelling an order that created a trade caused problems for the GUI.
- Fixed a problem where an order could create empty trades.
Do you perform the SHA-1 hash on the zip file or on the unpacked files? Mine don't match on the zip file. I used the link to the qora.org website.

Just posting here to confirm that assuming the "crowdfunding" for the project is a success then the AT development team (myself, vbecas and btc2nxt) will be working along with the Qora development team to integrate AT.
i quited from AT team. i am continuing the working of NxtAT. and i must clarify that i didn't know the crowdfunding and this confirmation before they are posted, i knew them from vbecas on Oct 12. I guess this is shocking news. Does this have implications for the development of AT for Qora?

Bter. Polo may still be on a fork Poloniex is not on a fork -- it is in sync with the block explorer. you can download data folder for faster sync http://qora.co.in/?datafolderfresh extract, insert data folder, recover from seed recovering the wallet may take some time in your case

Believe me, I have started completely from scratch a million times. We're past the point where that fixes things. I'm not sure if you meant to imply otherwise, but of course we back up all of our wallets.

What I meant was that we all are facing issues that require recovery of our wallets and I proposed a way to not have to recover from seed and redownload the chain each time. Making a backup the way I described ensures that the database is not corrupt (at that stage) and recovery of the wallet becomes very easy. Trust me... we ALL go offline... reducing downtime is the only thing we can do. I have had no issues with v18

Feature-wise, can anyone say something we don't have and nxt does? I know we have alias trading, voting system and asset/asset exchange which nxt does not have. The Marketplace is the main thing you missed. Nxt has been in the doldrums recently, featurewise, because the implementation switched from storing everything in memory to storing it all on disk with a database, and that was such a big change everything else had to wait. That version (1.3.1) is now live, and we can expect a backlog of other features to come rapidly over the next few months. Chances of a clone becoming bigger than qora is nearly inexistent, however it just came to my mind there's another coin which is much bigger than qora and, like qora, is based on java. In fact I think only these two coins are based in java if I'm not wrong. A clone would not be successful if they copy us, but this other coin can easily take all our features and kill qora since they have much bigger network effect. I'm guessing you mean Nxt, and I don't think it works like that. Both being written in the same language doesn't make it trivial to port features from one currency to another. Qora and Nxt are completely different source. Ideas might be reused, but that'll happen regardless. The reality is that Nxt has a long roadmap with lots of features planned, and the devs have too much on their plate already to spend time porting code from Qora. So I wouldn't worry about it, any more than Nxt worries about Qora taking the Marketplace.

I downloaded from this link http://qora.org/Qora.v18.zipThe file matched the md5 and sha-1 given, but they are shown in upper case above, and my hashing software produces results in lower case. My hashes are shown compared to the originals below. 799a733c886c833aa15e3b8a57d8fb1a 799A733C886C833AA15E3B8A57D8FB1A 494c525cbc2403b1ffec8da35ecf013ebcfac052 494C525CBC2403B1FFEC8DA35ECF013EBCFAC052
