I'm trading on yobit right now, something is hooked on this platform, and so. There Ethereum comes first) I understand that yobit is not on the list of the best cryptocurrency exchanges. But I do not know what is happening on other exchanges. Maybe capitulation is close there too. Of course, I do not believe that Ethereum will become the number one coin. But to be honest, I only work with it. I do not work with bitcoin.

How can ETH overcome Bitcoin and gain the No. 1 position in this market? It is completely impossible because the value of Bitcoin and ETH is completely different, I cannot find any reason to help ETH to surpass Bitcoin.

1st place you mean taking the number 1 spot from bitcoin. Ethereum might have been steadily increasing its price and so bitcoin is. When bitcoin is having a good market run, ethereum and other alts follow as well. And I don't think Ethereum will ever dethrown Bitcoin for being number 1 coins even in the launched of Ethereum 2.0 and have a good run.

How ethereum can beat Bitcoin? Is it possible for Ethereum to beat Bitcoin? I think no because Bitcoin's cap is 6 times higher than Ethereum. I believe Ethereum is the best altcoin and most popular coin after Bitcoin. Bitcoin will remain 1st and Ethereum 2nd place and this is reality.

I do not understand people who say Ethereum or other altcoins will take over the first position of Bitcoin, I am also an Ethereum fan but for the next few years I don't think Ethereum or other altcoins are able to shift Bitcoin. For now, only the second position can be contested by Ethereum and other altcoins.

Personally, I believe that the Ethereum coin will reach its limit and by the end of the 3rd quarter Ethereum will be within $ 1,000. The whole forecast is indicated by analysts who very thoroughly know the whole big picture of cryptocurrency. And accordingly, the Ethereum coin is very promising and will bring tremendous profit to all coin holders.
I also hope that this year ethereum will be able to grow in its price to thousands of dollars. This can happen if Ethereum 2.0 improvements turn out to be successful and if the cryptocurrency market goes up. This year, ethereum may be the number one coin in terms of popularity, but at the price, level of capitalization, certainly will not overtake bitcoin. |

If somehow Bitcoin goes down, most of the alts would too, but if the people don't cash out their money and just convert it to Ethereum or other alts, then that is one way there is to be in the 1st rank, but only only eth, xrp is a good candidatee too.
Every coin will follow the leader ( btc ) I agree with you but from 2019 ethereum try to built their own trust and market out side bitcoin, if success even bitcoin goes down ethereum will stagnant ( no more impact ). XRP is good choice but need more time and combination with other platform to increase rank and volume. This coin already have basic performance, only need new up date information about work together with other platform, gaming and gambling are really recommended. Ethereum will survive yes but taking bitcoin place in 2020 no. |

Ethereum's near Future, looks good. It may touch $600-$700 this year.
However it's not possible at the moment for eth to cross btc value. BTC is very far and stronger than ETH.

I see this as expecting too much from Ethereum maybe because it is the second best coin so it might now be easier to replace Bitcoin and be the most valued crypto; well it is indeed too much of expectations because as it stands now there is no coin that have the power to replace Bitcoin. What I expect to see from Ethereum is a good growth owing to what the team is working on and also as a result of the good news coming into the crypto space of which other coins will benefit from the news as well. |

Many altcoins would try to achieve important goals before Bitcoin hardfork because they realize that from this point bull market could happen and only coins that showed a great progress could succeed.  |

No i don't think so. Of course Ethereum start very well in this year but beating btc is quite impossible right now. Look at coin market cap and see how much difference between their market cap. They are updating many things and preparing for ETH 2.0 also but although it's not enough to beat btc. They need almost $140M+ to beat btc and it's not that simple. So there is no way eth will be taking 1st place in 2020. |

It is difficult to know in advance what will happen, but when investing people only invest in value, Bitcoin will still be better than Ethereum for the time being. Are you kidding me? Then I can say the same thing for DASH or perhaps doge coin then since it is much faster than Bitcoin. Also, are you even looking at the market capitalization? Look at the supply of Ethereum and you'll see that in order for Ethereum to surpass Bitcoin in price, Ethereum need to surpass the market cap of the whole world.
