Hello. I am from Eastern Europe. I have been on solo.skpool for over two years. If I switch to eusolo.ckpool, will all my shares be lost? Two years of mining for nothing?
it does reset the stats when you change over to eusolo

Congrats! Was wishing a smaller miner got it, but am glad the pool got another before 2025!
It's been an active year here, I'm grateful for this space.. feels good knowing there's a chance w/a few TH.
Hope a small miner can get the next one! Maybe the new EU server can kick in the inaugural Block before end of year!
Wishing everyone here good luck and a great new year ahead! LFG!!

A few of us are working towards this goal in the ‘willi-pool’ ( https://solorun.lima.zone/) But unfortunately we can't promise anything Happy Mining!

From an Antrouter, I got myself a little Bitaxe gamma. And he has been mining on the pool since this morning. I am now hesitating to disconnect the Antrouter, as the BitAxe litteraly dwarves it. What should I do ?

Hi. What is the difference between CKpool and Vkbit - the second one says it uses the same code?

You can use the same code and install your own pool.

ckpool is software, which any pool can run. However this thread is about solo.ckpool.org that runs ckpool software - I am the author of the ckpool code and have been running this pool for a decade.

While both previous answers are correct, there's a key point missing IMO, this pool here (CK Solo Pool) has a long history and is known and trusted to pay out if you were to get a Block. As opposed to all other new solo pools, which have no such history nor developed community trust. I'm not suggesting these other (newer pools) are not legit, I don't know - but I do know this pool is legit and personally wouldn't risk being elsewhere for solo (unless I had the bandwidth to DIY, which I don't). Also one last good luck to everyone mining here through end the of 2024, perhaps we can get that rare back-to-back before the end of the year! LFG! Especially small miners!!!

The more you know about the software and hardware, the most efficient you are going to fine tune and maintain a pool. Lets hope CK keeps going and finding many more blocks.

Hi. I mine with butterfly jalapeno 7GH and I am not on this list. Why?
The minimal hashrate you need to have to be added on Willi's pool is 200 GH/s. If you want to still use it , you can use the same workername as another of your asics connected to willi's pool if you have one (which is >200GH/s), so your shares will be taken into account. By the way, there is a dedicated topic to willi's pool: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5478927.0

If you're not mining with Willi's solo group, then the link "solorun.lima.zone" is irrelevant. If you're mining on solo.ckpool, you can check by pasting your bitcoin address here, in order to get your actual stats: https://solostats.ckpool.org/

Hi
Thank you for your service to humanity.
Question: I was successfully using solo CK pool a couple years ago and I tried to reconnect using all my old info and I’m getting this error:
20:47:28.708] Started cgminer 4.12.0 -12-12 20:47:20. 709] Probing for an alive pool 24-12-12 20:47:28.719] Failed to resolve (Parong URL) solo.ckpool.org:433€
I looked for changes to the website but I think I’m pointing at the right place: sudo ./cgminer -o stratun+tcp://solo.ckpool.org:3333 -U
I have also tried org:433. That’s why it says error 433 but I say I’m pointing to 3333. I’ve tried both plus one kore.
Any ideas on what I’m doing wrong? I haven’t used it since my electricity bill was $340 and I learned first hand what this stuff cost (when people say no intrinsic value yet usb miners can cost $340 (probably $150-$200) since my usual bill is $150-$200.
I just want to make sure it’s working it gives me confidence in everyone when I can make it work too.
Any ideas to find an active pool?
