In the semi-final Mirage map, B rushes made by T side EF were lost consecutively and the defeat was inevitable for EF. When these rounds were given, Ence regained his senses and became 12-9. Actually, EF was having a really good T-side until 12-7. It was unnecessarily hard on both sides and the losses were like this. EF lost 3v5 in the last round of the game, there was a carbon hit, everything happened at once. The nuke map was used for the Decider map. Who will be the finalist will be determined on this map. Although Nuke is not a priority for EF, I like the Nuke map and I trust them in this map.

I can say that Eternal fire played a really terrible game on the t side. Despite such a bad t performance they lost the match 16-14. Mirage map has this problem in itself. They still haven't taken a step towards improvement. If they played better on the t side, the match was already over. They always tried to smoke the side and rush in. This also worked in favor of the ence team.

EG and RNG would be a 50-50 game for tomorrow, so I'll take whichever odds are good for these guys. OG and Hokori too should be an easy bet, as the boys from OG are on fire after their excellent performance earlier today even with an 11k deficit. Team Liquid v Gaimin, this one should be a 50-50 as well because of how well Seleri is drafting and how cohesive their strats are even when faced with cancer heroes. There'd be a lot more juice to be squeezed from tomorrow's event but that's all I have analyzed so far.

Although Eternal fire won the first map, they lost the other two maps and had to say goodbye to the tournament in the semi-finals. Honestly, I can say that the match, which would have ended very comfortably 2-0, came from where to where. The ct side played well on the Mirage map. But when the t side passed, the rush smoke game was made and constantly died unnecessarily. Of course, I can say that Ence kept the b side well. Valde suddenly became a star while playing badly.

I can't say that Eternal Fire were unlucky because this was all their mistake. Because they could have really finished the series on Mirage after bringing the score to 12-6. But suddenly they started to play in a very meaningless way. I mean why would you change your playing style while it is working great? They suddenly started to play B for many rounds in a row and failed big time. ENCE got a 10-2 series thanks to this opportunity and won the map.

Eternal Fire still could have finished the job on Nuke also. The first half ended 9-6 maybe but it was still a map that they were way more experienced than ENCE. But they failed anyway. ENCE won the other half 7-1 and finished it. Eternal Fire players were mentally down a lot at one point. They still can't fix this. They should stay concentrated no matter what otherwise they can change nothing.

If there is such a ridiculous style of play, it will be difficult to beat your opponent. They didn't even take mid control most of the time. Mid control could have been taken and easier entry could have been made. On the Nuke map, I saw the team so desperate. Something needs to be understood and talked about.

Well EG, RNG and Aster would be the team for that. I'll take EG to win 2-0 against BetBoom but not sure about taking RNG on PSG.LGD. The thing with this group stage is that, its kinda like hit and miss at the same time because even a team like Hokori managed to steal a map against the favourites to win this TI, PSG.LGD and its just silly sometimes

I totally agree that it was very related to the IGL difference. Because imoRR doesn't have much experience with this role. I must admit that the team were doing really good on Vertigo. They were playing systematically and patiently most of the time which brought the win to them nicely. They maintained the same effort on Mirage until a point. But at one point they really started to do the meaningless thing @ILuckyGuyI mentioned.

They should have continued to build their game upon bombsite A after trying B once. They tried B twice and lost those rounds. They were still going for the third time but after losing one man they gave up on the tactic.    It was like they were going to make a comeback but another round was wasted this time. 3 A 2 short was the worst tactic I've ever seen and it didn't work. If soulfly transfer happens the team will be very very strong in aim. If xantares becomes igl, entry will be soulfly. If woxic becomes igl paz will be the second awper.

And just like that, LGD is in the top 4 of their group. After starting very poorly in this tournament, they turned it around by sweeping both OG and Liquid. They've shown that even if the meta is against their pool, they can still pull off and dominate strong teams. The next matches for them will be a lot easier since the matches left are Boom, Gaimin, BetBoom, and RNG.  It will be an easy win for them except maybe for RNG which I think they can still take a draw.


What is happening to Boom Esports. They still have to take a win in the group stage. They have been swept by OG, Liquid and Gaimin. And they split with Hokori and BetBoom. Their next matches will be even harder to win. They are lined up against LGD, Soniq and Liquid today. I fear they will be eliminated from this group stage if they do not keep their acts together. Are they exhausted coming from BTS tournament? They have no rest. From BTS they went straight to TI. They should have skipped BTS and rested to be focus for TI. It is just 16K prize compared to what they can win in TI. Their organization is working them like horses.

Speaking of soulfly, he has officially been accepted to FPL recently. He is really one of the most impressive Turkish players now. I also believe that he is a much better team player than imoRR. We need patient players in the team. I really like imoRR's aim as it is amazing. But when it comes to game sense there isn't much about it I'm afraid. If he doesn't improve himself about it day by day then there is no need to keep him in the roster. I don't say that he should be sent from the team because he can still be useful by being benched.

About the IGL situation, woxic's IGL was also problematic as we saw it before. woxic is more useful in his current role truthfully. They can try XANTARES for the role in that case. If they still have problems on calls then they will need to sign a good IGL later on.

Sunpayus made a really incredible AWM defense under outside and heaven on the Nuke map on the CT side. Woxici play with AWM had a good agro game and the first half ended 9-6. Xantares was 0-10, but EF was able to take 6 rounds, there is no such thing as a frag contribution on every map, it could be when it was bad, but it was immediately criticized by many viewers.

It has been a good experience for EF, there are many lessons to be learned, especially in the Mirage map.

After the loss of Xantrares Mirage, he started with a mental loss on Nuke, maybe he could have been EF in the Final if he hadn't been so mortified.

SunPayus showed his quality in the series against Eternal Fire. His AWP style really resembles syrsoN by the way. He doesn't go for flick shots too often and chooses to take his time a little more. This style helps him play with impressive stats most of the time. It is risky at the same time of course because he can have serious issues against faster players. But for now he can surely be considered one of the best AWPers.

Eternal Fire could have been in the semi-finals but they made serious mistakes and missed the chance. I see that Outsiders destroyed ENCE by 2-0 (16-8, 16-14). This proves that ENCE can be beaten really comfortable as long as you know what you are doing during the whole series against them. Outsiders won $50k + entrance for ESL Pro League Conference at the end of the tournament.

For the series against BOOM Esports and Gaimin Gladiators, PSG.LGD will lose their reserve draft time.

This will surely hurt them. I do not know how fast they draft but if you lose your reserve time, you will be forced to have a quick draft. I hope they will come prepared for these matches so they can still win even with this disadvantage.

It will be a break for Boom though because they really need a win with the remaining matches that they have if they want to keep going in TI. They will surely take advantage of this penalty given to LGD.

How are they coming up with penalties? This seems so strange. Here is the quote from that link

For the series against Royal Never Give Up, PSG.LGD will lose priority selection for Radiant or Dire.
For the series against BOOM Esports and Gaimin Gladiators, PSG.LGD will lose their reserve draft time.

Why different penalty for different games? Why not same penalty for all three games? Never actually played DOTA so I don't know how big of penalty is loosing reserve time but it seems to me this could end up being a catalyst and firing them to even better performances.

It is just the first day of the group stage. That tie will eventually break when the strong teams face each other. There is nothing special there unless that tie remains when we reach the fourth day of the group stage.

PSG.LGD is breaking everyone's expectation honestly. I thought that the first and second days will be an amazing run for them but I'm looking at them as seems they're struggling.

But, they're still winning.

I'm not just used to see PSG.LGD struggling during these group stages but that's it. All teams that have been qualified on the TI has something to show and blow their opponents and this is the beauty of TI, no underestimating of opponents.

Well actually they are still good compared to like half of the teams on that group. Probably saving up their aces rather than giving it all up on the group stages but its just so random at this point though.

Going with this single bet for the opening game on day 3 though, PSG.LGD needs to start racking up wins on their next games to make sure that they will get the upper bracket so yeah this could be it though
