Will Ethereum be taking 1st place in 2020?

Ethereum has been steadily on the rise for a good while now, and this first half of Q1 2020 has proven that they have brought that same energy into the new decade. They have started 2020 with a bang, more than doubling in value in just 2 months.

Ethereum start first quarter good and im sure we will get good profit here by holding this coins.  But don't expect that ETH can overtake bitcoin and become number 1, ethereum need more development and also need to fix the problem of scammes using thier platform to create coins and scam many people.

The question is wrong, it's not possible that ETH will take the number 1 spot and kick btc on its rank now.
Even if ETH has a good increase but all is attributed to the bullish movement of bitcoin, there's no major thing that cause ETH to rise, and even if its ETH 2.0 will launch this year, I still think it's not enough for people to choose ETH and leave Bitcoin.

Just get use to it, bitcoin will remain number 1 forever.

I think the better of way of saying it is, is Ethereum will remain the second spot? As you know, no one can replace Bitcoin when it comes to the number one spot, it was already discussed on different threads that there are a lot of altcoins who are better than BTC but will not replace the original, I hope this makes sense.

Ethereum will need and additional 142 billion usd before it can surpass the bitcoin market capital so this dream is kinda difficult to achieve by this year. And if you will closely check the market the bitcoin dominance is still very high which is currently sitting at 63% so we can conclude that the chances for ethereum to replace bitcoin by this year is 0%.

Even if the increase of ethereum is kinda good but if you will also check the bitcoin is also increasing and frankly speaking the ethereum is still very dependent to bitcoin because once the bitcoin price will decrease the ethereum will also follow.

This coin is really promising if you choose to invest long-term, but it may not always be able to raise prices steadily in the long run. Of course Ethereum can reach $1,000 if the price of Bitcoin rises as this is the only coin that can make the entire market recover. I don't think ethereum can be the 1st place in 2020 because we still have bitcoin that is on the 1st. As long as bitcoin still leads the crypto, ethereum will not have a chance to beat bitcoin, and ethereum will be behind on bitcoin. The first position means a lot, it explains everything. From the origin of cryptocurrency, decentralization and many more.
Ethereum as another alternative coin will not have any chance to take over Bitcoin place because most people know Bitcoin as cryptocurrency.

market Cap is too high for ethereum to make it number 1,and the same as the growth  because Bitcoin is staying strong in the number 1 position.

I don't think the price of ETH can continue to go up this year. Even the price of ETH could not surpass $ 400 because the current market has cooled and bitcoin did not grow like every investor had expected this year.

Etherum will do well this year 2020, but i do not see it taking first place on coinmarketcap.
The freedom to participate in india and south kore breathes new investors, new massive projects coming into the crypto currency space.
