If you would like to run Qora without the command line window you can use the Qora.exe file.
Place this file in the V14 Qora folder and run it instead of the run.bat. (windows only)

• Finally completed the GUI for assets. Assets will unlock on 19 September 5PM GMT.
• Upgraded the database. You will have to delete all your data files. Once we have the application stable future updates will patch the current database.

Now that assets has been completed, making the client 100% stable will be the first priority.
Qora will also be reorganised as the current direction is not really working.

Not upgrading to this version before 19 September 5PM GMT will make your client fork.

Anyway to answer your question. What do you mean by marketing? Every new coin has a Twitter campaign etc it achieves almost nothing. And you wont get onto CNN cause you have a new cyptocurrency.

Marketing these days is more about having an active community building stuff that brings attention to a coin. Hence OS is essential to kick start Qora. I expect Qora the developer to recognise that now.

Ok now you all know I'm Qora I have a few requests or I wont do any more developing cause everyone knows i'm the shit the when comes to developing stuff.

Anyone running qora on a mac? How do you do it?

I am.  Just download the zip file, extract it and navigate to the contataining folder from the terminal.

Just enter "./run.sh" and hit Enter.

Note, I haven't been able to get the debug window to work.  It opens, but every command I enter returns back an invalid command response.  This is the only bug that I know of that isn't common with all clients.  Like others, I still need to delete the data and reload the chain and my seed.

EDIT:  Also, be sure to close the application by the menu on the program and not from the Mac menubar.  This will help prevent some of the local db issues since the application can handle properly closing all file handles.

There is a Chance I will be the new marketing/communication staff member of Qora, But Qora and I have to talk about this construction, but what is for sure, is that there will somebody coming onboard for this job soon.

Yes and whit that said, Qora is now for more then 4 months stable around number 30 on coinmarketcap. This shows we have dedicated members who are trusting in Qora as a coin, the dev and the future of QORA.

How can i create this missing java.exe ?

Go to C:/Program Files/Java...  see which java version you are using (jre7, jre8, etc.)...  then edit the run.bat file and replace jre7 with whatever version of java you have installed.  For example...  I have updated to jre1.8.0_20 (NOT recommended) and my run.bat looks like this...
